Hubs is on his way home from work soon. The house is tidy and everything is all sorted. I have started dinner, but I am tired - didn't sleep well - it always takes me a night to get used to having him back in the bed :ybatty:

Angel I inject myself too - not fun but someones got to do it. hubs doesnt like needles.

I like this forum too - lots of neat people :yrolleyes: :ylol:
 
eek! my phone died for a second. Love you too Angel! Muah, hugs. have a sweet and good night ladies and gents. I have to go inflict I tiny mosquito bite on Doug. (he doesn't like needles either, so I tell him they are just little mosquito bite.)

Well, yall are welcome!!! lol! This is one of the best parts of where I live. A lot of beauty. Those are actually iron ore pits. And I grew up swimming in them, and cliff jumping into them. :D

Good question - I have no idea how Marcia got to be a Monitor - it's an outrage. She will now start being a right little madam! I am going to play safe and ignore her. The senior thing is just number of posts (probably 50 or 100 - can't remember).

How is your health Fox - were you able to go wild yesterday?

Senior member is 100 posts. Forum Monitor is dependent upon the number of posts you have in a particular forum coupled with a certain number of thanks. The numbers vary between forums and it does not include the Members Only forum.
 
Got it and thanks!! I'm on remission right now so I went crazy and ate everything, mashed potatoes, steak, pork ribs, green bean casserole, turkey, rolls, corn casserole etc. Yummmm

This caught my eye. I asume you have an opertunity for some medical trial. Why do you say that if you get the placibo you could die?

Cause Sanni, to truly test the new drug, they take you off all current meds, and if your not being treated, in a situation the bad way, could be very detrimental to ur health. :(
 
Dying is a bit extereme. I am sure if the med or placibo would not help and symptoms where getting unberable they would change treatment saying there was no expected benefits from the trial. But I can understand the fear of just going down hill even a bit. Being really sick is so hard. And recovery can take so long. A big desision to make.
 
Yes, and we are all unique n different in so many ways. Each of us have struggles and battles we face, always head on, of course but there are multitudes of factors going into this. Not that i am really different from anyone here, per sé, but my comprehension and understanding of what's at stake is a pretty thorough realistic one indeed.

I can understand that. I know nothing about your history with crohns. So unless we chat more on a personal level I wont say anything more on that. :) Jut the idea of a trial was interesting. And its good to hear they are searching new treatments and meds for us. I hope some day soon they find something somwhere that will truly put the illness in a permanet remission.

They are Sanni. Rest assured. There is 3 trials starting that i know of, as my doc has tried to put me in 2, but he had reservations as well. Well, enough bout that! Hows life been treating you young lady? Did i understand correctly that you guys don't have Thanksgiving? Shame really. I cooked for hours but unfortunately was unable to eat. Smelled outstanding however :). Hope you had a great day none the less! Muah- hugs-

Hi Bug. Not really in a better mood. My stomach has been cramping on me the past 2 days and thats not helping (making me worrid something is up). But trying. My man is on his way over and I am making dinner for us.

Angel, Indeed we don't have thanks giving here. And it is a shame. ½ my family is American and I just got to look over all the lovely pictures of all the food (and people) my cousins have posted on facebook. They have a farm so most food is self grown. And it looked good! Wish I could have been there.

If there is one thing i know about Angel, its that she is a realist! To a fault sometimes. Thats why i sont want her to do the trial!!!

So you remember when we were talking about the employees being trampled? I was not in the store for 5 minutes before I was being shoved in every possible direction. Unfortunately my body is not as strong as my mouth. Hubby shuffled me outta there prerty quickly. Oh wells!!!

Hey hun, if you are worried something may be up, I would go in and get it checked out. You know your body better than anyone else. And if nothing is wrong, and it's just your CD, well than atleast your mind can rest assured. Plus the stress of worrying will only make it worse.

Hi all. Hope you are well. Participated in Black Friday shopping today. That just means I went to McDonald's. Now going to do the annual throw my back out getting the Christmas decorations out of the attic routine.

And yes, I do have a fancy color on my avatar, but only where I am forum montor.
 
Hi Cheryl. I just want a GOOD reason why he's SOOOO against having ME on the A Team.He dodges the issue everytime and I've been hinting for weeks........Hope you had a good day yesterday and you're feeling ok.

Hi Ryan!!! No actual black Friday shopping? I actually dispise Black Friday shopping. People become monsters, and all over unneccessary goods. Because we all need 5 50inch flat screans dont we???!!!! People go everyday without food, and we are trampling eachother, even hurting eachother, over frivolous items. Makes me mad. :ymad:

1. You have access to a private Staff forum where decisions regarding Crohnsforum.com at present and its future are made. We welcome you to take part in these discussions and help guide the future of this community.

2. In the forums that you are Forum Monitor of, you get a fancy blue gradient behind your username and avatar to signify that you're a Forum Monitor of that forum. Note that this gradient will NOT show in forums you are not a Forum Monitor of.

3. A custom title of, "Forum Monitor"

4. The ability to automatically request thread title changes and the movement of threads to different forums.

5. Knowledge that you're awesome

Also just keeping an eye on the posts to ensure there is no spamming or conflict going on. If you are unsure report the post and the mods/admin will discuss and take action if need be
