I think I have taken a overdose of Salofalk Enema yesterday at night, once I pressed on the dome on the salofalk rectal foam I thought I was releasing it slowly when actually It was stuck!
I kept it for 14 seconds then pulled it out, I slept shortly after 15 minutes. I did have a slight stomach ache and burning sensation, but I was able to sleep later on. In the morning when I woke up I had lots of stomach noises without pain, and no urge to use the bathroom.
Should I be worried? I feel fine, no side effects of any symptoms
I have read the instructions on how to use it properly, it was just one incident (yesterday) where this happened.
The proper way to use it is to press it while it's upside down and slowly release, once released wait for 10-15 seconds then pull it out.
-I got crohn's disease on my descending colon
- pentase 3 tablets twice a day
-1 folic acid pill once a day
- Used to be Asacol once a day at night...after a bad flare up doctor recommend Salofalk once in the morning and once before I sleep
