I'm going to remove macadamia nuts from the diet today. The last time I tested I wasn't for sure if it made a difference. This time I'll look to see if some of this tatigue lifts. Left foot hurts. I suspect it is due to the shoes I wore not fitting well. It might be related to the fatigue also.
 
Oh good, at least of this morning I seem to have a clear result. I avoided macadamia nuts this morning with breakfast and so far I'm feeling much better. time will tell of course but so far so good. I'll stay away from macadamia nuts. I guess the only nut that goes down well is cashews. Weight 178lbs. energy levels a little above average. Strength poor. If this how I feeel this morning keeps up it will be a goo day.
 
I do feel better today after avoiding macadamia nuts but I don't feel all that much better. I'm still fatigued. I'm still a bit out of it. It isn't that bad of a day though. I don't like avoiding to many foods at a time so I added potatoes and spices back into the diet. I'll test those later if need be. For now I'll stick with the alpha diet, along with avoiding all bird meats and eggs. Tongue looks good. It is good and healed now. I've long thought that what ever causes the tongue sores causes my IBD condition.
 
Doing ok this morning. Energy levels are improved. Strength is slightly better I belive. Potatoes and spices so far don't appear to be an issue. Will see of course. More testing needed. Avoiding macadamia nuts seems to have done me good. Tongue looks great. Didn't weigh myself this morning.
 
Tired, but overall doing well. Had a bit of a scare being stuck in stop and go traffic on the bridge for 30 minutes or so. naturally had me anxious with my gut, but the gut is doing well of late so I shouldn't be so nervous about those kinds of things. There was an accident on the bridge and it had traffic snarled up. And with that, I was actually somehwat well to the gut the previous two days. Wasn't going to mention as i was hoping for of a trend, which I didn't get today, but it is a mild confidence boost. Think I'll stop eating the barbecue chips. I've eaten them for two days now without issue though so spices are looking good and safe at the moment. tongue looks good. Swam for 40 minutes, did leg lifts and around 10 of the tough pushups. it was a hard workout day and overall I feel fine.
 
The morning is starting out well. I'm feeling good. Energy levels are good. Strength is good. It was a good move to avoid macadmia nuts. The nuts probably are not an allergy just a food that irritates my gut. Appearance decent. Skin looks healthy. tongue looks great. Gut is ok but not great. So for the few hours I've been up I'm feeling good and hoping the day continues this way.
 
Yesterday mornign was good. The afternoon i was more tired out, fatigued. it was likely due to weight lifting in the morning and swimming also. Today I'll rest up more so I can recover. Strength not bad. I'm not Nov. well with strength but I'm going in the right direction. Energy levels not so good due to working out to hard.
 
I'm quite tired and fatigued today. I'm blaming to much exercise. I didn't workout exercise as hard today, hoping htat will get me back on track. Overall though I'll say it was a decent day. i've certainly have had far wrose. With a good nights sleep I'll be more with it in the morning.
 
176lbs. I dropped 2 pounds yesterday and I didn't do anything to try and lose weight. I've had a theory for awhile that in order for me to lose weight I need to find the right diet and turns my body system on. Or another way to say it, a diet that doesn't make me sick will normalize my body system, hormones, etc. So I'm guessing that I'm on the right diet with avoiding bird meats and eggs, along with pork and beef too.

the theory sounds good but may not be right. time will tell.

I'm a bit out of it this morning, same as yesterday. Strength is OK, nothing great. Energy levels are average. Nothing special. I think I''m doing well overall though. I just need to show patience I suspect.
 
It occurred to me that the recent feeling of being out of it coincides with the brief times I was eating barbecue potato chips. So I'll return to avoiding nightshade and spices. I stopped eating them 2 days ago anyway. So I'll be avoiding pork, chicken, turkey eggs, spices and nightshade family. Lots of avoid but I should be able to do it.
 
I'm always looking for diets or ideas to follow and figure being out of it is a good one fo try. If a diet makes me feel as if I'm out of it, dizzy, hard to concentrate, then I'll avoid the food. Easiler said than done but worth a try. So I'll avoid spices, nightshade family and see if I have any problems.

I didn't note it down before but now I'm wondering about this. The previous two days my feet had swelled up. Some shoes I often wore become to uncomfortable to wear. Also on the left foot the socks I often wear had become almost to small. I'm thinking now it was the spicy potato chips I had eaten that caused the foot swelling.
 
Today was a pid out day and glad for it. I may have lost 2 lbs yesterday. I likely gained 3 lbs today. I will avoid the scale for a few days. Ate lots of help with the feeling of being out of it, and it has helped. So going forward I'll avoid spices and nightshade. Im back to feeling that garlic and onions are the likely culperate. At a later time I'll test nightshade foods often and see what happens. I'll also avoid eggs and chicken. I was on this diet not that long ago and ended up worrying myself over the tongue markings or sores that formed. I don't know what to make of the tongue markings. I had a dentist tell me they are nothing to be concerned over. That is likely not true I'm thinking. Regardless I can avoid eggs and chicken. Hard to eat chicken without spices on it, and eggs are not a favorite food. So I'm sticking with fish and maybe at a later date plain salted beef, which tastes alright.

Eneergy levels feel good this later afternoon. Strength isn't that bad either.
 
Doing alright this morning. A little tired and believe that due to pigging out yesterday. All the food slightly upset my gut which kept me awake.

OK lets see, list of food likely allergic to and symptoms:

Pork - causes gum swelling and bleeding. Face also swells up, and I develop an ear ache.

Watermelon, pumpkin, and other melons - classic allergy symptoms. Symptoms are sever when they are eaten. Feels like I'm going to die. End up throwing up for a few hours and then i'm back to my typical self.

Chicke,n, eggs, turkey - lots of confusion remains with this. Known reactions, likely are tongue markings/cores. Later on after reguarly eating is lots of diarrhea starts. This happens a month or two after I start reguarly eating chicken, eggs. Still have questions on what is going on here.

garlic/onions, possibly nightshade, other spices - more work needed to narrow this one down. Know that garlic/onions can cause bleeding around my finger nails. Eating spicy food can make me feel dizzy and have trouble concentrating. A feeling of being out of it occurrs. It might cause upset stomach, but that takes time to develop, possible a week or more or regular eating to cause stomach issues.

Those are the ones that come to mind. One nut that I have trouble spelling gives me a fat lip when eaten. Easy to avoid it. .
 
Just something that occurred to me today. A number of years ago I found my feet had grown wider in size. I went from wearing typical width shoes to needing extra wide shoes. Never knew what was going on, other than speculated that my tennis play at the time was widening my feet. Now, I'm wondering if eating garlic/spices was swelling my feet. I'm guessing that is it. The foot swelling has gone away since I began avoiding spicy foods.
 
Have done well today. Something swishing around in my mind today was the idea that nightshade family is a problem. Trying to make a connection to the problem with chicken, eggs, pork, it had me thinking about soy being fed to live stock. Todays soybean is related to the nightshade family. So possibly farm animals fed soybeans could cause me problems if I have an allergy with the nightshade family.

Looking good and healthy since avoiding nightshade. That seems to be common, something I've noticed in the past. Garlic and onions remain a leading contender but nightshade family is a likely candidate too. A month or two I ever though i'd solved that with eating tomato paste with french fries and having trouble with that. But then again french fries can be a problem for the gut also. .
 
I'm doing quite welll this morning. My energy levels are above average. Strength is average. I'm pleased. Weight was 177lbs. I'm avoiding snack and sugary items. Will be nice if I find myself 175lbs or lower this weekend. guess I have a birthday party to attend on Monday so i can fatten back up then.
 
I'm fatigued and worn out this morning. No working out for me today. I need to rest and recover. Overall do well. I just over exercised which is easy for me to do. Gut hurts a bit but nothing terrible. I'll keep avoiding spices, nigthshade family, and bird meats.
 
Still feeling fatigued this morning. The fatigue is not as bad as yesterday morning but it remains and I'll be taking an easy today. It always takes some time to recover when I feel this way. noticed yesterday morning that I had a small tongue marking/sore. It remains this morning. Haven't eaten any eggs or chicken. So I'll continue to monitor. Energy levels not so good. Strength OK. gut is ok.
 
I've done well today. The fatigue remains with me though. that hasn't been pleasant. but with that said got some rock work done. I have to finish that up later today, or maybe in the morning. Gut is well. Appearance healthy. Yesterday I started eating those refried beans that do not have spices in them. So far so good. I appear to be handling the beans well. Pleased about that. that's about it for today.
 
I'm doing btter this morning. the fatigue is still there but not as pronounced. I could probably do some light exercises this morning. Gut is OK. Strength feeling ok, nothing great there overall though. Energy levels are OK. I should be a regular ok day. The beans being eaten, spice free are going down well. I'll want to keep a close tab on that though. that seems to be about it, can't think of much more observed.
 
It is interesting in that I still have that tongue sore, marking. It isn't big, it has grown a little in size but over all remains small. I've long blamed eggs and chicken for causing those but no eggs of chicken meat eaten. Don't know what is going on, but it isn't painful, doesn't look all that bad, just there. Imagine it will go away soon as they typically do. Maybe once the fatigue lifts.
 
Doing ok this morning other than a tooth is a little tender. Hope nothing develops further on that. Energy levels are OK. Strength ok. Stomach could be better but ok. Weight 179lbs. Tongue sore remains there, small but there.
 
On the tired and run down side today. Was thinking about it, i've been eating a little more fiber than typical. I've eaten more rice cakes than normal and I've been eating the beans which would have a good amount of fiber in it. That will do it, wear me out. It might also explain the tongue sore. I've thought to much fiber in the past could being about those tongue markings. Feel weak today. It does with fatigue.
 
I've been drinking a small amount of carrot juice for maybe 2 months now. I don't drink much, don't care much for the taste but like the idea of the nutriets.

This tongue sore I have is going to drive me crazy. Since carrots are related to parsley and parsley is a spice, I'll see if avoiding carrots gets rid of the tongue sore.
 
To start the week off I'll be avoiding beans and carrot juice. What I want to see is if the tongue sores goes away when I avoid those foods. the tongue sore has grown larger overnight. If beans or carrots are the answer then the sore will likely be smaller in the morning. Beans are interest in that soy beans are fed to live stock and a theory goes that soy beans fed to live stock will makes the meat problematic for those with bean allergies. And carrots are more straight forward.

Feel lousy this morning. Energy levels are poor. Strength isn't good. I', not out of it, but I'm not all there either.
 
I seem to have better energy this evening. And my tongue does appear to be healing. More time is needed to be certain but the tongue is showing signs of healing up. So the two foods avoided beans, and the carrot family are looking good as the cause of the tongue sore. Between the two beans seems to be the more likely culprit. Carrot family makes a lot of sense too though. I've yet to have a good day since I began drinking carrot juice a month or two ago. And that Chinese rice dish did have lots of carrots in it. So time will tell. This evening energy levels are good. Strength feels decent. I might be able to do more tomorrow, which would be fun.
 
It still looks like the tongue sore is healing. It is still there, looking ugly but it didn't grow and now looks better. Another day should give me a certain answer. Looking like either beans or the parsley family caused it. Course something else might be to blame. Gut OK. Started drinking some special water that is low in heavy water. Imagine it will be safe and good for the gut but as always should keep an eye on. Energy levels this morning are average. Strength is average.
 
Did 30 minutes of shoveling mud and shells this afternoon. So I'm doing better, feeling a bit more energetic. I could have done more work but figured don't press it, I'll do more tomorrow and even might feel better. tongue still looks like it is healing but uncertain. Tomorrow will likely be telling. Kind of exciting in a way about the tongue. Always figured if I could figure out what causes those markings or sores I'll have an answer for the gut. parsley family and beans seem like good guesses.
 
One thing I keep forgetting, the only foods for sure that I know that cause stomach problems are bird meats and eggs. I have problems with other foods, but they tend to not cause stomach issues, or similar issues. to a certain extent that gives me some confidence, that I'm not going to be overwhelmingly sick or suddently sick. Probably just jinxed myself. the tongue sore driving me nuts might simply be caused by to much fiber eating and a sore damaged gut. Over time the guy will heal.
 
Tongue sore looks Ok this morning. it appears better. This morning I'm feeling good about the idea of avoiding bird meats and eggs. It has always been a strange food to avoid for me. It takes a month or two of reguarlly eating bird products for me to get sick. When I avoid bird meats and eggs I feel miserable, and if not careful can have severe stomach issues. I also though have only had times were I'm well when avoiding bird meats and eggs. So I'll stick with this and add the other foods back into the diet, carrot juice and possibly beans later on.
 
Feeling rather weak, lousy this morning, the usual of late ever since I began avoiding eggs, chickens, and turkey. I don't know what it is but I'm a bird meat addict and going through withdrawals. Well, not sure that is what is happening, but it is always strange when I avoid bird meat. But with that said the gut is good. It has been awhile since I was last overly sick to the gut. That is a big positive. Maybe in a month or so I'll get more energy, the fatigue will lift. I hope so. .Tongue looks the same. the markings are there but not worse. the tongue does not hurt in anyway, just has these markings on it. Weight was 180lbs. Since avoiding bird meat and eggs my weight slowly climbes. that makes sense though since I'm not as sick to the gut. Imagine my weigh twill level off eventually and when that happens I'll have ok energy levels and can begin trying to drop the pounds.
 
Just to see what happens I'm going to avoid all grains, rice and wheat in particular to see if the tongue markings/sore goes away. I doubt it will but worth a try. the last time the markings showed up I blame eggs that were in some rice soda crackers. It might have been the rice that caused the issue instead of the egg.
 
I shouldn't be writing down anything, it is much to early, but since avoiding rice, wheat, corn, I'm feeling much better.

I avoided grains for many years in the past and was not able to get it to work. But it very well might be part of the problem. More time needed of course but here in just a few hours I'm liking how I'm feeling. the fatigue isn't as pronounced at the moment.
 
I'm a little bit out of it today, but I am feeling better since I didn't eat those rice crackers with lunch. Tongue look sa little better today. That might be wishful thinking but in my eyes looks to be healing some. Would be very nice if the tongue markings were caused by grains, rice, corn, wheat. That is easy to avoid having lots of experience with that. I'm getting far ahead of myself but if that turns out to be the case and I wake up in the morning with a largely healed tongue I'll have to look into the idea of grains fed to live stock being a problem for me.
 
Since avoiding all grains I do believe I'm doing better this morning. Energy levels are improved. Strength is the same. The tongue sore is there but I believe it has healed some. Anohter day or two and I'll have better proof with the tongue sore. So I'll just need to show some patiences and fingers crossed ina day or two I'll have certain proof of healing after I avoided all grains. Weight 180lbs.
 
It felt like I was doing much better this afternoon. My energy levels were higher. And more importantly I felt stronger, had less dizziness, the feeling of being out of it wasn't as strong. It is always difficult to measure such changes but today was a better day I felt and I was relieved. So will see if this continues. That the more important thing, feeling healthy more consistently. I'll keep avoiding all grains, rice, wheat, corn. Oh, my eye sight was better also. I'm wearing my reading glasses as i type this, but earlier I was on the computer without the reading glasses and while I strained to see what had been typed I was able to do so. .
 
180lbs. Bit surprised as i thought I'd weigh less since I ate very little food Well, very litte is relative I suppose, but small for me. I had good energy for the day too.

Tongue sore is stil there. Hard to say if it healed up some or not. I suspect it did heal as I believe it is harder to see. But maybe another day will be more telling.

Feel good this morning. nergy levels are good. Strength is good. So far the day is shaping up to be a good one. I'll keep avoiding rice, wheat, corn along with pork.
 
I'm doing well today. I'm not as energetic this afternoon but that is more likely to working this mroning and working out exercises also. OUtside of that I'm not fine. No definitive answer on the tongue sores, but I do believe they are healing since I avoided rice. I'm likely to begin trying to lose weight again starting tomorrow. If I have decent energy I might be able to pull it off. I just need to get down to 170lbs which shouldn't be to hard.
 
178lbs. The tongue is looking better. It is healing. I can still see the outlines of the sore and I won't be entirely happy till that is gone. Overall though I can say with a high degree of belief the since avoiding rice/all grains my tongue sore is going away. Fingers crossed this time I have the anaswer. As written earlier, many times in the past I've avoiding all grains for years. Yet I never entirely became well to the gut not had much energy. there are several possibly answers for that, something else makes me sick, eating cheese causes me energy problems and I was eating cheese at that time, etc. So I have my work cut out for me. I'm planning on fsting today. Hoping to reach 170lbs. If I fast I'll likely be 177lbs in the morning.
 
I am fasting today, have good energy this afternoon and in general feel good. Tongue looks well also. have done a lot fo exercises also, from light weight lifting, walking to some swimming. I'm not so dizzy today. So I'm likely where this is going and hope this continues. I'll continue to stay away from grains, pork, and everything else.
 
One thing I can with certainty since avoiding all grains once again, time moves very slowly. For what ever reason the last couple of days time has gone much more slowly for me. I suspect I feel that due to not being as tired and warn out. I do feel a little like a kid though. Gut doing well. I only ate one meal and while I do feel hungry I'm doing ok. Weight is 178lbs. I'll undoutbably be 177lbs in the morning if not 176lbs.
 
177lbs. Tongue is healed up! It looks great. there is maybe a little bit of healing remaining to be done but overall I'm going to say the tongue is healed.

there is a hi degree of certainty that the tongue sores/markings are caused by graiins, rice in particular, wheat, and possibly corn.

Now comes the waiting. I'm hoping for greater energy and a better gut. that will take time. I'll also be trying to figure out why didn't I become healthy after I avoided all grains in the past. I have several theories on that and in the future I'll have to test them.
 
It is so nice to have a visual that I can point to and look at. Eating rice, or wheat, possibly and likely corn probably causes those tongue sores.

What is not so nice if my poor energy levels. I'm rather dragging of late. Imagine in a week or two that will change. At least I hope so.

Had a mild upset stomach this morning. That seems to be to typical after I fast. there is something about fasting and upset stomachs. Doing ok though overall.
 
I was showing a little bit of life today. Energy levels were better. I'm not brimming with energy by any means, but overall it was a better day. Talking decently well. I think I'll make a change back to avoiding macadamia nuts. I like their taste but they do cause me some light issues. Gut was better for the rest of the day. I'll likely fast again tomorrow. See if I can get down to 176lbs. Ordered some beet sugar. Sugarcane sugar is related to corn, wheat, rice so figure I'll do what i can to avoid cane sugar. With the diet I'm following that isn't so tough.
 
Tongue looks fantastic. No sign of the tongue markings at all. The answer for now appears to be rice, wheat, corn causing the tongue sores. later on I'll test eggs to see what happens.

Feel decently well this morning. Energy levels are good. Strength is good. Nothing speciall with either energy or strength but at least i'm not feeling worse. Glad about that. Now is more waiting, hoping my energy levels increase. I'm not going to be dong myself any favors today as I'm planning on fasting for 23 hours. Only one meal today basically. i will likely weigh 176lbs tomorrow morning.
 
So far I'm doing quite well today. My energy levels are good. i worked for an hour shoveling mud and shells from the yard. I could have easily work more but didn't want to stress myself to much. It probably wouldn't take much to have me feeling awful once again. It is warm outside too. So pleased about that. i'm doing well since avoiding all grains and following the fish diet. Hopfully I'll be able to begin experimenting further with the diet, adding more foods. It will greatly help if I get better energy for me to do that.
 
I'm doing quite well today. It is a nice feeling. And I'm fasting today, the second time this week. I'd typicslly be really worn out. So I'll keep away from all grains, and folllowing the fish diet. For now at least it seems to be working. weight is 178lbs at the moment. There is a good chance I'll weigh 176lbs in the morning. Goal for the week is to reach 175lbs, without killing myself of course.
 
Met my goal of weighing 176lbs this morning. I'm feeling decently well considering I fasted for 23 hours, the second time this week. tongue looks good and healthy. Energy levels are god enough. I'll likely do some more yard work this morning and I should be able to do that without to much problem. Strength is just so so. Back hurts some after shoveling a bunch of sand and shells. Overall I'm doing well with avoiding all grains, pork and following the fish diet.
 
I'm a little run down today, but to be expected since I've fasted 2 times this week. with that said, i'm doing pretty good. I have decent energy levels. I'm able to think decently. I'm not out of it. So all good, and glad i'm avoiding all grains. Tongue still looks great since I began avoiding rice and other grains. It is wonderful to have that visual. I'll likely fast again tomorrow. I want to reach my weeks goal of 175lbs and tomorrow would be a great day for that to happen.
 
Last night I crashed. It came on suddenly but I found myself with little energy. It was likely caused by not eating as much as doing some pushups in the morning - exercise fatigue. I'm still planning on fasting today but I'll play it by ear. If I find myself overly fatigued and owrn out I'll have a snacck or even lunch. No reason to over due it. Woke up and hour later than typical. Weighted 176lbs. Was pleased about that. I'll likely weigh tomorow at 175lbs, my goal for the week. Gut so so. Could be better with the gut. Fatigue levels medium. I'm hurting but not horribly.
 
Well I'm pushing it, fasting today and I'm feeling it. i'm a bit out of it, but not doing to bad. I'll likely make it till tomorrow but I better go back to regular two meals a day for a couple days.
 
Tongue is looking great. I can't help but think that this is the cause of my stomach and health issues, all grains. If I figured out what caused the tongue sores I've long thought I'll have the main reason for the gut woes. Still need to figure out why I didn't heal in the past but hopfully I can figure that out. Leading ideas are eating to much cheese, eating some sugar from sugar cane, and corn being fed to live stock. It is probably the cheese. I'll find out soon enough though Quite exciting.

I'm out of it after 3 days of fasting this week but looks like I've reached my weekly goal of 175. i'm 176lbs at the moment and close to 175lbs. I should wake up at 175lbs.
 
Weight 175lbs. I nearly weighed 174lbs. My weight can flutate greatly at times, and I've often wondered what was going on when it happened. While I' fasting and looking to lose weight I suspect even if iI didn't fast Id still be losing weight on this diet of avoiding all grains, though the loss would be slower.

I'm tired and worn out this morning. It will be a tough morning I'm guessing. But I'll be eating lunch and imagine I'll be doing better after that.

Tongue still looks great. It is looking more and more like rice and ohter grains caused the tongue sores and probably the weight gain.
 
I'm run down, low energy, but I'm doing well overall though. Feeling upbeat. It is exciting to think I might have the answer finally. Tongue looks good. All I need now is improved energy levels and or course a better stomach. My birthday is coming up soon. Maybe I can ask for a new intestine. And being more serious, imagine once I stop with looking to lose weight I'll have better energy levels and will be able to do more. That is the plan anyway.
 
Tired this morning. i slept in close to 2 hours. With that said doing ok. My fatigue levels are higher than I want but not high enough that i can't do things. Tongue looks great. Ate gyro meat, with out peta bread of course for breakfast. It was good and so far it has gone down well. Fingers crossed that remains the case as the day moves forward. weight 175lbs. I might fast again today. Will see. Energy levels are high enough that i can fast I believe though I'm not sure fasting 4 times in a week is all that good for me.
 
I have been fasting today and I'm already down to 175lbs. I'll most likely be 174lbs if not 173lbs in the morning so long as i continue to fast. Kind of nice. As I though to lose weight for me I need to find the right foods to avoid and I need to have some energy. Which I do, have some energy. I'm not full of energy by any means but compared to typical when I fast frequently I'm an energized bunny. The gyro meat has gone down well. I'm feeling alright. As to be expected I'm a bit out of it with the fasting. I'm moving slower than normal but I'm still moving. I'm finally getting down to a weight that looks decent. I'd like to be 167lbs or so, so another 5lbs ideally but I'm getting there and getting there quickly since avoiding all grains, along with the usuals or pork, cheese, and a few others. .
 
Hey I weigh 174lbs this evening already. I might weigh 173lbs in the morning. I'm not doing all that much different than in the past other than this time I'm avoiding all grains. Well, hope I keep the weight off. Hope I reach my goal of 170lbs quickly. This losing weight stuff isn't all that enjoyable functioning at half capasity. I'll eat two meals tomorrow so should be more with it by the afternoon I imagine.
 
easily reached my goal of 174lbs. I was nearly 173lbs when I woke up and was considering sleeping in so I'd likely be at 173lbs. Feeling ok, well maybe not ok, more on the lousy side of things but to be expected after fasting for 4 days in a week. Tough stuff for me but seems I can handle it now that I've avoided all grains. I'll eat my typical 2 meals a day and that should have me feeling a little better. Gut is lousy. Energy levels are ok. Strenght is poor.
 
This morning is turning out well. i'm more energetic and more with it. Hope this continues. I've lost around 5 pounds this week. I have ruffly another 5lbs to lose. If this good energy remains losing 5 lbs next week should be easier than it was this week.
 
Yesterday was a relatively fun day. Relative in that I had some energy for a change. Rather surprisiing considering I'm in the middle of a fasting, to lose weight. I certainly wasn't overly energized. I'm sure if I had any serious work to be done I would have been in trouble quickly but overall I'm not going to complain.

Tongue looks good. No tongue sores. Skin looks a good healthy color. Energy levels this morning feel ok. Strength is ok. Weight was 174lbs again. I'll likely fast for the day. Fingers crossed I reach 173lbs by toorrow morning.
 
Doing ok today. Energy are decent considering I'm fasting today. Weight down to 175lbs already. Imagine I'll easily make 173lbs by tomorrow morning. Appearance healthy or healthy enough. A bit out of it but nothing terrible for fasting.
 
Weight 173lbs. I was nearly 172lbs. I seem to be losing half a pound a day. Feel lousy, a good lousy in a way, good being that my muscles are not overly fatigued. Energy levels are poor though due to fasting I'm guessing. Gut could be better. The gut is almost always poor atter fasting. Tongue looks great. That reminds me of a medical exam done while II was in elementary school. The doctor had me stick out my tongue, and said I wasn't eating enough vitamins due to my tongue not looking healthy. My tongue looks very healthy now. I'm guessing this problem with grains is something I was born with. Probably will be a slow day as I'm a bit out of it after the latest fast. I'm be quite happy once I reach 170lbs and can take a break, allow myself to recover some, till I work to drop a few more pounds. .
 
I'm dragging today. Part of my dragging is caused by fasting but I'm pretty certain that I'm low on energy due to doing a few measly push ups. Did a few leg exercises too. I'm behind on my exercises today and am up a pound in weight from where I would expect myself to be. It happens. Trying to reach my weight loss goal this week might be tough to do. Will see. Im out of it enough but can function. I'm communicting well. I like that. Gut could be better as always. Hope tomorrow is a better day.
 
I'm feeling half way decent this morning. I'm not brimming over iwth energy but I have some energy which I couldn't say yesterday. 2 meals in t a day and using the bathroom less will do that. Weight came in at 174lbs sadly this morning but it was 174.0, so I'm right at the border of 173lbs. So I'll fast today and probably will be able to reach 172lbs. Will see. I don't believe I should keep fast for to much longer. It isn't easy on me. I can always take a fasting break, I'll rebound some, and then later on get back to trying to get to 170lbs and lower. Tongue looks fantastic. The tongue looks good and healthy. No sores, lines to be seen on it.
 
It is a little strange in that i'm able to talk much better now than typical. Yet I'm low in energy and not able to type all that well. Odd. It will be good once again once i'm back to eating my typical two meals. I'm nearly to 175lbs this later morning. Seems 172lbs should easily be reached by tomorrow morning.
 
It has been quite a good day so far. Energy levels are livable. I don't hurt all that much. And I'm fasting today having only eaten breakfast. I'm already down to 173lbs. Goal is 172lbs. I wouldn't be surprised if I reach that tonight. I still keep losing half a pound a day since removing all grains fromm y diet along with sugar cane sugar.

Something I've noticed about sugar is that it tires me out. Yet on this diet, where I'm eating some beet sugar, I don't become tired after eating. This is something that is hard to test well so I'm not entirely sure what is happening but as best I can tell maple candy sugar and beet sugar do not make me tired and worn out while regular sugar, likey from cane does make me drowsy.
 
Reached my weight loss goal of 172lbs this morning. Glad about that. The weight i'm losing now is showing up. Before I've lose a pounds but couldn't really tell. My energy levels are lousy this morning. Strength is OK, nothing great. I did well yesterday while fasting but I suspect that is the exception. I'll be glad once I finish this. 2 more pounds to go. Imagine I can do that, then I'll pause, recover, and then re-examine how much more weight I need to lose. Imagine I'll gain a punnd or two while recovering.
 
Forgot to note down, since avoiding all grains the gray hairs I had grown have pretty much gone away. I guess I still have a few grays but not as i did from before. I'll keep monitoring.

My weight is up higher than expected this later afternoon. I'm barely 175lbs. I probably will not reach 172lbs in the morning. Will see though. Not sure why I have the slight weight gain other than I might have druink more water than typical.
 
The excitement of the tonue looking great after avoiding all grains is wearing off. There are only so many times I can stick my tongue out and be excited about it. And often times my tongue looked good too when I eating rice. I'm far from being out of the woods. Doing ok this morning. eight 173lbs. It would have been 172lbs but I didn't go for a walk outside yesterday and the outdoor walks tend to take a pound off. I suspect it is due in part to sweat though I don't become all that sweaty. I have weighed myself recently after a walk and do seem to lose a pound from it.

It has been a new experience fasting and having some functional energy. If i was still eating rice Id be in a world of pain I suspect with all the fasting being done. I don't enjoy fasting but it does take the weight off me and now that it doesn't wear out competely i'm pleased with it.

Today or Sunday will be the fast fasting days though most likely. I need to do some house painting which I'll start early next week. I'll want better energy levels for that.

Course the big question running in my mind remains what went wrong when i avoided all grains in the past. This isn't a new diet idea for me. I avoided all grains fro many years in the past. so I know that cheese will hurt my energy levels. No doubts about that. Maybe sugar cane sugar was a problem i overlooked. I was eating dark choclate often at the time. I also was eating turkey and I do wonder about bird meats. I might only be able to eat wild caught fish and grass fed beef. I don't know but I have some more experimenting to do in the future.

Energy levels OK. Strength ok.
 
Weight 173lbs. I'm not far from 172lbs. I'll lkely be 171lbs when i wake in the morning. Feeling quite beat up and worn down as I worked out quite a bit today. it will be good once I stop fasting. I like dropping the pounds but I like having better energy levels even more an eating two meals a day will help me with that.
 
I didn't make my weight loss goal. I came in at 172lbs. I was only .2lbs off from 171lbs. I'm not unhappy about it. that is because I'm using the bathroom less.

That is one thing about the past when I avoided all grains, my diarrhea improved greatly. I was competely well with bathroom habits 50 to 75% of the time. I'm not sure of the percentage as I didn't take notes on that, but I was well often. The problems were that I had poor, energy levels still, developed many denal issues, and still had some D, though it was less often.

So going forward maybe avoiding cheese as I am not will resolve those other issues, of lousy energy, and dental issues. Avoiding choclate with thecane sugar in it might help also. Don't know. there are a lot of different ways to go with this.

Regardless I keep improving on this latest avoid all grains diet. Energy levels are elevated this morning. Strength feels alright also. Nothing great with strength. I'll keep with the grain free diet, along with avoiding pork and all the other tiems. that is one thing I have have not opend up my diet by much. I was thinking for lunch of eating some grass fed beef in tomato sauce. Will see though. I like how I'm feeling at the moment so I might keep with the fish diet for an extended period of time. Also while I didn't lose that pound appearance wise it does look like I'm lost some fat. That's what I'm looking for, less belly more muscle.
 
I did end up cooking the grass fed beef, eating it in plain tomato sauce. Plain but tasted alright and seems to have gone down well.

That reminds me, another possible food that causes me problems, and I was eating often in the past when i was eating grains free is pork and pork gelatin. I know pork and pork gelatin cause my gums to swell up and bleed, along with my face to become painful to the touch, I itch all over, and I get a painful ear ache. That might have given me troubles that didn't allow me to recover. With that said, some of the gelatin capsules taken, as I was taking lots of fish oil at the time, could have been made from beef sources. Eating pork though has long been a problem I'm familar with.
 
Was thinking that while the tongue sores went away after avoiding grains, I've also thought that bird products give me tongue sores also. Probably both do not do so. I've only been avoiding bird products for 5 weeks now. Best if I be careful to continue avoiding eggs, chicken and turkey. I've also long thought that over time bird products give me the scary diarrhea.

I bought some chicken products recently thinking I'd test them out, but I better stick with just grass fed beef and spices for testing.

I'm up in weight this evening. I'm 174lbs or abouts. I'd be lucky to make 173lbs I'm thinking. I'll likely fast tomorrow though. My energy keeps remaining good on this fast.
 
173lbs, not to far from 172lbs. I'm feeling good this morning. My energy levels are elevated. I'm feeling strong. Nothing great with my strength but it could be worse. Tongue is standing the test of time. It looks great since avoiding all grains. I'll fast today. I might continue fasting into next week. I'm close to losing the weight I've wanted gone but I'm not quite there. So long as my energy levels remain good and I'm able to do the work around the house I've scheduled I can keep eating this way. Kind of sucks that I've struck a snag right before I reach 170lbs!
 
Doing well today. Energy levels are down this evening but to be expected since I'm fasting. Weight at 173lbs right now. I might wake up at 171lbs in the morning. It will be close. Hope I do. Tongue looks good.
 
Woke up this morning at 171lbs. Glad to reach that weight. I'm a day or two off from reaching that but glad I happened. It seems I can continue fasting till I reach 170lbs or lower. My energy levels have improved since I've been having less diarrhea. Going to start paining work on the house. This will be a trial. Hope the work goes well. I have better energy or late but not sure if I have that good of energy to do a whole lot of house painting. Will be finding out. Tongue looks good and healthy. I'll contineu to stay away from all grains, pork and watermellons along with those nuts I forget how to spell. I've been avoiding spices but think I'll start eating spices this week and see what happens. .
 
Did 90 minuts of painting and it went really well. I have decent energy. I'll have to let the paint dry to see if I need to put primer down. If not i may be able to work even longer tomorrow morning.
 
I'm doing really well. have done lots of work today. It is all relative, but lots for me. Gut is doing well. Last I weighed myself at 174lbs. I'm likely 173lbs now. It has been a good day. I'm planning on doing even more work tomorrow, and I'll be fasting. This should be interesting.
 
I'm feeling a little beat up this morning. Doing ok overall though. I was thinking of swmming this morning along with the other tasks I have planned but think i'll be passing on that. Tongue looks good. Energy levels kind of lousy. Strength is ok. I think I'm tired from the painting work done. Lots more to do today and I'll be fasting so no need to complain. Don't know my weight but I'll guess 173lbs.
 
I'm already 171lbs this afternoon. It is awesome. I should easily make 170lbs. I'll keep on looking to drop the pounds. I keep on having good energy levels while fasting. No reason to stop. Well there is a reason, I'll likely recover better if I ate my typical two meals a day.
 
Weight was 170lbs this morning. Reach my goal. It is remarkable that since avoiding rice I'm able to fast without feeling absolutely awful. I still have enough energy to operate. I operate in a lower gear when I fast yet stil can run. I'll continue to fast. MIght as well as I still have some fat I'd like to see go away.

Tongue looks healthy. No markings ont he tongue on this grain free diet. I need to add spices to my diet. Think I better start this weekend with that.
 
It still doesn't take much to tire me out. i did a few push ups, a dozen leg squats, did some painting for 2 hours, and I'm exhausted. I'm running near empty. So have some time to go before I recover better. I'm guessing with the tongue doing so well there is an excellent chance I have my basic answer. There remains something else that i've yet to discover that can make me ill I suspect, maybe cheese, cane sugar, bird meats and eggs, pork, Don't know but imagine I'll figure something out by the end of the year. Tomorrow ill likely be a rest day. I'll get back to painting once I recover, with better energy.
 
Doing better this morning. I'm not feeling so sore and run down. Weight 171lbs. I'll likely fast today. Wouldn't mind reaching 165lbs. About the only thing this morning I have running on my mindon the stomach issue is can i eat chicken and eggs safely or not. Most likely it is avoiding grains what got rid of the tongue sore and has allowed me to lose weight. Can't say that with 100% certainly though as I began avoiding eggs and chicken meat a week or two before I can avoiding all grains. No big deal. I'll have to test it out later on.
 
Barely 170lbs. Bit disappointing that I didn't reach 169lbs. Not sure why I didn't but have a guess why. A few days ago I began drinking pineapple juice again. I have some older bottles of it I thought I'd get rid of. that possibly might have been why I didn't lose the weight. Hard to say. the first day I began drinking pineapple juice I also drank some grape juice and I made my weight loss goal. This time I just had a little bit of pineapple juice and I missed my weight loss goal.

Another idea is that I spent less time outdoors yesterday. I would have seated less.

Regardless I'll keep drinking the pineapple juice for now. If i come to believe it is causing me to gain weight I'll stop drinking it. I don't like the pineapple juice all that much. Prefer to lose the fat instead.

I'm covered in all kinds of itchy bug bites. that cmaes from painting easly in the morning, when the no see ums are the worse. It looks like I have a pox. Glad that will be gone in a few days and will make it a point to avoid spending time outside in the mornings.
 
Good news, I have a very slight tongue marking. I joke that it is good news, as i would prefer eggs, chicken, and turkey to be the cause of the tongue sores. Will see thoygh. It has me thinking of eating some rice tomorrow for testing purposes. Will see. My appearance is healthier looking when I eat rice for some reason. I thought that to be worth something.
 
171lbs. I ate rice this morning. I'll begin experimenting and seeing how I handle rice once again. Tongue looks decent. I'll likely fast today. Will be telling how I hanlde that since I'm eating rice. I've done quite well since avoiding rice with fasting. Hope that contingues. As mentioned in the past I've avoided all grains in the past for several years but was frustrated by not becoming well. Knowing what I know now abuot chicen turkey eggs, I suspect I didn't become well due to the turkey I was eating. It might have been the food that kept me from becomig well.
 
That tongue sore is certainly there and has grown a little bit larger in size. Some other possible foods that could have caused this are beans, along with animals fed soy beans and the nightshade family. I've been eating refried beans from time to time. I've also had the nightshade family, tomatoes and potatoes often. I'll avoid and see if the sore goes away.
 
Later this afternoon it looks like the small tongue sore is already healing up. I'll of course keep an eye on it. That seems to be the thing, the sores do heal quickly once I get the right foods out of the diet. At least it seems that way. So I'll stay away from nightshade, beans, spices, the old usuals. Eating rice again. I'm not uncertain why I was able to fast so often for the past two weeks. I'll be finding out soon enough if grains played a roll in that or not since I'm eating rice once again.

Feel good and look healthier this afternoon.
 
170lbs. Kind of surprised by the weight as I didn't eat all that well, having snacks and lots of sugary foods.

Doing will be a significant day. I'm going to fast. I didn't fast yesterday. My theory for the weight loss and being strong enough to fast often has been that by avoiding all grains I've become stronger. Yesterday and htis morning though I've been eating rice. It will be a good test to see if the theory is right or not.
The only other food I've been avoiding long term and testing is bird meat and eggs. I've been avoding them since the end of March. If I'm able ot fast and lose weight easily in the coming days then I'll have to change my theory for why I've been stronger from grain avoidance to bird meats and eggs avodance.

Tongue looks good this morning. There is a slight marking but it hasn't grown over night. Doubt much will come from it.

Fingers crossed I do well with todays fast.
 
It is 1:00 and I already weigh 170lbs. It should be no problem reaching 169lbs by the morning. I might even weigh 168lbs. So far I'm doing well with energy. I'm not overly energetic since I'm fasting today but have enough energy to function. Kind of pleased about this. So far eating rice seems to be fine.
 
The weight continues to come off. I was 169lbs this morning, not far from 168lbs. Good to see. Conservatively I've lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks.

Stomach could be better. That is something though that is relatively positive, the stomach does seem to be slowly improving.

Today will be another big test. How will I do with eating rice. Will the decent strength continue? I hope so. .
 
There is something that likely explains why I'm able ot lose weight now. It is warmer outside, and I'm spending more time outdoors.

I'm still avoiding spices, and the nigthshade family. It has me appearing healthier. I even ordered some spices yesterday and kind of regret that i did that now. I forget but after all the testing with diet I've done there is little doubt that I appear healthier when I avoid nightshade family, and with that spices also. At least that is good and stuck in my mind.
 
Despite eating a lot of rice today I'm still losing the weight. I ate terrible today, ate lots of sugary items, drank a bunch of juice. Thought for sure I'd be putting on a few pounds. Nope. I'm nearly 170lbs this early evening. I'll be 169lbs likely in the morning.

So number one idea that needs to remain being explored is avoiding all bird meats and eggs. Doubts are growing less that bird products cause me health issues. It is a very tough nut of crack since it takes a month or two of regular eating bird meat or eggs to become sick to the gut it is happens every time, as best I can tell.

I'll remaing avoiding spices and nightshade for now. Wouldn't be surprised though if i break that avoidance from time to time. Avoiding bird meat and eggs has me losing weight, have more energy and gut is doing relatively well.
 
I'm 170lbs this morning. Doing ok. Something is the air as it has me sneezing and blowing my noce a good amount. Besides that I can't think of much to complain about. Tongue looks good. I'll fast today, see if I can reach 168lbs. I'll keep avoiding bird meats and eggs, along with spices, beans and nightshade family.
 
There is little doubt, I look healthier when I avoid nightshade family and spices. My skin looks better. My hair is shinny. My feet feels better. I'm less swollen all of a sudden too. My shorts are much loser it seems. So I once again better go on a long term avoid spices and nightshade. I'll also avoid sweet potatoes this time. Sweet potatoes should be fine I've read, but maybe with todays modern sweet potatoes they are not.

I've never been able to do a nightshade and spice avoidance for too long. I need to go 6 months to do that at least to see how I feel. I suspect I know why, the diet is to limited. I'll find myself searching for new foods to eat. So I'm going to take a chance. I'm going to add eggs and chicken to the diet. I'll find out how I react.

I'm thinking avoiding eggs and bird meat it what has helped me to lose weight. And that very well be the case. But I don't eat chicken and eggs plain. They come with spices, nightshade, and soy added to the meal. I shouldn't have to much truoble just eating plain salted chicken and eggs also.
 
I'm going to cheat and say i weigh 168lbs. I was off by .1 pounds of reaching 168lbs. Overall though I reached my goal of 170lbs. Anything additional is a bonus at this point. 165lbs though would be nice.

Tongue is healing. The latest sore never was large but since avoiding spices and nightshade the sore has been healing up. Glad about that. I first beleived that the sores were caused by eggs, chicken meat. then I moved onto grains. Now I'm onto testing spices and nightshade family.

I have a slight upset stomach. Don't believe it anything of great significance but unpleasant as is usually the case. I'm experiencing cramping more than anything.

If I'm feeling up to it I'll buy some eggs and chicken today.

Feeling OK this morning with strength. Muscles do not hurt. I am beat up and fatigued htough. I'm going to blame swimming for an hour yesterday for that. I really did a lot of exercise yesterday and it has caught up to me this morning.
 
Good and bad today. Rather tired out this morning. That is likely caused by the swimming yesterday but also possibly the rice being eaten. Overall though pleased with how things are going. The tongue sore remains but it looks to be healing. If spices and nightshade cause tongue sores then hallelujah. Ate an egg with lunch today. Will closely monitor how eating plain bird meat and eggs go.
 
When a tongue sore heals it becomes more pronounced. So the sore is easy to see. Hopefully it is healing and from what i reemember it appears that it is. Will of course keep an eye on. I'm still eating lots of rice. Hope that isn't effecting the tongue. I'll keep avoidding spices, and the nightshade family. I've long suspected that garlica and onions can cause my finger nail skin to pull back and bleed. Possibly a similar event is happening with the tongue when garlic is eaten. Tired this morning. Don't know if I'll fast again today. I might go to a two meal regular eating to fasting on the third day. Weight this morning 170lbs. I ate lunch 3 to 4 hours later than I typically eat it yesterday giving me less time to fast and lose a pound.
 
It looks pretty clear this morning that the tongue sore is healing up. Ya!!! Hope I have the answer this time, with avoiding all spices, and the nightshade family. 170lbs this morning on the broken scale. 160lbs on the favorite scale. Doing OK this morning. Left shoulder hurts a little. Not sure why but did some pushups yesterday and guessing that is the cause. Looks decently healthy.
 
Weight is 170lbs at the moment. There is a decent chance I'll be able to reach my previous low of 168lbs in the morning. Tongue sore is officially healing. So looks like I have another possible answer for the cause of the sores with nightshade and spices. I'll keep avoiding those. Nice to that when avoiding those I'm keeping the weight off, I suspect. Energy levels OK, but not great. Strength good. My strength levels are not fabulous but better than they were a week ago i believe.
