Another lovely day,cloudless sky.

According to todays paper we're to get a few more days of 20-22c next weekend, and no really cold weather until January !!! Might be wet and windy though, there's always a catch.

Yesterday was absolutely a perfect day, and we're in for another one today! Sunny, cool, but not too cool, and crisp. The best weather, in my opinion!

Monday night. They said it should be pouring. Stars everywhere, not a cloud in sight. Another hot day and expecting more tomorrow. They say to expect storms but the clouds gather and just burn off. Oh ! Wait I hear the sound of distant thunder . there again it could be a train going thru town. Damm... Ron.

We're having gorgeous weather here. Yesterday was fabulous and today and tomorrow should be, too. Warmer than normal for this time of year, sunny and crisp. I love it!

55° f, or about 12, 13° c. A beautiful day. We're supposed to have a warm streak in a few days, but I want it to just stay the way it is.

We had absolutely beautiful weather today. Sunny and 70F. The kids are off from school for fall break, so we enjoyed the apple orchard. Tomorrow we should be at more seasonable temperatures.

Sunny and warm, not natural for this time of year.
But I absolutely refuse to get my summer clothing out again.
Having said that,by the end of January I do tend to look longingly at them.

Far too warm during the night,15c. Don't the powers that be know I've changed the summer quilt for the Autumn one ???

Today is 18c,I mean, come ooooon !!!! It's mid October for goodness sake.

We're back to the more normal weather for this time of year. Right now it is 39F, it should get up to the low 50s.

Sunny with warm breeze. Quite nice really, expecting tail end of Gonzalo tomorrow and Tuesday. that should bring some leaves down and make it feel like autumn.

We're at the normal weather for this area for this time of year today. Highs should be in the low 50s F. But then we get back to warmer than normal. This has been a great October so far. It is all lulling us into a false sense of security, then January will come and it will be too cold to breathe outside!

We are having a mild end of October after a couple very cold weeks. It is 43F at 8a.m. and a nice day on tap.I am pleased I have some extra time to get ready for Winter. The woods almost in and the plow truck and snowblower are ready.

A town just to the north of us, Gympie, topped 41c today. Fire brigades are on high alert with strong northerly winds. Had a massive electrical storm last night with thousands of lightning strikes. Kept most of the firies busy.

Far too warm for the time of year,18-20c.It's not natural I tell you.
But I expect Ron would appreciate it eh ?

Quite breezy though, and rain expected this afternoon.

Grim again. Seems Scottsma is having better weather than down south west. Would love to experience one night of Ron's weather though. I love thunderstorms. Sincerely hope no damage was done though. Stay safe, Ron.

A LOT cooler during the night and early this morning.Plenty of autumnal sunshine and about 10c now (2-30 pm). No complaints from me.

Cold and windy here. All the kids will have to wear coats over their costumes tonight for Trick or Treating.

Hot and half the country seems to be on fire. Total rainfall for the month where I live was 8 mm and some very brown countryside. Ron.

Warm again, but clouding over so MAYBE rain later !

I've got all the windows open and the back door and the washings out.

Who said "It's grim up North" ?

Crisp, sunny and cold, about 38F. This is the first year for a long time that we didn't have any snow in October. I hope it stays away for a few more weeks, as we need to fix our garage door, so I've been parking outside.

It's actually pretty mild outside. It is currently in the low 40sF, but should get to around 50F by this afternoon.

Sunny and 7 degrees in Sylvan Lake, Alberta! Yesterday it got to 12 and it even rained. Lol. Um... it's after Halloween! It should be snow time. But I'm not complaining. As soon as the weather turns, I'm headed back to Vancouver. ;)

cold and rainy ......... Have got my tights ( winter pantyhose) on, and t-shirt under my sweater for the first time,if anybody wants to know.

They will now be on until Spring, except for a quick rinse under the tap (faucet) occasionally.hahaha

Scottsma, I have had loads more than that on virtually all year. I'm adding more layers too. I shall stay that way until next July.

Rain, wind and very grey out there today, but the starlings have returned to scoff all the bird seed. Noisy buggers.

Another cold, dreary day. We should get our first flakes of the season over the weekend and measurable snow is possible on Monday.

You must look like the "Michelin X Man" Diane. But as long as you keep warm, who cares ?

We've had starlings on our feeders all year,I do love them but I might have to get a job to keep up with the feeding.

We've had quite a lot of geese passing over head in the last week.Heading your way.My heart gives a little flutter every time.Love them :thumleft:

Horrible wet morning, but back into double figures.
It's ok now that I've walked the dog and been to the shops.Typical.!!!

Snow, with more snow until Tuesday afternoon. Also windy. A perfect day to stay home and avoid the crazy drivers.

Wet and drab out.
All my favourite birds vanished early this year, Scottsma. I have an abundance of big birds like turns, jackdaws, rooks and crows, and of course a couple of magpies. Believe me they don't sing sweetly. The blackbirds did a vanishing act all together (or is that altogether) lol.

We have all the big birds in abundance as we live opposite a Victorian park, but they seem to come at different times.I heard blue-tits in the tree at 6am today.

Just cold here, but tonight we are expecting canyon winds from 60 to 70 mph. I'm very afraid of the canyon winds because of a wind storm a couple or three years ago that blew about one third of our roof off, including the plywood sheathing underneath. That is only a small piece of the story ....

We got mostly ice yesterday, now it is snowing. It should stop soon, but blowing winds make shoveling pretty useless. Colder today and getting colder. Winter has started, I guess.

A damp day in the mid 30's. I am thankful there is no white stuff yet, trying to forget last winter.

All the long term forecasts I've seen so far say we're going to have another long, hard winter. I just hope they don't cancel school as often as they did last year! This is Minnesota, for crying out loud. Canceling school due to cold is for wimpy southern kids :p:shifty-t:

Still cold here. It is 16° F, but with wind chill and humidity it is a "feels like" temperature of -2° F. Brrrrr!

All's calm here Diane. Very still, not too cold, and the sun is trying to make an appearance.

But I think it's going downhill tomorrow

No thanks we are having our first heat wave of the year. temps are expected to hover around 36c for the next four or five days and may even get as high as 40 c. There is a strong northerly wind and combined with the total lack of any rain let alone decent rain the whole of Queensland has been put in a state of emergency for the coming week. There are some twenty fires already burning in the state including some rare ones in the tropical rainforests. We have a prime minister who does not believe in global warming , I hope he takes a long walk outside at midday on sunday without a hat. He may just cook some sense into his 1940's brain. Ron.

I don't know how you bear it Ron !!! 16 -18c is enough for me.

I remember getting out of an air conned car in Perth and it was like climbing into a furnace. At least if you're cold you can keep warm somehow or other.

Keep safe.

I'd rather be super cold than that hot, Ron! We're officially in unofficial winter. Flurries today, with winds picking up. Temps won't get above freezing for a while.

Linda there is something delightfully inviting about a snow flurry. It just sounds so cool, The English language so wonderfully descriptive. I don't have to strain my brain at all to picture a snow flurry. I want one. Ron.

I personally love flurries, as long as I don't have to do too much driving. They seem very peaceful and gentle to me. And it has to be warm enough to snow for flurries to exist, which is always a plus here.
