I@m looking forward to a UK summer, doesn't matter to me how long, lol. Just need warmth and sun.
Yes, Carol, i've got a tumour in the occipital lobe wihich is sight and balance. It's not painful really, just losing my sight daily and hoping when i see the specialist on Thursday they might do something, but there are so many untreated patients for cancer since lockdown i don't think they'll treat me at all. I'll have to wait and see. I don't even know if it's operable. I would say yes to radiation if they offfered it. That would only hold it back a bit. Brain tumours are a nightmare to treat as chemo doesn't pass the blood brain barrier. I'll know more by Thursday. I've booked my transport and got a 9.20 appointment. I'm waiting with trepidation. I keep my phone with me to dial an ambulance if necesssary. My mind and body are fine it's just the tumour.
 
2C Gray and raw. Looks and feels more like April than May. Lots of snow still to go. I am rationing my dry firewood and waiting for the snow to melt enough to start cutting wood. I run the oil furnace during the day, and light the wood furnace for the evenings. If the snow were not so deep in the yard I would start cutting up the big tree than came down by the house, but it is still nearly a full meter deep. The heavy rains held off and flooding didn't take place. Hoping for the best DI that the tumour is slow and can be managed, hang in there.

Crikey, Buff, thats a lot of snow still over there. We're in May and you have a metre? Not sure we have anything to complain about here. You'll be looking forward to using that fallen tree next year no doubt. Sounds as though there could be plenty of water as a meter of snow melts. i don't envy you this spring. Hope you get a nice summer though
 
No real change here thanks Carol. Off to my skin cancer check tomorrow. I can't use my car at the moment it has a few electrical problems so I am walking everywhere. I can't afford cabs and they are just not reliable. I still use my walker . It is not the walking that worries me it is all the hills. I hope they can work out a course of treatment that will help you Di. Hugs to All. Ron.
 
Adult social care offered me a walker, i'm ok with a couple of sticks as i'm up a hill too. Don't think it could cut through the woods either. Fairly wet and breezy out this morning. Hope the cancer checks go ok, Ron. No cabs around this village, they'd have to travel 10 miles anyway which would make them prohibitively expensive for me. I know how you feel about going out and about. Hope it's not too strenuous for you. Not feeling too bad this morning although i do have a headache somewhat. Not that bad though.

I wasn't sure if you'd been dx'd or whether you thought you might have it Di., because of your eyesight prob. and falls.How long ago were you dx'd because if you're already in the system I think you have a better chance of getting seen sooner, Let's hope eh ?
 
Bit of a breeze out today but not too cold. My lawn definitely is in growing mode with dandelions everywhere. They're like little specs of sunshine in amongst the longer grass. I believe we're in for a warmer phase over the coming days. Perhaps time to wash the winter woollies and put the heavy over duvet blankets away this weekend. Looking forward to my appointment tomorrow. Bet he sits there and says nothing can be one. Wouldn't surprise me with the shere backlog of cancer patients.

I love it when the dandelions bloom in spring, and you are right they look like small sunshines. They are the first true colors of summer, and they taste great. I like eatting the mild tasting yellow fluff by itself or with some salad dressing or dip. They are easy to digest for Chronies. My late uncle used to make dandelion wine. Yesterday was sunny and today it will be another sunny day helping to melt the snow. Nights go below freezing and during the day its warm with low humidity, good for a controlled seasonal melt. +5C Clear.
 
Well, i got to my appointment and we know that i have a high grade brain tumour. So, i'm going to have it biopsied soon, i have pre surgery assessment on Saturday and will have the surgery soon after then probably radiation. Hopefully we can save some eyesight. I would be pleased with that.

At the moment we have patchy clouds but the sun is wanting to shine through. Feels like a nice spring day.

Cancer seems to be a lot more common than it was,or maybe it wasn't recognised as such in the old days.The good thing is that treatment is far more advanced than it was even 10yrs ago.......a warm 15c today,almost time to put the wooly-pulleys away.
 
Its good that you have a plan in place, it provides the feeling of being in control of the situation Di. It improves the chance of beating that thing. Another bright warmer sunny day coming up after a cool frosty night. I could hear the falls last night which is a sure sign that the melt is in progress. It will take awhile, there is a lot of snow yet to go. 7C clear with low humidity.
 
Lovely morning so far, except for the stress of no voluntary drivers for appointment tomorrow. I've researched my bus/train/bus times to death and i'm hoping for the best. If only i didn't wobble and have poor sight. Oh, the trials of life. Good news with melatonin as a supplement, the crohns is almost good. Can't believe how lovely it is out there. These warmer sunny days are worth waiting for. Still no sight of my hedgepig though.
 
Di., I can almost feel your stress and worry about tomorrow......could you not ask a neighbour to run you to your appointment ?
Personally,it's not something I would do, but buses and taxis are almost on our doorstep here, and you could really do without all this hassle. I, and I know the guys too,will be with you tomorrow x

I would ask a neighbor for a ride in a situation like this. Make a call to get an estimate for a taxi would be another option. Prices went up overnight and gas is now north of $2 per liter, I feel a recession coming up. Another warm dry sunny day, and the snow is going down. 10C Sunny low humidity.
 
I have been using taxis a bit lately. It is quite funny , nearly all of the drivers are older than me and when they try to help me with the walker and the groceries they are in worse condition than I am. If I wanted to go back to work I have the perfect profile to become a taxi driver. I hope your appointment goes well, hugs Ron.
 
Well I didn't get there due to bus change times that weren't online. Over the road they have changed the times as a forerunner for cutting the bus entirely. Taxi runs at £48 each way. Patient transport wouldn'nt get me there of a weekend as they're too busy with major injuries, neighbours are useless with driving, worryingly so, and couldn't anyway, and no volunteers at all. They will rebook another appointment for me. Today my eyes are as though i'm looking through a letterbox, and everyone and everythng is a midget, no disrespect to midgets. Last night i got no sleep whatsoever, so have just caught up with an hour and a half sleep.

The weather is cloudy with some sun, but rather cold. I'm not bothered by the weather today, i'm just too exhausted and genuinely tired. i think stress is playing a big part in this for me. I need to lighten up a bit now and relax more over this.
 
I should say I don't believe it but sadly,I do. I hope you told them that Saturday apts are impossible for you and you need patient transport.More importantly,I hope you don't have to wait to long.Have you got food in the house Di,. ?
It's a lovely day here,There was a World Labrynth day across at the park, with music and stalls etc. which was nice.It's an international thing for world peace,,,,,,so good luck with that then
 
Blimey, it's cold today. I've put my heating on already, lol. Really drab outside at the moment, but i am hoping it will warm up and glow up outside later.

Carol, i'm learning my online shopping at the moment. Will be useful if my sight can manage it. Hopefully adult social care will send someone for an hour per day and 4 hours once per week to take me shopping or for a quick social. Think it might be to charity shops with my clutter that needs to go. I didn't quite get to do it all.

Had a really good nights sleep last night. First time in a long while. I actually feel a lot better for it. The fest sounds good. We are getting our little music festival back in the village this year so i look forward to hearing it from the garden.
 
Omg, Ron, what's going on down there. You just got over floods. Half of Qld sounds like a really large area. Let's hope some hot weather appears to steam it all off. Don't suppose that will happen at this time of year for you though, a very soggy autumn i think. Poor wildlife again. It's turned out nice here today. Another proper spring day.
 
16c and very pleasant out. There was a foodie festival down in the village today so we walked thru the park to get away from the nose to tail traffic and when we got there.well hells bells it was utter madness.Thousands of people were bustling about,What is it with folk nowadays and food ? Came back through the market and that was almost as bad,but it's the price we pay living in a coastal tourist area. Mind you,it was never like this in the old days except for the beautiful people sunning themselves on the beach.Myself being one of them.But in those days going to the coast was a cheap day out........Ron,I'm really sorry about your forthcoming forecast.Just what you don't need I know......
 
10C Mainly cloudy. Over the past three days a lot of snow has been melting. The rivers are running very high. I clocked the river flowing along side the road at 40 kmhr. I am behind in the firewood effort due to the snow, but its melted down to the point that I can start working on it. The weather forecast is decisively warmer this week, the worst of spring and winter's end is behind us.
 
Carol, Bude was exactly the same. The locals found the tourists to be quite brutal in shoving past everyone to get to see everything. There were always throngs of people around food, beer festivals and the RNLI events. The proms in the park was also well attended and once you'd got the spot on the picnic blanket you wouldn't dare move off otherwise someone else would nick it, lol.
Those tourist places can be a nuisance to live in, but the do need the trade i suppose. We always called them emmits, not that we were Cornish mind.

Looking lovely out again today. Hardly any sleep last night so i suppose i might just miss a good sunny day. But at least we have one. It's probably our summer about to end too, lol.

Rivers flowing at that speed would worry me Buff. Thats quite a speed for heavy water flow. You'll be looking forwards to chopping wood once the water recedes and you can get a saw through drier wood.
 
The meltdown continues, there have been many reports of washed out roads. I was out on the deck, heard a sound and watched the snowmobile move by itself. The snow melted down around the machine leaving it perched up high by the snow underneath that has melted slower, then it slid down the hill as if it wanted to go for one more ride. It will be many months before the snowmobiles run again. If the rain holds off I maybe able to start cutting wood. 10C moderate south wind.
 
The rain has arrived. It's everywhere, far north coast, central coast , out around longreach in the west, the Burnett and Wide bay regions and south to the border. The sunshine coast where I live is expected to receive 200-400 mm early next week. I'm really over it, the maximum we can expect for this month is 30mm. Ron.
 
I don't think so Chris , they have just issued a flood warning for 58% of the state. It is mainly up in the north and the north west at the moment. Two towns ,Tully and Babinda had over 100 mm in an hour this morning. They said the rain event could last 8-10 days and it will gradually move south to our neck of the woods with the same intensity. Ron. You doing ok mate? Ron.
 
Buff. i hope there is no damage to the ski mobile. Doesn't sound good at all. I guess you have to have some lazy days in, a bit like me at the moment.

Ron, sounds worse than Buffs waterlogging. That's got to be a really large area and a very large amount of rainfall. We never really get to see such downpours over here. I think i'm rather pleased.

Bad night's sleep again here, and i've awoken with a temperature too! Wonderful, just what i need. Not been anywhere but the neighbour never wears a mask but does yap on the door step. Hoping it's nothing too much. We're expecting some polite rainfall today, Ron. Stay safe and hope you don't have to bail.
 
12C Cloudy. It stayed well above freezing again overnight and the snow is really going down. The river is very high right now and is about as loud as it gets, the falls must be impressive. No damage to the snowmobile, it only moved a meter or two but it surprised me when it did. Once the snow is gone I will prepare them for summer storage. The rain held off, and the very last thing we need now is rain.
 
Sincerely hoping it doesn't Ron. Thinking of you. Life's difficult enough as it is. We had rain this morning but it has cheered up at least. Going to be nice again soon they say. I'm looking forwards to that too. Hope your autumn is better than just wet flooding weather. Buff, I don't like the sound of fast running water, gives me the scares. Take care.
 
18C Sunny. I started cutting firewood yesterday. That first piece of wood is the start of a long journey to reach the goal of having a comfortable house next winter. It gets longer each year and heavier, but it has to be done or I cannot live here anymore. That is enough incentive to keep pushing. I took a nice break afterwards sitting out on the deck in the sun afterwards. Rain is back in the forecast, we certainly don't need it when pictures of our national highway underwater are on the news.
 
125mm in my town yesterday. Enough breaks that the water did not pour in nonstop. More coming today. A ute with four people was swept away in a flash flood in Townsville . Three made it out with cuts and bruises , the fourth the woman driver was later recovered from the car. The rain is easing in the north but it has migrated to the south of the state. Ron.
 
Buff and Ron.....you both have such a struggle to keep life and soul together and I really feel for you both.All I can say is get through one day at a time, stay strong and keep positive. I really have the Life Of Riley compared with you both and Diane so I will endeavore not to whinge in the future (some hope ).It's a nice warm day here with a mild breeze and maybe showers later,but the washing's dry so I don't care.
 
Yes, thank God we don't have all that rain to contend with. It's wonderful considering we suggest we are a nation that needs umbrellas for all foreigners and ourselves. Our GB nation badge usually has an umbrella with raindrops on yet we get nothing of the rain of Buff and Ron. I'm grateful really. Today is sunny but with a bit of a wind, and i too have some washing on the line. Went to the nurse and gp this morning for B12 and bloods/urine tests, hoping all is not too bad, unlike my dropping wieght. Not even dashing to the loo and it's way down. Hoping it will pick up again very soon. Getting other supplement drinks again too.

Since the big trees came down next door i have a lot more small birds around and about. It's really lovely seeing them flit about to the feeders outside the windows. Grass needs mowing though i must say, i've never had any lawn in the back garden due to the major branches of the trees. It's quite long and healthy. I'll have to get the strimmer out.

Buff, hope the weather allows for easy log chopping this season, but don't overdo it.
 
We had another nice day yesterday and got more work done on the wood pile before rewarding myself by sitting out on the deck to rest. I am glad I brought in dry wood before the rains hit overnight. The driveway to the house is all rutted up from the recent rains, I need another culvert to help divert the water away. Hopefully the weather will break enough for me to cut wood this afternoon before the next rain system arrives.
 
The rain continues. Many areas in SEQ received over 300 mm of rain yesterday. All of the rivers in the SE are on flood watch. Laidley in the Lockyer valley is flooded this morning. The flood siren was sounded in gratham overnight. The Brisbane river is at minor flood levels and rising. I have had water coming in to the unit. So far I have been able to keep on top of it . Unfortunately todays forecast for my area is not good with an additional 150mm of rain possible. Ron.
 
Hoping you don't have to bail out, Ron. Mind, with those astonishing levels of rainfall i wonder just how many folk have to bail out also in Aus. Doesn't bear thinking about. I wish you well, but it must be a constant worry for you. I'm grateful i don't have to live with such regular threats of flooding.

Lovely and sunny out again this morning. I'm going to try a bit of gardening. I have no flowers this year so don't have to keep trekkiing out with watering can which can be a bit of a weight. We're expecting thunder tomorrow and i hope we get some too, i do love a cracking good thunder storm.
 
It rained steadily till lunch time then it poured down till sundown. I did a lot of bailing but it has settled to light rain tonight and I have managed to stay on top of it. My upstairs neighbor called in today. He has been evicted for not paying his rent, he goes in two weeks. Good riddance , he is a drunk, a smart arse and a do gooder. He is always sending people around To "help me out" . I told him tonight if I want help I will ask for it. I won't miss him but goodness knows who will replace him . Ron.
 
Ron would it not be possible for you to move upstairs ? I realise you wouldn't fancy the faff but it would solve the bailing out problem.....Quite mild here but the blustery wind is spoiling it (I'm not whinging of course) We had a nice walk along the sea front and got the bus back,they're every 15mins and we have free passes which we don't use enough.
 
Not possible Carol. I suspect the inside walls would be coated in crystal Meth, the floors are rotten, it has worse mold than my place (if that is possible) . Plus the whole place has been wrecked by his four kids and is in very poor condition. More rain overnight and more water came in. Ron.
 
I would have suggested the same Ron, but if your landlord is happy with you paying your rent for a rotten unit then he'd rather keep you there. I've learned why adult social care aren't turning up to help. On the news there are 4.5 million of us awaiting help. Do you have any kind of adult social care Ron to get you moved. They do carry some weight, but i'm having to wait for my turn for any help.

Beautiful day out this morning although my hands are a little numb even indoors. We await our thunder and heavier downpours later today and a bit tomorrow too. It's a chillier wind out this morning but i'm going to get the woollies out and hope for the best. I'm still waiting for a bus pass myself. I've been out 3 times in 3 months now, it's very depressing now just not going anywhere and with eyes getting worse i won't be going out when blind. No point and too vulnerable.
 
Very nice this morning but now we have what Ron would describe as 'polite' rainfall. Nothing to get excited about and for once i hope i don't have sleep again tonight as we may get a good thunderstorm. I shall feel for all the nested chicks and hope for them. Enjoy the fleeting sun, Ron and i hope you don't get too much more rain next week.

My winter woollies are washed, dried and put away. I'll probably be wearing them next week as it's not August yet.
 
10C The snow is pretty much gone except in the bush on the north side slopes. Temperatures have been in the low 20's over the past few days along with some heavy thunderstorms that created a lot of flooding. Large areas of low lying lands around Red lake and Ft Frances has turned the area into lakes. A child drowned in a creek in Thunder bay which was a raging torrent when it usually is a dry creek bed. We lost more than 6 months worth of snow in just 10 days, and with the rains the land could not take it. No trouble here on the hill other than more washouts on my side road and drive way. I have been cutting wood, but its been slow going.
 
So, no witnessing the super blood moon due to cloud, and no joy of thunderstorm either. On a better note, i actually slept for around 4.5 hours straight.

Eyes weakening badly now and it doesn't help to know that i'm number 4.5 millionth in the queue to get help. Something will pan out i suppose. I have an appointment for pre surgery assessment tomorrow and at last it has come around. It's been a painful wait really, mainly transport has caused it.

Dull and overcast today and of course i've put my clean winter woolly back on lol. It's generally around August that they get put away.

7C cloudy. I went outside to watch the blood moon eclipse but the moon was very low on the eastern horizon during the event and was soon covered by the cloud. What I did notice startled me... the utter absense of peeper frogs. The frogs start their peeping chorus as soon as the snow starts melting and as the creeks open. They should be out and loud by now, but not one. Very strange, it could be due to all the logging which may have created fungal toxins that are fatal to the frogs. I will observe over the coming nights if any frogs appear.
 
Buff, i think all nature is suffering badly, but this spring is weird. Our birds are nesting 3 weeks early this spring. First they've noticed. I wonder if a pole shift is occuring. Keep us informed. I'm always interested.

Off to my appointment today, then i await the actual biopsy. Feeling depressed these passed two days, i think it's my darkening vision although we are expecting the hottest day today. It is sunny out and i'm looking forward to being driven to hospital. I just don't get out anymore other than the village shop occasionally. At least its a lovely day to look out a car window.
 
I know you're dreading your apt. Di., but it will be over by tonight and it means you'll get seen to for once and for all.
Warm and sunny here but I struggle with the masks in good weather.We will continue to wear them though.
Guess what, I got a leaflet through the door today advising me to book early for Christmas, for lunch that is.Honestly you couldn't make it up..........they need reporting
 
10C Sunny. Nice day coming up. Yesterday I made good progress on the firewood effort. Carol, they sure have nerve to be pushing Christmas this early. Its annoying like trying to find winter related items in the store when they are already pushing outdoor patio furniture in February. I hope they can gather enough information during your appointment to form a plan of treatment Di.
 
Was a long appointment with tests galore. I shall have to go back 3 days before the proceedure for covid and blood tests again, they won't let me nip to gp to get them done, so another £30 volunteer driver fee again. Actually they are generally very nice in the hospital.

Sunny with healthy showers today. Not exactly Christmas weather i must say, quite warm out and a slight breeze.
Ron, hope the rain is over for now. Today i was thinking of getting the Xmas tree out.... and selling it with the decorations lol. Probably not the right time of year someone will tell me. Well, nothing like getting in to the spirit of Xmas in May. I can't believe it.
 
I wish Di ,they have forecast 30mm for Friday 60mm for Sat and showers every day for weeks thanks to the SE trade wind pattern that has set in. Every night there are stories on the news of people complaining of mold everywhere. Even one of the cinemas had to close because all the seats went moldy. One of the biggest shopping centres on the north side of Brisbane, Toombul ,has been closed for good and will be demolished due to flood damage. It is very uncomfortable weather with lows around 20c every day and highs from 25-29. The humidity yesterday was 90%. Ron.
 
There will be nothing of Aus left soon Ron. Fancy the buildings getting so much mold that it's dangerous for humans to even demolish it. What weather does to human life and lifestyle is ridiculous. Hope yours isn't too bad. You just don't need that on top of everything.

Had some cracking good thunder and lightening at last yesterday, i really enjoyed it and i'm not going to mention that it was heavy downpours as Ron would laugh at us Brits.

I'm going to have my biopsy on the brain done on the 1st of June and i'm pleased i know where i stand now. Hopefully it's onwards and upwards and they'll offer me radiation or gamma knife stuff once they know what it is etc. Then they might treat me for the ovarian. I'm surprised they're even bothering with me with the massive backlogs, but i'm pleased something is going ahead.
 
6C Gray. Good to hear that you are getting the treatments you need Di, a little bit of hope goes a long ways. I received my forth covid shot and my arm is still soar after two days, that is a good indicator that I am glad I got the shot. I bought a seasoned flattened chicken that looked interesting, but it was rotten. It smelled a bit odd in the package, but it was clear that it was bad as it stank up the house when I put it in the oven. In the end I only had some vegetables for dinner and animals ate the chicken I tossed last night. Going to take in my receipt to get a refund.
 
It's a bleak day here, showers and grey skies, not too cold though. My roses are quite slow this year and the lilac trees haven't done much at all, neither has my wisteria, mind, i gave it a good prune last year. Perhaps i've wrecked it.
Buff i would have given them the chicken back and made them smell it and stink their whole cooked meat counter out. Disappointing when it happens. I've been trying out my slow cooker and managed to completely overcook my jacket potatoes. Finally i think i've sussed how long they need, and it's not all night as some state. Mine were very orange inside and went straight in the bin, lol.
 
2C with snowflurries this morning. It turned cold overnight as the rain finished as snow behind the system is common for this time of year. I got a lot done cutting wood yesterday. Today I may turn to some yard work and store away the snowmobiles for the season.
 
Actually quite a bright day today from what i've seen. Mainly i have been dozy on and off all day. Not got a thing done at all and am probably going to get an early night. The birds have been around the feeders plenty and i've heard quite a few different types. They're getting through sacks this year, costing me afortune. I'me sure i spend more on their food than mine, lol

We certainly achieved the 60mm target for yesterday and bit extra. It rained non stop all of yesterday and last night. It is still raining this morning. We had an election yesterday. The pm and government lost. The pm retained his seat but the treasurer lost his. The labour party won the election but have not achieved a outright majority. Many of the the previous government members lost their seats to indepedents . It all looks a bit messy to me. Ron.

We/ve heard about your election reults, Ron. Does sound messy and i think they're talking about a coalition which i think is always a difficult political situation to work with. Hope it all settles down and you get needed changes brought about with your new PM.
Sunny this morning and not cold at all. We are a bit short on blossoms this year Chris. Roses are lagging behind and many bushes and trees around have not bloomed as they would. Maybe theyr're giving themselves a rest this year.
 
Coolish and breezy but i just needed a light jacket when we walked down to the quay for a look 'round a classic car show.You just cannot beat the old cars.You could nearly always fix them yourself after a run out to the scrap yard for parts, Happy Days.
Chris,you would have enjoyed the motor bikes.There were at least 300 passed us on our walk down the bank.The noise of the engines and the smell made me quite emotional.Lots of classics too.
 
5C Partly cloudy, frost again last night. I moved the snowmobiles to their summer storage area and took a day off from wood cutting. The nephew called and told me about the big storm that rolled through as he got his generator going. Power will be off for days, but he's got lots of fuel. It was a bad storm that rolled through the southern part of the province killing at least 5. Ron, from the sounds of the election outcome it sounds like the cost of living will be going through the roof as it has done here since the liberals took power, not good.
 
Sounds really interesting Carol. I used to love the old crocks run from London to Brighton each August when we lived in Hove. I too preferred the old mechanical cars rather than the costs a fortune to fix it these days ones with their high tech high spec technology. I can't even change a light bulb now. Ah, the good old days were definitely best. Everything was simpler and better then today's more complex everything.

Chris,you would have enjoyed the motor bikes.There were at least 300 passed us on our walk down the bank.The noise of the engines and the smell made me quite emotional.Lots of classics too.

13C Mainly sunny. A warmer day coming up. I got up, made a big breakfast and am running the laundry and will hang it out on the line later this morning. I cleared the trail and spent some time at the cabin doing some spring cleanup. Going to cut wood later on. I like the older cars for simplicity. My truck is older and does not have the electronics of today's vehicles. When I rent a car on a trip, it like a computer console on wheels with all the electronics. I prefer knobs and controls for their ease of use and fewer distractions. The storm on Saturday left a long trail of damage with at least 9 dead. Fortunately for family there was little damage, but they expect to run their generators for days before power is restored.

Nice day coming up sunny 15C already this morning. They are still cleaning up after the storm in the south in Ontario, after all the news about power outages the real sobering pictures and stories of the storm are coming in. The damage is incredible, my niece lost the whole roof of their house on the farm, the barn received some damage too. Everyone will be on their generators for days to come, but the outages are nothing when compared to the damage inflicted by the the derecho that went through. The death count is up to ten now.
 
12c with sunshine and intermittent heavy showers......Buff,I've been catching up on a TV drama from over your way. Cavendish ? I'm quite enjoying it,especially the episodes shot during winter.£ft of snow on top of parked cars and vast frozen lakes. I think it's in Algonquin Bay but i don't suppose it's really there.
 
Sunny with heavier showers today. Not managed to get anything much done today. I always find it disappointing when i don't get that to do list done. I should understand my health better, but i think we all think we'er 18 year olds really. I'm definitely not an 18 year old lol. Canadian weather looking rough at the moment. Stay safe Buff and Chris.
 
we have had heavy showers overnight and this morning. All of the lawn at the front of the units is a dead slimy mess. We are expecting a couple of dry days towards the end of this week and more rains by the weekend. My thoughts are with the people of Ontario. Ron.
