What is YOUR weather like today??

Crohn's Disease Forum

Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

Was lovely yesterday and is so again today. My two little conker trees are coming back to life. Can't remember if they are 2 or 3 years old now. I know only 2 conkers grew out of around 30 i planted. Bluebells are starting to show and leaves on trees are just showing through. It's really quite lovely this time of spring when so much is coming to life. The street lights don't come on until around 19.50pm here. Feeling better although having a tired phase with the health. the papers reveal what Carol has witnessed, loads of people out and about with absolutely no real care about social distancing.

Another nice day at 17c. Had a walk to the pharmacy to collect 'scripts' and whoever it was has made a right dogs ear of putting it together. The gastro wrote to my GP in Feb.requesting doubling up on some of my meds. which has been ignored twice since then despite me pointing it out to them. Everythings going to hell over here.10,000+ nursing staff are threatening to walk because of the disgraceful 1% pay rise they've been offered and who can blame them after all they've struggled with this last year ?

-10C Very fresh and winter like. I made the fuel run and stocked up on groceries for the next 2 weeks. With the number of cases I am staying put. I should be good on fuel until the fall both gasoline and furnace oil. The neighbor spoke about going ice fishing, so I'll see where the day goes

I'll get the pan ready then ?

Buff, i expect your neighbour is younger and less experienced than you. Stay safe. It's nice to know you still have winter weather there for some trips out, but take it easy. it's APRIL NOW. Whoopee. Mind, it's cold here and a nasty cold breeze. Coat on for a trip to the shops. Everyone is chatting about how warm it was for the past few days. It's winter again.

Carol, you can't complain as i still have my leccy blanket on, my over blanket on my duvet, my thermal vest and arans on. It's not summer until i say so. Believe me, i know when it's time to stop complaining about the weather. It's when i move to Australia, honestly! (i'd complain the heat would give me a stroke, lol)

I stayed home, I don't like taking risks and this neighbor is younger and more adventurous than I am, but he too knows when to quit. We are entering another so called lock down, but its nowhere close to being a lock down when nearly everything remains open, even the schools. The only things that will close are hair and tattoo salons, for everything else there will be restrictions on how many people can be in attendance. Our politicians are more interested in votes and political popularity than making the hard choices for controlling the outbreak. 0C under sunshine.

We are seeing a lot of covid coming into QLD from fly in fly out workers from Papua . They are having a hard time up there with a second wave of covid. Australia has been sending medical supplies and vaccines as well as medical teams to try to help overwhelmed hospitals and clinics. The borders of Papua and Qld are only separated by a few hundred meters so it is our best interests to help them as much as possible. When I was young , Papua was an Australian protectorate and during the war one of our greatest allies. I believe we should supply enough vaccine for the whole country. Australia has bought and paid for millions of doses of vaccine from Europe. Australia has already asked Europe to send those doses direct to Papua.
The expected east coast low has been upgraded and is now expected to come ashore at Frazer island with rain in our area now expected to probably exceed 200 mm. Ron.

It's been overcast but relatively bright out today. I was outside servicing mowers, pruning as well as burning more grass and prunings... I've never counted, but we probably have over a hundred or more trees and bushes that require pruning. We also have a huge vegetable garden, multiple flower beds and many outbuildings to maintain. I really enjoy plugging along outdoors in the splendor of nature, my back... Not as much. ;)The temperature started out above 0c and rose to around 14c. I'll tell ya, the beer sure tasted good today!

8c and overcast again.Went for a cycle as low temps and wintry showers on the way tonight for the rest of the weekend.
Our lockdown is almost over. The camp sites and outdoor sports etc are open and on 12th pubs, shops and hairdressers etc will open.I really need the hairdresser,no mistake. Of course, the rabble are still up to their shennanigans so another lockdown is possible and no mistake.

10c and blustery.Walked around the park over the road.Found a quiet seat and watched a blue tit fly in and out of a hole in the fork of a tree.Maybe nesting material or food for early youngsters.Hundreds of people around and no one else noticed.......Big drop in temps tonight and tomorrow.Apparently the UK is more likely to get to get snow at Easter than at Christmas. Happy Easter if you recognise the festival,if not Happy Sunday.

+8C Meltdown in progress. I cut firewood all afternoon, and today I will do the same and clean the chimney. I heard snowmobiles running in the distance and later was told that there was a huge Covid party going on. I stayed well away and couldn't go in these warm conditions as I don't have a liquid cooled snowmobile. Case numbers are rising to heights we have not seen, and with all the gatherings going on this weekend we will likely see higher numbers yet.

We have had rain all night but not the deluge they first expected. There is a deep sub-tropical low about 90 kliks off Frazer island . Fortunately it is no longer heading west but is starting to swing to the south east away from the coast. We will get some heavy showers but not the predicted 250mm. With a bit of luck I may not be doing as much bailing as I thought. Ron.

Snow this morning. Bloody freezing out so i gave the birds more food. I have noticed mealworm prices have gone up shockingly. I'll have to use them sparingly. Was paying £46 for 10kg, now £74! agh! That's astronomical. Some of the baby leaves on the plants have shrivelled with the cold so i hope it passes soon.

Chris, you speak of your yard work. what do you mean, sounds like you live on a ranch with that much pruning. Take it easy, your back is telling you to, and no wonder you have a back issue. Those plants keep growing.

We are opening up on the 12th, as Carol said, and i think i might get rid of some of my chemo curls. My hair is dreadful as it hasn't had a cut other than a few snips by me. Ron, i thought Aus was covid free. Buff, sad your numbers are on the rise. Stay safe.

Di , nearly all of our cases are returned travelers in quarantine. On occasions one of the newer bugs escapes via a doctor or nurse . We have a three day lockdown and it is sorted. We don't seem to get any major breakouts just the occasional nuisance one. I thought my water woes were over but it is bucketing down outside at the moment. Another sleepless night. Ron.

I am rather jealous of the govts handling of things there, Ron. It's great that they are straight onto it. We won't be once it starts up again and people come in and out the country. But other European cities are also going into lockdown now. I think Aus is very good towards Papua, really kind hearted. 200mm of rain won't do anyone any good. Hope you don't have to bail out, Ron.

5C Sunny, I sharpened the saw, cleaned the chimney and then went onto firewood. Normally I wouldn't do so much, but in the end I dropped everything at the door and collapsed into the recliner for an hour before going out to put everything away. Today I will take it slower, although I will have an itch to cut wood as the weather for the rest of the week will be wet.

The best laid plans! The low has headed out to sea but not without a swing back on to the coast last night. Caloundra just south of us got 361mm overnight . Maroochy airport just east of me got 260mm and i got got around200 mm. I was up most of the night. Fortunately I sealed up the bedroom skirting boards with marine sikaflex during the week and the water flowed out thru the wall in to the garage. The bathroom and laundry was a swamp. It has stopped coming in now but I did not get much sleep. Not a great way to see in my 71 st birthday. Ron.

Cold with some ice outside. Rather frosty all over but the sun is radiating heat al ready. Hope to push on and get a few things done today. Health permitting, but that's the case for all of us. Don't over do it, Ron. Good call on the marine seal. Hope that keeps working. Take it easy too Buff, We all tend to ignore the realities of our health.

HAPPY BIRTHYDAY COBBER,sorry about the wet start though,so put your feet up and relax. I'll send a cake next year.
Buff,I never sit before every things done or I'd have trouble getting started again and no mistake. Pretty nippy 2c today and windy, with a few light snow flurries.

I must be slipping, when I said I'd send a cake next year I should have said a "sponge" geddit ? to mop the rain water up ?
Cold and crisp again but no wurries.

That's a lot of work, Chris. Take it easy and enjoy more of those rides out. Now's the right time of year. The sun is still a bit vague in the sky this morning. It was very cold earlier on when i first got up. I'm hoping to do a little more in the garden although there has been ice on the pond in a fiine sheet. I do have some tulips out now and some of my daffs are withering. Can't believe this year is starting to get a gallivant on. Got a slight hunch everywhere will be entirely booked up and i'll not get a few days away this year. I desperately want to. Let's hope it's a good summer anyway. That always helps.

Steer clear of that mold Ron. It gets dangerous and you're not healthy. Hope the rain stops for you soon.

A really dull day and not very warm at all. Feels like we're still in the dreary months and not out of the woods weather wise. However, my lilac trees have leaves on now and my tulips are up. there are daisies all over my longer grass lawn and i've even spotted a few dandelions today too. One type of bluebell is up and this year i seem to have huge bundles of primroses. I cheated with my two conker trees as i've brought them indoors to keep out this harsh frost. They have their baby leaves so i don't want them ruined. They have grown around 9 inches this spring already so far, so i've bought very large containers and soil to plant them onwards this year and they'll go back out as soon as the frosts are over. I'm really proud of them.

Hopefully, the day trips i used to take with friends before the cancer/pandemic are starting up again next month.... I could be exiting my bungalow for an exciting day yet. Whoopee, worth surviving for... if they happen. Probably numbers will be on the bloody increase and we'll all be ushered indoors again. I so need a haircut!

7c with some flurries this arvo.Had a cycle out earlier as the sun was shining.
Di,you might have to keep the little trees indoors until NEXT month as the forecast is for wintry weather for a good few weeks yet.You might have to cut a couple of holes in the ceiling if being pampered makes them shoot away.......

The weather here has been wet, windy and atrocious. My folks have their jabs scheduled in the next week or so... Thank God! Today was plain old windy and not too great. We're currently sitting at 10c. I'm glad you get a jab too, Buff. I want my family protected, and you're like an uncle to me...Great news! Cheers all!!

4C Gray, with a pause from the rains. I went for a short walk yesterday, the water is very high in the ditches and the culverts couldn't hold much more and will start overflowing if we get more heavy rain. The snow pack is dropping quickly. Cold and muddy. Good to hear your folks will get their jab Chris.

5c and quite a nice day.Had a walk to the village and the sea front and back home along the river. I'm not going to mention the crowds or the queues for coffee and fish and chips.....but what I will mention is the three public toilets were all out of order !!! Can't use the pub or cafe loos because we're still in lockdown until Monday so where are all these visitors letting go ?
We thought about putting a porta-loo on a bike trailer and offering it to the desperate....price depending on just how desperate they are.......

Carol, your humour is wicked lol. Well, more snow flurries today. Can't believe we're one third through April now and just lousy weather with snow showers. Don't know when it's going to warm up but the leaves on my rose bushes are shrivelling and the ice is still in some water containers in the garden. This is nothing like last April when I was forbidden to go out in our lovely hot spring. Maybe it will keep people in for a bit longer to allow covid to shift itself off well and truly (I'm being polite there with those words).

Two cyclones currently menacing the WEST Australian coast. They were so close together that one actually fed off the other. Both were cat ones now ne is cat3 and the other is only a low. Carol I watch a lot of youtube of people camping and fishing on deserted coastal islands. They all stress the need to take all of their rubbish home but I seriously doubt that they take everything home. Perhaps it should be law that they take a porta-loo as well. Ron.

5c and sunny with intermittent snow showers....Di., it WILL warm up soon because luckily it's not November,so be patient. If it's worth having it's worth waiting for.Ron jogged my memory re: litter.....At the coast y/day there was a lovely, bigger than life size seal, in a glass case about 8ft square.made from litter dropped willy-nilly by the public. But the bins are over-flowing so people are using them. Why isn't the council emptying them more often ?
We even have litter picking volunteers, including children and oldies,so most of us do care a great deal. Most of us !!!

Rain, gray 3C The weather broke for the afternoon allowing me to go out and cut firewood. Now its back to the cold rains. There is a lot of litter along the roads. I remember back sometime ago we used to have the prisoners out picking up the garbage along the roads. Free labor and it gave the inmates a chance to get out for fresh air and do good for the community. They need to bring that program back.

What a difference a day makes. Most of the southern states were in the high twenties yesterday. Today an ant-arctic blast has snow falling in Tasmania, Victoria and the NSW ranges. WE have had overnight lows of 20c but this morning it is 11c. I may have to wear a coat to my blood test this morning. Ron.

8c and bright and sunny although the nights are minus zero.Last year was the warmest April on record. It was the start of the first lockdown and the idiots were on the beaches and in the parks. No change there, except it's cooler. Non essential shops are open today, some since midnight.Queues for barbers and hair salons. No way am I queuing for anything. Glad you're getting your jab Ron, that's one worry off your list.

3C Gray, more rain. The cold wet weather continues seemingly with no end. In a regular year I would still be skiing, this is the worst spring we have had since 2012 which was even worse when we lost the snow by mid March, followed by the late freeze in April which did a lot of frost damage to trees.

Much cooler weather here for the last few days , snow and frost in the eastern states including Tasmania. Moving west to south Australia they are facing extreme fire danger with bushfires already burning being fanned by 90 kph winds. Over in Western Australia at least two towns have been severely effected by a late season cyclone. This is the same cyclone that devastated areas of Indonesia and Timor. No deaths or serious injuries have been reported in Central WA but in some towns up to 40% of buildings have been destroyed or severely damaged. Emergency services have said that it could be weeks before power, water and water treatment plants can resume normal operation such is the extent of the damage. Ron.

Good Lord! Those are some serious winds while trying to fight a fire. I know because I was a firefighter in my (relative) youth. That's a bad situation. It's been cold today with the sun poking out around 4pm. The low today was -3c and we have peaked at 12c. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer... Fingers crossed!

Same as usual here.7c with plenty sunshine.
Massive queues at the shops y/day due to re-opening.One nutter being interviewed by TV,had been waiting for opening since 6am to get his Mrs. some FALSE EYELASHES !!!! In case there's another lockdown he said.No bleeding wonder there's queues. I despair,I really do.

The cyclone damage to Kalbarri was a lot worse than first expected. Over 70% of houses in the town have been severely damaged and are not habitable . The weather in the area is not too bad at the moment but it will take some time to get services back in order. We have a wet weekend coming up and another cold front heading up the east coast. Ron.

I don't think my last post uploaded. Having puter issues here. So, as i was trying to tell you a couple of days back that we've had sun and snow frequently. It's been what i call bloody cold. Buff and Chris, ignore my comment, i don't know the meaning of the word cold. the daffs have finally turned but more trees are coming into leaf, my tulips have opened and the primroses are huge and in great clumps about the lanes and in the garden. I've spotted in the past two days new digging in the garden and those very familiar giant poops in them again. they'll be bringing their cubs, if badgers are called cubs, out into the garden to practice their digging and foraging skills.

Went to the hospital on ~Tuesday for my bloods. I will state it's the first time I've seen Northampton looking familiar. The bloods nurse was telling me that on the Monday of return to normal shopping, Primark's queue was zig zagging right out of the shopping centre into the main high street! I went through the centre on my way home and no loonies to be seen queuing anywhere other than Gregg's bakery and McDonalds lol. Oviously not shopping for false eyelashes!

Numbers still in range, nodes slightly less painful and a scan booked for very soon. That appointment will fall on the first date of a day trip out with friends in May i presume, just to keep me in and missing out as usual.

I've heard on the news about Canada's numbers rising just like Europe's. Even Japan, which did very well initially has rising cases and they don't want the Olympics to go ahead. It will be good to see some sport on the tv this year. I think i am starting to feel more relaxed now the lockdown has lifted. Must be affecting me psychologically. I thought it was getting to me. I feel quite tempted to get on a train and go somewhere different. I suppose it's anywhere out of the bungalow really.

0C flurries and a white dusting of a centimeter of snow on the ground. While numbers have been rising in many parts of the country our region is experiencing a decline in cases. I am going to self isolate until the jab has a chance to become effective. That little brown pill has sent me to the outhouse several times now this morning, and it is with relief. I don't know what is bringing on these cycles of constipation, but my motility is off its game

3C under sunshine. I logged on and noticed I had made a post yesterday but never hit the post button, so there it is. Yesterday the sun came out in the afternoon which is a pleasant change after nearly two weeks of gray skies and rains. I put the battery into the ATV and went for a short ride. Today is another nice day coming up. Time to prep the snowmobiles for summer storage

I have a busy doctor week coming up starting with the skin ca doctor then my nephrologist , followed by INR test and flu jab. The autumn weather is very nice unlike spring which can have really hot days. We will get some showers over the weekend and possibly a storm today. Ron.

It's a repeat of the last week really weatherwise, but all pubs and eating places with outside areas are busy, some with tables out on the pavements (sidewalks). It's really cold at night but they're sitting there just 'cos they can.
Bless them. We're still supposed to stay 2mtrs apart etc.but when they've had a skinful they'll throw caution to the wind....watch this space !!!

-5C this morning under overcast skies.
The province of Ontario announced that its going under lock down, and some of the measures are controversial such as a ban on camping on crown lands. Grocery stores reduced to 25% capacity, many businesses shut down, yet crown land clear cut logging operations and Amazon warehouses remain open. Many complain the measures are based upon politics rather than science. It would not surprise me to see a violent back lash in cities such as what took place recently in Quebec. People are getting fed up, its going to be a long spring.
I took out the battery from the snowmobile and put them to rest for the summer.

It's 20c and sunny here. Well, the proverbial shit has hit the fan... Being remote and heavily reliant upon tourism, our region has recently seen the covid variants running rampant. Our MLA has successfully talked our top doctor, Dr. Bonnie Henry, into the entire district being mass vaccinated. There are to be 500+ people a day vaccinated starting Monday. Everyone is eligible from 18 and up, providing that you can prove you reside here. I sent my request in for a jab around noon and am waiting to hear back with my date and time. Man this thing is turning even more wicked than I could have ever imagined. I'm absolutely disgusted that this has been allowed to happen due to half measures made by incompetent and corrupt politicians sitting in ivory towers! I just want us all to get our jab sooner rather than later because this is B.S. of the highest order.

I totally identify, Chris. Our govt have behaved in the most diabolical way during this pandemic and i'm sick of it. I've put in for a 'mixed vaccine' trial. I'm not having that astrazenica jab again. Got a slight hunch i had a clot the other night. Four letter words, was that painful. I've been taking aspirin until my peg tract bleeds. Was early hours so was in bed and just sat there not wanting to move and thinking my life is up in the next few minutes. Didn't have phone near me so sat it out terrified. I'm ok now, just a bit worried what with the initial issues with it. There's no way i'm having a second astrazenica. Not that i'm trying to scare people. ~As you say, Chris, we are poorly ones anyway and may react differently.

Suns out again. I wish our temps were higher though. It's not very warm at all and i want to plant up seeds and plant on some plants so i think it's in order for today. Hopefully it will be warmer as the day progresses.

Really nice out today.13c which suits me fine.Walked through the park and lo and behold found the craft market open.Had a quick look then about turned and back through the park to home.It was crammed,or as we say "chokka".Plenty notices up but no one was taking heed of the 2mtr.space.Not many masks either.

I cut a lot of wood yesterday, it was one of those rare days that I actually felt 'well' for a change, good appetite and motility too. Now they are calling for a snowstorm, it doesn't look or feel like it, but it can be seen on the radar. I refused the astrazenica vaccine and opted for the Moderna jab last week. What makes me angry and concerned are how the officials try to divert attention away from the facts to make it appear safe when it is not by stating that the benefits outweigh its risks. We have had several cases of blood clots since they approved its use. I did get some odd headaches after the Moderna jab, but nothing serious.

I had my astra shot around a month ago and have had no signs of any side effects. The cooling weather is causing me some grief with neuropathy in my feet and legs ramping up. We did not receive the expected rain over the weekend but our day temps are closer to 20 than 30c. I am off to the skin cancer clinic this morning for my six monthly check up. I think there will be a few to come off. Ron.

It's been rainy and very windy here. We're currently under heavy cloud cover with a steady drizzle and winds gusting to approximately 90 Kph by my radar gun. The temperature has been near 5c all day. I'm either going to get the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, but still no appointment time... I expect to hear something tomorrow. Take good care everyone.

buff, i would consider anything but Astra although i have heard that others are also suspected of clot forming in some people. These things have been rushed out very quickly and i simply don't trust them. It was so hard for me to actually accept i would have to have one, went for it, and suffered. I don't recommend them, but look at Ron. One month on and no real side effects. It's a weird one. I know what you mean about feeling well for a change. I always notice around 3 days of feeling brilliant and have tied it in with the awakening of the change of season from winter to spring. It feels fab but doesn't last. I will admit though i don't really go back into hibernation mode. It is lovely to have the longer days and bright, warmer weather. (hope you don't mind me saying that, carol, but you know me).

Looking lovely out there. Has been bright sunshine since dawn. Enjoyed my day sorting stuff yesterday and feel i'm in spring clean mode until i drop. Unfortunately that doesn't take too long, but we all know that.

Ron, good luck at the clinic, friend. Let's hope all is as good as possible.

Weather is still beautiful . Mid twenties during the day and 13 c overnight. As expected my skin doc found a couple to remove. Because I am immune suppressed and take warfarin he has a special procedure for me. He removes a shaving for biopsy then he uses diathermy which pretty well cooks everything and stops the bleeding. I seems to work but is quite painful and i don't like the smell of me cooking. Ron.

Of course I don't mind you enjoying the fine weather Di.,It's me who's weird ..We did enjoy a 10ml cycle this morning, even though I got off to a bad start with 10-12 runs to the bathroom and I do mean runs. The good weather looks like it's here to stay and I'm looking forward to wearing summer gear for a change....not sandels and shorts though. Sorry about your procedure at the Docs Ron,but it's better than ignoring your problems eh ? Have you been fishing lately ? Scott and family were camping last week, before the "winter" sets in.

Sorry to hear that, Ron. Hope all goes well. Just went to Daventry for script and didn't take a coat. whoopee. I still had my woolly on and shirt and thermal vest, but i think they're going to have to come off soon. Went into all charity shops and a couple of others and bought a few bits, feeling better for today. Stay positive Ron.

-7C with 25 cms of fresh snow. The snowstorm did not disappoint, it started out suddenly in the evening and went all night. Plenty of power outages, for some reason it stayed on here. The up and down weather is typical at this time of year. I know what you are going through Ron, I have to go to the dermatologist once again in August for 'maintenance'. There are times when my forehead peels like the paint of an old ship.

Lovely and sunny again. I bought more compost soil yesterday. I made such a big mistake buying cheap stuff from aldi. 1, it was full of sticks and mulch and was so disappointed and it weighed a tonne, so yesterday i bought 3 x as much which didn't weigh a tonne and it's fine. So, more seeds and pot ons today. Think i might pop out this afternoon if it stays nice. Not sure where i'll go, but i fancy going out somewhere.

I find going cheap rarely saves me anything, but usually costs more in terms of money or hassle. When I go grocery shopping, I don't look at prices, I look at my list and check things off into the cart, if its on sale that is a bonus. Things are so expensive now so better not look at the prices. Its wintery, I may go for a walk again like yesterday. -14C overnight, -8C now. If we had not lost our snow pack I would be skiing as I often have in the past at this time of year, but each year is different.

It is pouring up north and snowing down south. Much of the coast between Cooktown and Innisfail has had 700mm in the past three days and it is not the wet season. We are in the middle and it is sunny and 31c today. Carol I have not been fishing for nearly two years, my balance is just not good enough. Fishing has always been my emotional safety valve and I admit that I am not doing too well without it Ron.

That's a real shame Ron.I did notice that you hadn't mention your boat for a good while. Maybe you could pal up with a boatless fisherman who could do all the work ?

-2C cloudy. I had to run the snowmobile down the driveway to pack a walkway as I couldn't walk on the heavy snow. Its going to warm up over the next few days so this snow will melt. I enjoy fishing and small game hunting, its relaxing and connects us with nature. I'm sure it helps lower one's blood pressure, and when I am lucky a decent meal.

Beautiful sunshine today. No coat for me to the chemist down the road, and everyone else is in their blouse/shirts and tee's. Hahaha, not yet for me though. My first mr and Mrs Blackbirds are out collecting for their young and no doubt i will see a lot more than that soon. I've bought live mealworms for them again this year. Spoiled little birdies. I picked up my twice weekly covid testing kit from the chemist and i've just noticed it's made in China! whoopee. I bet it all comes up negative.

Ron, would watching youtube videos of fishing just add to the pain of not being able to go fishing? What about a fish tank for calm relaxation? Feeling for you there not being able to go out. My balance is rotten. I think i had a mini stroke some years back. The skin quality is very slack on one side of my body and i do wobble off to my left. I have a few scars from falls and have to use a stick if out. I just can't trust myself so well on my feet these days.

I still have not lost the will to go fishing just the ability. I saw my nephrologist yesterday. He said my condition was in the middle, could be a lot better but I am lucky it is not a lot worse. He is concerned about the increasing number of skin cancers ,says they are definitely related to cyclosporine use, but I can't go off it. He also said that I am showing signs of getting quite low in iron. Probably because i cant eat greens due to the vit k stuffing up my INR. Also I don't eat much red meat anymore. The rain is still falling up north with many towns recording over a meter of rain for April. We had a cloudy day with temps only reaching 22c after 30c the previous day. Ron.

16c and cloudless blue skies. It was a toss up whether to go to the shops or for a bike ride....and the bikes won.Since the lock downs shops are way down the list of things to do.It's just not the same as it was.I did save some cash and I'm not in a rush to spend it.
I haven't even made an apt.for a hair cut yet.I think I need a tonic or as my Nan would say a big dose of jollop....hahaha

Ah Chris,how lovely.Do I need to get a new hat ?
