10c so far (9am) so it looks promising.Going on the bikes soon .It's a holiday weekend so it will get busy in an hour or two.

18-26c today, 18-25c tomorrow, still sleeping with a fan on all night. 24c in the flat at the moment. No rain since cyclone Debbie. Ron.

Wet snow today, not much accumulation with temperatures at the freezing mark. A good day to do work at the computer. This might be the last snow of the season, we needed the moisture as things were very dry a few weeks ago.

Nice and sunny today. I do like the sun. I'm envious of Ron50, but not of Bufford.

Do you know it's Hedgehog awareness week D., I expect you do_On Countryfile
on Sunday, there were three young sisters doing rescue with support from Hog Rescue, and a wonderful job they were doing to.Very professional and caring.:)

It's been cool, grey and slightly misty today.Disappointing for May.

Nice and sunny today. I do like the sun. I'm envious of Ron50, but not of Bufford.

We had 12 cm or about 4 and a half inches of the white stuff last night. This one appears to be the last snow for the season. But then again around here anything can happen. Its not all bad, as it suppresses the forest fire threat, it can get scary dry around here at this time of year.

There is a huge cat5 cyclone circling around the coral sea at the moment , it has given Vanautu a bit of a brush up and is now skirting along New Caledonia. They don't think it will get to Qld but they also said the cyclone season is over. It is a big system and we are already getting cyclonic ground swell from it as well some rain. We have not had any winter yet. The day time temps are mid twenties and around fifteen c overnight.Hard to know what to expect. Ron.

I remember you told us Vanautu was badly hit last year Ron.I hope things go easier for them this time round.
Over here on the East coast of the UK has been very disappointing lately. We are 10c today but the wind chill makes it feel a lot lower. The west and south is at least 6-8c. warmer. The waves are crashing over the piers at the mouth of the River Tyne.Have I been asleep and missed the warm calm days of late spring / early summer.?

A degree or two warmer than yesterday but still grey. The wind has dropped so might go for a cycle later.According to the news if it doesn't rain soon there will be a hosepipe ban and we all have to share the bath with the neighbors, hahaha
It seem we haven't had enough snow or rain the last few months.

There are now two tropical cyclones wandering around the coral sea. One at New Caledonia has weakened from cat 5 to 3 now there is another at cat 2 heading for Fiji. We have had two days of steady rain which was well and truly needed and now we should have some sunny weather. Daytime temps are a few degrees into the twenties and averaging fourteen c overnight. Ron.

It was a really nice start, warm, sunny and no wind. Then a bank of fog moved in off the sea.Went out on the bikes and the wind got up and dispersed the fog.But the wind was cold and it was hard work peddling against it.I was glad to get home.

Earlier today was bright and sunny. Probably considered the perfect day. Then around 6pm, a tornado, flash flood, and thunderstorm warning all hit at the same time?? crazy

Happy mothers day tomorrow to those who qualify. The mums where I live wont be happy as it is forecast to rain all day. Ron.

scottsma I love your descriptions of the weather there. I sure miss my bike, they bought me a sit down recumbent bike so working at getting strong on that one it's a lot harder when you can't stand up with your body strength and push....oh well at least I won't be getting those old lady arms lol.

Here in Seattle....wait for it....it will shock you.....yep raining.....but who cares it's discharge day yea so it's sunny to me after a month in the hospital.

UK mothers day is on a different day in the UK.I think it was in March.I've told our son Scott in OZ that I don't mind sharing with Australian mums, but to no avail. It's a good job I'm not bothered.
Still greyish and breezy but quite mild. We're being threatened with a mini heatwave next week, but notice they said MINI.The state this country is in,is it to much for us to expect some fine weather in summer at least ?

Ya wont be able to travel tomorrow to see my girls or mom but got to spend so much time with her at the hospital I'm ok with that just will be missing my daughters visit.

I have to wait for my husband to wake up.....tapping my toes lol.....since he's the driver I can't call and see if he's awake yet .

In Geordie slang....it's been chuckin it doon,or howkin it doon, all day.(heavy rain)
We did need it though, and it is quite mild so no complaints.

24c-17c for most of the week. No cold weather yet. We are expecting a little rain mid week. We are seeing a lot more winter rain than in past years. Ron.

Storms! It was a mild 85F in central Wisconsin yesterday we had some pretty wicked storms last night and they're supposed to continue throughout the day!

22c to 17c Today. Heavy overcast with rain predicted for most of the state. Flood warnings have been issued for the central to north coast and the central west with some areas expecting up to 400 mm over the weekend. Ron.

Bowen and Prosepine have both had 150mm today and it's only getting started. Starting to rain at home. There goes the weekend plans.. Ron.

I hope you don't have to bail again out Ron,and I hope you're keeping well too.

Warm16c with scudding clouds.Maybe we'll get showeres,who knows,who cares.?

Rain, Rain go away!

We had fierce storms all night, hail - lightning, thunder, strong winds. Lost power.

Hello Spring!

Sunny spells and showers. Getting a few more plants in during sunnier spells though.
~Welcome Jess, nice to her from you. Ron50, hope you're not too flooded yet.

Our skies have finally cleared and the sun is shining once more. 24c-17c today , quite warm for winter.. The rain event moved a lot faster than forecasters expected and the top rainfall recorded was 250mm and it fell in some areas that needed it. (thankfully) Ron.

Really nice here.17-20c,breezy.It's supposed to get warmer as the week progresses to another holiday weekend,so no doubt the parks and coast will be crawling with peeps and nose to tail traffic.Oh Joy !!!

Sunny days . With only a week to go before winter our temps are still well above average 26-7c today and 15 c overnight. If it is like last year we will be lucky to get a month and a half of winter. Ron.

Ah Ron,I really hope you get some relief this time round,

It's another nice day, much the same as yesterday.17c so far (9-30am) but set to rise as the day goes on.

I'm jealous of all these posts of warm sunny days. Its cold and dreary here again. Rained a good amount overnight again. Our rivers are ridiculously high from all the rain!

It got to 28c yesterday and winter starts next week. They are expecting 30cm of fresh snow on the southern alp resorts today so at least some where in the country is getting some cold weather. Ron.

I bet you'd love a good old snowball fight Ron,then cmack could take you on a trip on his snow mobile........sweet dreams.;)

25c here and not a cloud to be seen.We had a great cycle ride earlier. There was a nice cooling breeze, and it was a treat to wear just a t-shirt and leggings (and sun block)

We are having a run of beautiful sunny weather with day temps ranging from 22c to 28c and night time 12c to 17c. I wish there was a reset button on the world so I could set it at that range. Ron.

Lawn mowing wasn't too bad, a bit long and wet to mulch in some areas. It needs mowing twice a week. The folks have a pretty big yard for inside the town . Sprinkler, running, a different direction... Where is the dog? Meika!... hey where did my beer go? Ha haha

Nice, but quite windy.Going to walk along the river to the Sunday market in the village.
I saw something last week which has been on my mind all week. Why didn't I buy it then ?
Because I bought an alternative (which I also like). But I could have easily bought both.
This is a holiday weekend and there are going to crowds to fight my way through.I might take a hat pin to move them on.
Talk about making problems for yourself.

Yesterday was 10c lower than the day before and showery.
Today is much the same, but it looks promising for the rest of the week.

Winter is here. We just have to tell the weather. It was 13-25c today and much the same tomorrow. It is getting annoying . I have this ritual. when it gets cold enough I start wearing a coat during the day and I wear it every day till winter ends. I put my coat on each morning and by ten I have to take it off. I've lost my ritual. Not happy...Ron.

Well it's 6-25pm and I've just got my PJs on,and guess what, the sun's decided to make an appearance.I managed to have a cycle ride and had to take my jacket off (over heated from over exertion hahaha ) but it was grey and breezy.I'm watching the forecast at present....9c tonight and 18c tomorrow, which is just about as warm as I can comfortably manage.

It has rained none stop for 4 days and the temp.has dropped 10c since last week. Now the farmers will whinge about too much rain ,whereas last week they whinged there hadn't been enough. I've had to rootle around for warmer clothes that had been stored for the summer......I'm not complaining mind, the sorry plight the World is in lately....
