What is YOUR weather like today??

Very hot and very humid. Oh, and overcast with a chance of thunderstorms this evening. I hope not. It is the last soccer game of the season for one of my son's teams, and we were hoping to have a party afterwards at the playground. I just really hope it isn't cancelled. They had 4 games cancelled this season due to thunderstorms or flooded fields.

Three days ago they predicted three days of rain. Not a drop. back to clear sunny skies. The tourists from overseas think we are blessed with our weather. We have been having outbreaks of bushfires . everything is so dry. I hate to think what the approaching summer will bring.. Ron.

OMG! I have to complain its way to hot and humid. Yesterday and today my blood pressure is sky high. now going to get a 24 hour gadget to suss what's happening. Can't believe I'm in agreement with you, Scottsma.

I can't believe it's you complaining about the heat D., It must be really bad down there.:(
Up here on the East coast it's overcast.Still warm, but no blazing sunshine.
It's even hot in Scotland. That and the beloved Scottish Midge,oh my !! it must be unbearable. :eek2:

Very hot on the south coast, very dry as well. We haven't seen decent rainfall for a couple of months. We were promised it last weekend & not a drop to be seen.
Temp hovering around 30.C & its been 27-30.C for the last 10days or so.

take care of that bp mate it is no good for us . I have been hovering around 190/120 for the past month. I thought it must be that the cyclosporine was not working, but we put it down to pain flres from psoriatic arthritis and spondylitis. My doc upped my targin and for the two days since I have been 120/80 . Hugs ron. PS still no rain and it is starting to warm up. They are predicting 28c today.

Cooler up here in the North but still much too warm for me.
Farmers are getting their crops in.I wonder what they'll find to whinge about this year ?

Apologise to any farmers reading this, nothing personal.

Warn again, but a lovely breeze off the sea. There are thousands down at the coast and not a parking space to be had for miles.Still, the weather being what it is you can't blame people for making the most of it.It won't last, trust me. (I hope)

I have been getting some of your weather first hand watching the commonwealth games.. Ron.

How's the water situation Ron ? Our son is in the Kalgoorlie area and he's complaining about the cold. He's gone soft since he emigrated 15yrs ago.

Very warm again today, cloudless skies and a useless breeze.

Around 15mm for the month. Not good. Rural firebrigades are desperately try to burn off some of the dry undergrowth before the temps really start to warm up. It is strange around where I live the springs are starting to flow. Apparently the clay dries out and cracks underground allowing some of the underground water to rise to the surface. The old timers always reckon that when the springs start flowing in a drought , you can expect rain. I will believe it when I see it... Ron.

A beautiful afternoon, sunny and in the mid 70's with little humidity.Considering the thunder and lighting storms that hammered us last night...a very nice day.

Hot...really hot - 27 degrees Celsius no rain in sight (which I suppose is a good thing seeing as it rains here for 5 months and everyone complains that its raining).

It's another nice day in Utah. It's usually much hotter in Utah this time of year, but right now it's 70°. I'll take that kind of weather.

Well so much for the old timers and their springs theory. Blown away by the tradies and their busted water main theory. No more water running down the driveway at home or at work. Ron.

Cool and windy. Some ufo's sighted just off the coast ,one informed source said they may have been clouds. Bit far fetched...... Ron

Hottest summer (july, august so far) in 50 years up here in the arctic circle. +30 C at the moment. One month of constant sunshine, day and night and hot temps! So its been good... All this after coldest june in 40 years :)

We've had a milder than usual summer so far. Today is warm, probably will top out around 80F, and it is sunny. As is typical for this time of year, we haven't had much rain recently.

It's beautiful here again, but just a short distance away where it rained a lot harder (we had just a couple sprinkles), a mudslide took out one house at least and threatened several others. Personally, I think where the houses were built put them at risk but I still feel bad for the homeowners.

It should be lovely here, too, but I woke up with a migraine, so it won't matter what the weather is.

Yes, i'm in a fluster due to me feeling ill during this lovely weather. Perhaps its the high blood pressure. I simply don't know what to do with myself. The hot weather is making me feel worse, I swear. Only thing is, my circulation is better than normal at he moment. No numb and completely white fingers/hands at the moment. Unless I go into the supermarket.

Effen freezing here tonight. I've been burning two logs together in the fire and the temp is only 18'c inside. There's snow on the hills outside. It's rare for Wellington to get snow.

Carol, I think there might just be rain, and the air might blow us about a bit too! I think the worst will be going through the English channel then cutting up the SE somewhat.
Today is better, it's overcast and cool.

Aura, there is snow in some northern hemisphere places, at least there was in July. These earth changes have us all questioning the planet and her activities.

There are bushfires burning in Queensland and New South wales already. I think they are all under control but it is still mid winter. They don't normally start till late spring. Still no rain and very little prospects for any.. ron

I just said to Aura in NZ, the changes are amazing. The weather is now shocking the whole world. she is effen freezin' and your not supposed to be hot enough for bush fires yet. Strange. Oh, and yes, Britain has had two hot spells over the last two summers, unusual;-)

Yeah, what is with this weather? It's still beautiful here, and it's supposed to be the miserably hot time of summer here in Utah. It makes it hard to stay ornery. :)

Heavy showers for the last two days. did get to see the supermoon though.

@Linda, I thought Minnesota was supposed to be hot, hot, hot, at this time of year.

They were predicting a large rain event for Queensland this week . Unfortunately it looks like it may be cancelled due to the weather.... Ron.

We have had a pattern of nice weather from morning until early afternoon. Then it pours like hell off and on for for an hour or so.The skies then clear, the sun comes back out and the humidity and deer flies are plentiful.

It's been like this for 3-4 weeks. The storms have been major thunder and lightning storms too,not just drizzly afternoons. WTF.

Grey and windy...sounds like the name of a senior group of who play reed instruments.:) Second week of August and the mornings already have that Autumn feel.Have to get the firewood in soon.Good thing fistulas and setons don't slow me down doing that.:ylol2:

I swear I can feel SAD coming on. Tis a month early, but even my moggies are behaving as though summer has ended. This feeling shouldn't be here for a month, yet it definitely is.

windy and grey.... Just like Scottsma's weather.

We had quite the thunderstorm move through here last night, including one very loud crashing boom delivered at the same time as our pizza. Cool and grey today.

Hi guys from New Zealand we in the middle of winter brrrr ATM we got rain hail 120 k winds that's in the far south bottom of nz where I live

Hi yup I know what that feels like it bitterly cold here we had no snow but being near the coast Invercargill we got the high winds Gail just yuck :)

calm, cooler and overcast. No complaints from me.

What's everybodys fave or hated weather or time of year.?

I love Spring,it's full of promise, don't like Summer much, too many reasons, love early Autumn but HATE the run up to Xmas and Xmas itself.

pissing it down out there. I love Spring, Summer and Autumn, and I also love the run up to Xmas. After the glitz and fun of Xmas I just feel doomed until March.

Had a couple of showers overnight, expecting more tomorrow and Sunday. I like dull overcast cool days. It keeps me in my comfort zone and suits my mood. Ron.

It's getting too hot here again. I don't do heat. I like cold. Cool, crisp fall is by far my favorite, before it gets to hectic with holiday season tho.

I don't like wind since our roof was blown off, but I'll take the cool and overcast. It's a little too warm for my taste here.

Well the rain has gone ,back to clear blue skies. They had predicted around 150-200 mm. we got about 50mm max. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick but certainly not drought breaking. Ron.

Beautiful day with blue skies, nice and cool and dry.Feels too much like Fall weather to me!:eek2: Who wants to come throw my firewood into the cellar?

Heavy showers for the last two days. did get to see the supermoon though.

@Linda, I thought Minnesota was supposed to be hot, hot, hot, at this time of year.

Sorry I'm late responding to this, I was in South Dakota on vacation. We're usually pretty hot this time of year, but it seems like this year, at least, our weather is turned inside out. Super cold in February, flooding in June, now cool weather. It is still pretty cool here, now. And South Dakota was much cooler and wet than normal for this time of year!
