Why I don't eat so much dairy!!!!!

It was 'Dairy Day' today in one of the buildings I work at - in fact it is 'Dairy Month' in NY.....anyway - as part of the activities today, there were FREE SAMPLES of all kinds of yummy things - like ice cream, cheese, milk.....of course I hadn't had lunch yet, so I grazed my way through a few booths.....

Now I am paying for it - gurgling belly, gas.....don't want to see what it will be like with I (hopefully!) make it home finally!!!!!

Yikes! Hope you made it home okay. Dairy looks like a dead rat to me - I look at it and see PAIN!!!

Happy to say things have calmed down....LOTS of gas though on the way home.....didn't really feel like eating dinner though.......looks like I slid past this one - at least until tonight or tomorrow morning! lol

Phew! Crisis passed!

I wouldn't have been able to turn down yummy samples, either.

I know the feeling! I live in the dairy state, and I have been lactose intolerant for many years. I used to take those "lactase" enzyme pills to help me digest dairy, but over the years they lost their effectiveness and now I find myself in a lot of pain if I eat even a little dairy. For some weird reason, though, I can still eat sheep and goat's milk products with no problem whatsoever. So if you've got a hankering for dairy, you may want to give that a try. It's kind of expensive, though.
