What is YOUR weather like today??

Chilly here. We had a soft frost overnight. I'm hoping for a good, hard frost to kill all the wasps and other bugs. It should warm up during the day, so we're in for another sunny mild day.

I know what you mean. Every time my dog goes out she brings in another bee or wasp in the two seconds the door is opened. Unfortunately, it is going to be warm here again today. But fall is lurking, I can feel it in my bones! (Literally.)

ANOTHER miserable damp day !!! Woke to the mournful sound of the foghorn calling from the lighthouse at the mouth of the Tyne. We've had a week of it, while the south basks in sunshine.

Ducky, you remind me of somebody. I like your style.
Carol, I'll send you a little sunshine if you send a little coolness. Even if a little damp. Approaching ninety degrees again for the zillionth day in a row, it seems like.

I used to call my ex, David, "Davey Duck." He didn't like it much, but then, I didn't like him much in the end. You're a lot more colorful.
I also call my current and forever hubby, Doug, Dougy long legs (like a daddy long leg spider), because he has such long legs. He didn't like it much either, but I like him, and he's stuck with me.

Ok, enough jabber, back to the weather, whether we like it or not

Very very windy

Oh wait htat's me

Was quite a nice day, didn't see it because I spent all day indoors feeling very sick

ANOTHER horrible, depressing, grey and very damp day.
It's been over a week since we saw blue sky. Where's my valium ? hahaha

Very foggy down here, Oh, wait, no that's me! Who cares what the weather is outside, I'm feeling gloomy and bleak. Not a good day. loo, bed, loo, bed. Oh well, tomorrow could be good, or at least better.

It was 35F this morning and the tops of the grasses were frosty.Too early for that.Where is the 'extend Fall, delay Winter' request form?

It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring, he went to bed, and bumped his head, and couldn't get up in the morning

We actually had a quick rain burst this morning, sunny but cloudy now. I agree it's cold here in England, and my fingers are going completely numb and I have to stare at the keyboard to see me typing as I can't feel the tips much at all.

It was in the mid 30's last night.Br,r,r,r..a nice morning all the same, another blue sky day in the upper 60's on tap for today, according to NOAA.

Right now it is cloudy and mild here, around 57. It shouldn't warm up too much, maybe reaching 68F later. Yesterday was a perfect fall day, sunny and high around 73.

Haven't poked my head out the door yet, but here in Miami, it looks pretty nice! A bit cloudy and it looks like we had rain overnight. I'm sure humidity is pretty high. So not a good hair day : ) But overall, very nice!

My dog thinks it is good cat chasing weather (a neighbor's cat keeps trying to make friends in our back yard). It is a beautiful 71° out there at the moment.

Mid twenties c with some very light occasional showers. Lots of people living with only tank water having to buy water. Ron.

lovely day here in Cobh (cove) 19c and sunshine , best sept we have had in a long time .

It was a lovely morning followed by heavy rain at lunchtime , dull now and dry

at least that's what I can see through the window

It's actually rather warm here, almost too hot. My son had the first football game of the day, so I'm glad about that, but he was still so sweaty under his pads. A heart breaker, too, with the other team scoring a touchdown in the last minute to tie the game.

I got up at 5:30 this morning and it was already 61F! Today is suppose to be in the upper 80's and humid.

Still no serious rain , they are predicting mid thirty c for wed thurs this week. Oh joy , early summer. best get the fans out of storage.. Ron.

After a rather unseasonably hot weekend, today it is much more fall-like and cooler. My favorite weather!

Far too warm again. After washing up,cleaning the cooker hob and cleaning the bath (after hubby) my hair is clinging damply to my forehead. If the weather stays like this for much longer I'll have to hire a housekeeper. hahaha

Warm again, and far too warm during the night.PHEW !!!!

I got quite excited when it started to rain 5mins. ago-------- but it stopped

33c yesterday, 24c today go figure. Every day when I get up I look in the crystal ball to see what to wear. ps 24c = happy. Ron.

We have a cool and foggy morning here, but it should warm up a little to the low 60s with intermittent drizzling.

Hot and humid with some scattered cloud coverage this morning here in south Florida. But it'll end up raining later today, it always does! ;) Crazy storms here lately. They've been very severe with lots of flooding.

Oh, Sandy, I sure wish it was snowing, although I know the odds of that happening this far south are slim to none! (Granted, I believe Miami has experienced snow before, but that was years before I ever moved here lol) I'm originally from Maryland, and I have to say I miss the seasons.

And in reference to my previous post, it did indeed end up raining. 90 degrees by 4 PM and rained for a brief moment shortly after.

66f overcast and breezy.
Rain,wind and a drop in temp.tomorrow.

does that mean I can wear my Parka at long last,we'll see.

Cold, wet and breezy. Parka is drying off between dog walks.

Not that dog was overjoyed to be out,I have to say.
He had a face like a smacked bum.

A drizzly and cold 54F. The forecast for the next few days they say.I hope the rain doesn't strip the trees for the leaf peepers that come for the foliage.

Northerly winds, very hot and it makes everyone agro. I tried do a lot of little catch up odd jobs at home today. I spent most of the day spitting the dummy when things would not go right. Now I am tired but I don't want to go to bed because I know I'm going to wake in a panic thanks to pulmonary oedema cutting my wind off. Not a happy Ron.

Well, it was a bit too warm for flurries. It was 37F when we woke up this morning, but the wind chill is 0F. This is probably the only time I'm happy my son has the late football game! It should "warm up" to the upper 40s.

Spooky, our winter here is crazy long. I actually like winter, but come late January I'll be ready for a break! I just hope this year, January and February are better than last year. Last year, we had 6 days of schools closed due to extreme cold. Since I've lived here (1995) we've only had one other day with schools closed due to cold.

Ron, if it makes you feel any better I'm ornery from my own set of lung problems (pluerisy and pulmonary embolism) today also. I put this "screensaver" affirmation on my phone a couple weeks ago, and sometimes it helps. Hope it gives you an ounce of fresh air anyway.

It's down to 44° here at the moment, but supposed to be getting warmer as the week goes by.

I imagine your winter is similar in length, hawkeye!

Another cool day. I hope the wind dies down.

Yes you are right, snow usually comes in November and lasts until April. Have had flurries on October 30th one year and into May other years

It's been warm this year into late September

Raining here today, pouring actually, and 16 Celsius

Today was absolutely beautiful! Mid to upper 70s all day. Temperature peaked at 82 for about and hour, then dropped. Clear skies too! It was as close to a "crisp autumn day" that I think I'm gonna get down here! ;)

Low to mid thirties c no rain , hot northerly wind, not nice. It was the finals of the Rugby league in Sydney yesterday . The early games were played in 35 c temps. To hell with that I think I would have grabbed my ball and gone home. Russell Crowe owns a team in the Sydney comp and his team won. It includes all of the Burgess family from England. They were happy boys except for Sam who copped a fractured cheek bone in the first tackle. He played the 80 minutes with it. tough boys. Ron.

Well, the rain and gales are back! My bird table was over, bird feeders all over the place and lots of leaves and smaller branches strewn over the place. Not to bad today though.

Expected to get to a high of lower seventies today. I can live with that. :)
We, too, usually have some snow on the ground from November to early April. We may be a desert, but we are a high altitude (hence colder) desert where we live. Unfortunately, we can have the other extremes also. Several summer days over 100° F.

Sunshine and the odd shower. I put the spring/autumn quilt on the bed but was a tad too warm last night. No doubt I'll be glad of it soon enough.

Rough, strong gales & extremely heavy showers with thunder & lightening. Horrible tbh. I live very near the coast & the sea is looking very angry. Hate to think we'll have another winter like the last one but the last few days have mirrored it.
Grant

Another lovely morning here.Just back from the beach with Hubs and the dog and the sea is flat calm.I think it must have be rough though because there's mountains of seaweed piled up under the cliffs.Clouding over now.

Very sunny today, and I agree with Grant, I think we are heading for another of those really bad storms, calm, storms for every other day this coming winter.

went fishing yesterday. Beautiful morning , hot day. Used a bucket of sunscreen. Immuno suppressants really make you sun sensitive. Got some fish but I was feeling good so I didn't keep any just let em go. Still hot ,still no rain. Ron.
