What is YOUR weather like today??

That is sad, Ron! Water can be so powerful.
The weather cast yesterday turned out totally wrong. It was much too warm today for snow, and we only had a minor amount of rain. Cold front is moving in tonight, tho, and now they are saying a few inches only tomorrow. Everyone here is complaining about winter seeming so long, but at least we have had storms at regular intervals to keep the air clean. And we have had more (and much needed) snow pack in the mountains for our too low reservoirs in the spring. It has been a good winter.:)

Massive storms all over SEQ overnight. Two people struck my lightning , both recovering in hospital. A third was beside a tree that was struck by lightning. It fell on him and killed him. More hot weather and storms over the next four or five days. east Brisbane is expecting 38c on Tuesday and west Brisbane 39c. I don't want to play this silly game anymore, this heat is killing me. By each evening I have full on D and with the oxycodone taper it is safer not to take anything to stop it. The cyclone in the west is crossing the Pilbara coast tonight. Ron.

Beautiful day today. I have three daffs and a few more crocus out. Lots of blossom on trees too. the seasons really are muddled. Bit envious of you there Mandy, I never get to experience thunder and lightening. Doesn't happen enough here. Right jealous of Ron's storms too.

Stay safe in Aus.

Temps are starting to knock me around. BP yesterday was 147/100 this morning it was 167/115. Can't quite understand that when I take5 BP meds a day. It is raining this morning and hot. Sydney had some wild storms yesterday as well. This is November weather not late jan weather. If anything we should be worried about cyclones not thunder storms. The cyclone season runs from Nov thru to April. Cyclone Stan in Wa is the first of the Australian season. It crossed the Pilbara coast last night at around cat3.
I hope they are wrong with their forecast of temps in the high thirties for Tuesday and wed. If we get storms at those temps they will almost certainly be supercells and very destructive. Ron.

Very hot overnight , overcast morning. Expecting mid thirties and high humidity. BP was 128/88 this morning yet nothing has changed. I really don't understand the fluctuations. 167/115 yesterday and 128/88 today when nothing else has changed. I am not looking forward to the extreme temps forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.Ron

Those fluctuations have to be as hard on the body as much as just high BP is, or more.:eek2:
Yay! We had snow here!

Very hot day .It was 34c with 58% humidity The weather people said that there was a heat/ humidity ratio similar to cold and wind chill . They said todays 34c with 58% humidity was equivalent to 42c. I believe it . It is supposed to be around 38c tomorrow again with high humidity. Ron.

-14C no wind but rather cloudy. Going to clean the chimney today as the fire has been a bit slow of late. Might be a good day for a crosscountry ski later if I'm up to it.

Wind around Utah as well. In fact, steady wind and snow all night with crazy 50-60 mph wind gusts coming out of the canyons we are basically at the base of quite often. 😨Glad the wind and snow had slowed down by the time I had to take my vehicle in for some scheduled maintenance (safety recall). Whew!

Got to 36 here 39c in west Brisbane combined with high humidity. Can't remember living thru a worse day and to cap it off I had a hot flush this afternoon. I didn't know if I would melt pass out or both. Ron.

Ah Ron,that's awful, bless you. I would send you hugs but I don't think that's what you need in that heat.

6c here, very windy, making it feel colder, but plenty sunshine.
Sending you a chilly breeze Ron.

It is supposed to be a little cooler for a few days ,only 30c ,but very high humidity. saw my neph yesterday. I rang him last week because I was out of nsaids . He thinks that is contributing to my BP. I went off them on Sunday. Today I was 128/68. He thinks I am probably as good as I am going to get so I just have to get used to feeling off most of the time. It is clear and sunny this morning. It is supposed to be raining. Ron.

Hi Ron, nsaids definitely can have an effect on blood pressure. See http://www.m.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/high-blood-pressure-medication-safety for a little more info, or just Google "nsaids and blood pressure." I've been researching this and other meds as I feel like a walking pharmacy, and know that all this has been hard on my gut. :( I'm thinking of switching my main doctor to someone who takes a more holistic approach.
We've made it clear up to 25°F (or -4°C) which is about as warm as it's going to get today. As I've said before, I wish I could send you some of this cool air.

Another stinking hot day, temps around 31c but humidity up to 81 % . I feel like I should be taking a bucket of deodorant to work. We had a series of three storms this afternoon starting just after midday. It felt like breathing in water. Very hard to maintain any interest in work when your glasses are sliding down your nose on a river of sweat. Just after lunch I had to go out to the car and grab a towel it was so bad. Same tomorrow but the humidity should drop Friday . It is nearly ten PM and the temp is at 26c and the humidity 90%. Great for sleeping Ron.

Cool, bright and breezy.Have been for a cycle and may have worn too many layers.
It's hard to get clothing right.
Ron,that last BP reading isn't to bad if it stays at that.Nsaids made my BP shoot up,even on 2 twice daily.I've been on Tramadol for about 6mnths and it's the lowest it's ever been.Last one was 115/64.I usually take it weekly on the home machine.

My neph gets me to take BP and BS every morning Carol. I ran out of naproxyn last Saturday. BP this morning was 132 /102 so my lower reading has jumped up again even without nsaids. I will stay off them till I next see him and see what happens. It was really hard to sleep last night with the humidity. I am sleeping without even a sheet and a fan on me all night. It is hot already this morning and there is a low overcast that will most likely burn off by lunch time. Ron.

Oh Ron lad you need to come live over here. You would never be too hot again. Even in mid summer its usualy bloody frezzing lol. Or at least it would certainly feel that way to you mate. . Keep that BP on the good side ok Ron.. take care 💕

I'm sure the heat doesn't help the BP either, Ron.
I was going to complain about the cold here when I got up this morning at about seven (12°f), but then I heard that where my sister lives in Ely, NV it was -16°F, or -27°C). Brrrrrrr! 😨 She lives only about 3-4 hours from here (but over a relatively smallish mountain range to the southwest and at a higher elevation).

Wet windy rain can feel quite cold at those temps, Mandy. Tho our temps here are colder technically, I'd still rather have our temps and snow because we don't get soaked to the bone. I guess it's all relative. 15°F at present, but it's only 3:30 am. (Awake because of trip to the bathroom and to let the dog out three times. Does anybody want a dog? )

Another humid day. Got a new clutch in the ute today. It is terrible what you get used to driving, feels like a new car. It reached 30c again today with 80% humidity. It has dropped to 23 c this evening but still 80% humidity. Getting heat rash everywhere. time for bed hope it is better than last night, wall to wall bad dreams. Ron.

10c at mo damp winds have dropped here too .. Sandy ye il have Allie post her over hun. Im off to buy a lead now 😆🐶

She's in the mail. She's been sleeping quite soundly all night since she woke me up, and most of the day. She seemed to know to take care of business before it snowed again. (I swear, it has snowed more this year than the last five combined.)

Crickey thou has had a lot of snow there then. Just you both be careful out in it, no accidents or falls please if you don't mind.😘

Sorry, I decided I can't live without the little monster. And she's so ugly she's cute. I'll send some snow instead.

Aw gutted Sandy😢 but i must say i really dont blame you.. she is no way ugly she is just cute.
Ok snow it is hun. Il build a snow dog .☺
8c n damp ...oh that sounds familiar.😕

Be just your luck to get sued when your snow dog bites some one. Humid and showers here. Spent most of the afternoon in bed ,seemed like the most productive thing to do. Ron.

Oh to true Ron. You have heard about my luck then !!! If it wasnt for bad luck id have no luck at all... lol 😆
Afternoon in bed very productive Ron saved you having to wash the clothes you would have worn had you got up. Good job done there mate ☺☺

Yes Mandy I have become a firm believer in the conservation of energy ,,,mainly mine because I don't seem to have much to spare Hugs Ron.

I'm so bored at work today.. and still two hours to go.. then i'm on call all weekend. of course the weather is supposed to get to 50f tomorrow.. It's 38 right now.. and I'm stuck inside..

37f with a high of 54f. Glad there's no rain in the forecast but they've been wrong once or twice in the past.

29c and still plenty of humidity. heap of rain in central Qld .Two people drowned. One was an old farmer mustering his cattle on horseback to a higher paddock away from the flood. Sadly his horse drowned as well. How sad is that. Ron.

Decided I'm not going to report on our weather until it stops being boring......oh,go on then,6c fine and dry with a brisk breeze and clouding over somewhat since I started this post

BP yesterday was 152/90 today 120/70. I should feel great but I have had no energy and D all day now the droids are playing up. Life is a pain in the butt. 28c and cloudy most of the day. I'm tired but not sleepy. Guess I had better try , work tomorrow, Ron.

Mostly sunny high twenty c's. I think we will be in for another heatwave tho. 42c forecast for Perth for the next four days. Already they are on fire again in the South west with a serious fire threatening lives and property. What they get this week we usually get next week. Central and north Qld are still getting rain and floods. Ron.

Sun at the moment, but windy with much rain expected. Will get my waders on, lol. the birds in the garden already have wellington boots on. The fish in the pond have no worries.

Temps will consistently have a high in the forties for the next several days, no precip in sight, so we will have ever increasing smog. (*Cough cough, wheeze*)

I'm glad I don't live in Cornwall now. My nieces porch has blown off, cars are stuck in sand on beach roads, trampolines are in the canal upside down and loads of trees are blocking roads, there are also plenty of power cuts. That's all in Bude. Lucky me, just a bit of wind here, nothing much else happening.
