What is YOUR weather like today??

Hi All
I have not posted anything for quite a while. hope you are all coping with covid19 virus.
I have not been too bad just bored i look like a mad women at the mo going back to hairdressers next Friday yiphee.
Hubby has been at home we have survived being together 24/7.
I will say bye for now take care and stay safe😷

Still picking up live mealworms in my utility room, they must be under the freezer. My blackbird who was becoming very tame isn't here today. I hope he is out and about keeping his eyes on his fledgies. Just hope nothing bad has happened. Came face to face with him again. Can't sit out and watch my occasional hedgehog now. I don't want the attack if he feels afraid. He's actually quite good looking but no way am i going to befriend him.

I'm sure we will see numbers rise up after last nights freedom to pubs. To drunk to keep a distance. Can't believe the lunacy of it! So stupid. Not that i want to stay in any more.

Windy and not so warm. Some showers with more rain next week. Stay safe all

they had pictures on the news tonight of the great crowds of people behaving badly at UK pubs , same in America with 4th of July. Very cold day today (for us) . Same again tomorrow then a little rain coming in. We oly have one active case of covid in hospital in QLD and he is an 82 yr old who has been in hospital for weeks. Not so good in Melbourne , some one really screwed up with the security guards they hired to look after people coming back from overseas and going into quarantine. Ron.

People everywhere are behaving badly, on the news they show over crowded beaches, and when I went in the stores yesterday it would appear the virus is over as people were not self distancing. I hope it does not surge, but whats going on with people around the globe does not bode well for the near future. The warm weather continues.

I too read about the drunk and antisocial behaviour, why did bojo let pubs reopen at 6oclock in the morning?
I really don't understand the mindset of these people.
I am so sad that the world has got so much rage and selfishness.
The weather this weekend in Darwen Lancs has been wet & windy.
We wait to see the outcome of this virus.
Take care everyone.xx

I am going to the doctors tomorrow to have a couple of blood tests.
I have had telephone consultations recently but i do prefer face to face.
The weekend has been a washout with strong winds last night.
The hubby might be going back to work in the next couple of weeks, just hope he gets there on time as the busses are not picking
up many passengers at the moment.🙃

Well, the hospital has finally screwed up. We're not at the private hospital now, it's back to the general but with appointments. No one informed us of that. Now there's none left at all this week. I'm due for bloods tomorrow or Wednesday. No hope now so won't get my meds. Unfortunately i am sure i can feel spread. I'm suffering some pain now, just as lock down is lifted. Murphys Law!

Cold, windy and some rain. Not getting too much better this week apparently. As i've said, we've had our summer! Blackbird is back with fledgies. So pleased.

I am sorry to see that spooky I had to book an appointment this time as a rule they do walk in.
IT seems the rules are very different at the moment.
I was supposed to see a Liver specialist in March at Preston but it was cancelled.
I hope you soon get your meds.
Sending you love & hugs

No rain but once again the little old lady upstairs has flooded my laundry ,toilet and bathroom by starting to fill the kitchen sink to do the dishes then walking away to do something else and forgetting the sink. It is the third time this year. I think I will have to talk to her daughter about it. I'm pretty sure it is the onset of dementia. It is not doing me any good. After I mopped up the mess I took my morning glucose level and blood pressure. It was 188/100. They have closed the border between NSW and Victoria. The virus got loose in a group of high rise housing estates. It is high density living. They have locked down five buildings and have described the situation as "like vertical cruise ships." There is 3000 + people involved and no one is allowed in or out except for medicos and monitors. Not good. Ron.

That's awful Ron,you need to have a word with somebody.I would phone the social or tell her daughter that's what you're gonna do.She's definitely a hazard to you and your health.
16c and had a nice cycle along the coast.Still crowds of people everywhere....I had a phone consultation today and I'm sure Les's Aug apt. with the cancer doc.will be cancelled in favour of a phone call.I don't think things will change even if the covid gets wiped out completely.

I did manage to get my bloods taken yesterday, but i had to go to the oncology suite to have them done. 1 person in there having chemo. Amazing, but i might have to join them too. Northampton was busier than it has been, but i can't believe the industrial building that has continued this last month. Didn't know the approach to town could house that many warehouses and industrial units. Let's hope it brings more work to those that need it.

Thick drizzle falling out there at the moment. It's cold too. I think i might have to put my electric blanket back on and i've got the winter woollies out again. Roll on Saturday when it's supposed to stop raining.

Feeling really badly for you Ron. Dealing with water that floods isn't easy in fact it's quite back breaking.

I am glad you got your bloods done.
I think everything looks and feels strange at the moment, the doctors was very quiet and the one way system that is in place.
The weather here is still wet and windy have seen on the news we are due a storm this week i won't hold my breath.
Everyone stay safe.🤣

Rain on the way tonight and tomorrow,,,,supposedly! I was at the doctors this morning for my INR test. Wasn't too bad for a change. My doctor is still stuffing around with my diabetes meds, they are not helping and my sugars are gradually going up. I don't eat from 8pm till 8am the next morning and my count is around 13 in the morning , it should be 5.8.. I have enough nerve damage from chemo I don't need any more from diabetes. Ron.

Although clouding over now it was a fine sunny morning. The local shopping centre was aggravating to say the least.I'm one of those who like routine and it's been knocked out of kilter due to the covid. But if that's all I have to moan about then I count myself lucky......

The mosquitos have been pretty miserable, coming into the house each time I go in or out, chasing me around like they were small fighter jets. Luckily the rain held off as it only makes them worse. Another one giving me grief as I type this. Hopefully I will get some painting done this afternoon. 25 with partly cloudy skies but humid.

Some light rain in the last couple of days. Quite a warm night last night. I had the usual problems, kicked my blanket off and woke up freezing. Blood pressure still causing concerns. Last week 188/100 , this morning 112/62 and no change in meds. I hate mosquitoes. I don't like repellents containing deet but its better than getting Ross river ,Barmah forest or dengue fever. Ron.

Intermittent sunshine although it's meant to be nice today. I don't call this nice. I do have my thermals back on and the winter woollies too. Nipped into our famous Primark on the way home from hospital and it really wasn't busy at all. Got myself a couple of summer blouses as i'd thrown a lot last year. Oh well, the irony of it. I'm still alive fgs, lol.

My ca-125 has risen by just the one point to 15 but i'm going to get a scan as i can feel quite a bit of pain. I'm really shocked it's stayed the same as i was expecting, due to the severity of the pain, that the numbers would be higher, but their well in range again. I've no idea whats going on at all. It certainly doesn't feel anything like Crohns either.

Another warm day with rain forecast for tomorrow. Don't worry until you have another scan Di. Sadly another young surfer (only 17) was attacked and killed by a great white shark on a northern NSW beach today. Conditions were clean and sunny. Sadly he was at the beach with his parents. Ron.

I can't imagine how those poor people will ever get over that. And of course that poor boy would have known what was happening even for a
nano second.Just terrible.
18c and a nice day...the kids playground in the park has opened with a placard on the gate stating use at own risk as it will NOT be sanitized
regularly. Naturally it was full to bursting...…..

Gray, cool and buggy 18C. I Did some yard work and donated blood unwillingly to the various populations of biting flies, I too don't like deet, but will use it if I know I will take a shower afterwards. I would never want to go for a swim in known shark infested waters. Its bad enough with the bears, one came by here the other night turning over logs and rocks feeding upon red ants, which must be like candy to them.

Trying to find my way in the website once more...
It has been a harrowing time with the giant cell illness but I am now beginning to feel better
and attempting to resume life once again
Covid has not helped one bit!,
Hope you are all hanging in there...
I am regaining some memory loss and should soon be on a par with you all..
Cheers!,
Tyrsha

Trysh, great to see you again. Hope you continue to regain your health.

Hot sunshine when it's out, but still a chilly wind otherwise. I've made a restart on the garden. We had such a lovely spring that growth was minimal, but since it's been bucketing down lately everything has grown exponentially. I feel like Livingstone out there, lol. Actually contractors need to access my garden on Tuesday for some subsidence issues here. I had to get it looking a tad respectable.

another nice day,18c.Had a cycle but away from the coast this time for peace of mind.
Di, do you think the badger is to blame for the subsidence ?

Buff, are you spotty with the mozzie bites ? I used to be a right mess.Perfectly rounded little spots ……..

Good to hear that your feeling better Trysh and winning a round. Oh yes Carol I have lots of drill holes on my legs, and probably many more in places I cannot see. Yesterday they were pesky while I was painting, they know when to attack when both of my hands are too busy to slap them. Today looks to be a better summer day, warmer and sunny in the mid 20's. We could use another round of beach weather again.

Today is much better than yesterday heat wise. Thankfully, It's a mix of sun and cloud again. Our current temperature is 22c with a 60% probability of rain showers. You should see the beaches here... YIKES! I think people have finally started to revolt against the restrictions en masse... I'm not letting my guard down as of yet. My best to all.

More rain overnight. A large east coast low is forming on the east coast just south of Sydney. They are expecting up to 100 mm of rain and seas up to 5 meters in the next few days. Carol WA continues to receive front after front over the sw corner and it seems to be reaching out Scotts way. Ron.

Serves him right, he should have stayed home with his Ma and Da

Well, it was lovely and sunny and actually quite warm even at 8am. Now the sun has vanished and it's cold. Went to Daventry to get prescription and nobody seems to want to wear masks. Can't believe it how quickly people revert to normal. Went a couple of hundred meters on a pushbike yesterday and knackered myself lol. Gonna have to get on the back of Chris' motorbike methinks.

I can't think of a better way to self issolate than to take a good long motorcycle ride, or in the case of winter the snowmobile. People seem to have little self control these days and don't take this virus seriously. Its going to be a very long road to recovery with the masses behaving this badly. A good looking summer day coming up.

warm again so staying indoors and having a potter.I have worn a mask since the beginning and I hate them. They're very warm and stuffy BUT I will continue until the all clear. It's a treat to get on the bike unmasked. There's so much contradiction on the news from the govt. and scientists. They're just this minute warning of a huge return of covid in the winter...!!!

Sunnier today but cold and windy too. I stayed in b/c of the cold wind Carol and you stayed in due to heat lol. Had the engineer here sorting subsidence affecting my neighbours. Actually i think what they were doing is searching for exact tree roots doing damage. They've got the evidence and i suspect my neighbour will be obliged to take the massive firs down. I'd like some light in my garden but his tree branches reach the neighbour the other side of me. I know my luck, i will pop my clogs the day before he's forced to take them down. (i'll miss the jackdaws, tee hee).

Quite cool here at the moment. Wind chill is making it seem worse. Toowoomba only got to 11c yesterday but with wind chill it was rated at 0c. A large east coast low is effecting most of the NSW coast. A wave rider buoy off Sydney recorded a ten metre swell yesterday (they only read to ten metres) . Police are searching Coogee beach this morning after a group of surfers went into the water at 5pm last night. CC tv recorded a number going in and one less coming out. Ron.

Does seem strange to hear of those temps in Australia, Ron. I'm pleased the air is more bearable with cooler weather. Sad about the surfers. Bet the others are feeling awful.

Cold with white skies and a chill breeze. Still not got the electric blanket back on but it might go on at this rate. As i've said, we've had our lovely summer in spring. It does feel autumnal around here lately. Don't know if the leaves are blown off trees but i do seem to notice some trees losing their leaves in July in recent years. Then it progresses into full spring. I swear our seasons are speeding up the rates of change and blending too. So much snow in Monana, Idaho, and Italy as well as other places. Yet a record temp of 38C occured in Siberia and broke the records. We are definitely in uncertain times.

Stay safe all.

Maybe the guys have not got round to it yet lol the weather here fine rain but still very humid.
I had the bedroom window open during lockdown nice & peaceful just a few cars, now it is completely different since pubs reopened
the shouting and swearing is back, I ended up closing the window.
Take Care Everyone 🙃

9-22c here today. East coast low is still causing problems to NSW, biggest wave yesterday was 11.5 meters. Yesterday the forecaster said that the wave rider buoys only measured to 10 meters. He apologised today and said that they can measure waves up to nearly 40 meters. I got my haircut when the hairdressers first reopened. Ron.

Glad you had an haircut Ron it does make you feel more human.
The lockdown has not happened as yet in Blackburn, the residents of Darwen say that we should not be looked at in the same way.
Darwen used to be a single Borough at one time but now we are Blackburn with Darwen it has caused friction with the born and bred Darwener's.
I moved to Darwen 10 years ago and the town has slowly been in decline since I moved here.
The weather has not changed all week we were supposed be getting a heat wave?
Stay Safe, Val🌂

22C with unsettled skies, there's potential for more thunderstorms this afternoon. Things have been in decline around here for many years prior to the virus, but now vacant storefronts are poping up everywhere as many smaller businesses just could not make it through. There are going to be hard times for many when fall and winter arrives.

cool mornings and sunny days. Same here Buff more empty shops than those with goods and now they are saying that one out of every eight businesses will not make it thru covid. A lot of people are saying that estimate is a bit optimistic. I guess the magic bullet will be a vaccine if and when it comes. Ron.

Cool and clear, some rain expected late next week. Two more shark attacks this week. A woman was bitten on the lower leg and ankle off Fitzroy reef in Qld. They were not sure if it was a shark but during medical treatment they remove part of a shark tooth from a bone in her ankle. there was a bizzare attack in Tasmania yesterday where a great white attacked a boat and a ten year old boy was pulled into the water. The boys father jumped in and pulled his son to safety. The boy was taken to hospital with cuts and lacerations and is in a stable condition with non life threatening injuries. Lucky boy , brave dad. Ron.

Warm and showery today....shark attacks seem to be getting more frequent Ron,I know there have been some off USA and Africa latelt too.I wonder if climate change has something to do with it ?

Scott has been researching flights to UK online.Prices have shot up to almost $3000 EACH WAY and when he returns to Aus. he will have to isolate in a gov. chosen hotel for 2wks at a cost of $2000 . as well as miss work.....don't think we'll be seeing him any time soon alas.

Down to 7c in the morning then up to 22c. We are seeing a lot more great whites on both the east and west coasts of Australia since the total protection of humpback whales. Our whale populations have made a huge comeback with thousands of adults and young migrating to warmer waters for breeding then back to Antarctic waters to feed up on krill. The sharks really like whales ,they are right at the top of their list as high calorie food. I don't think that I will be flying anywhere soon. I rarely go out at all. Ron.

It was a very nice summer day yesterday, the kind of day to hang out on the deck. Then last night we had a potent thunderstorm where the night was lit up like day by steady lightning with a lot of rain. Today there is a noticeable chill in the air, brisk northwesterlys wth passing showers. 18C. Glad I took advantage of the good weather, its an indoor day today.

Sunny this afternoon. Not been out just pottered about the house. Now watching footie on the telly. Loving the sound engineers playing crowd noises in empty stadiums. I admire when the get the fake crowd screaming exactly as goals are scored. Quite funny really. Mind watching without crowd noise is peculiar. I've also been watching the reruns of the Euro footie and the Olympics from previous years. Hope i live till next year, i want to see the footie and olympics for real.

Oh, Dianne we hope you live much, much longer me darlin'.....you seem to have the right attitude I must say.We none of us know when our time will come but let's hope for a speedy painless passing, with a contented smile on our lips..
17c with light showers....a reading afternoon with the odd chocolate and maybe a nap...

Cool mornings but sunny days ,tho that is about to change with rain forecast for the next three days. Might go and visit one of the local zoos tomorrow just for something different. The animals are exotic and not natives. Most are endangered and involved in breeding programs. They have been doing it tough during covid so my entrance money and a donation will probably help. Ron.

It's hot here today, 29c and still muggy. A buddy of mine saw me at the post office and asked if I would like to come and see his new body shop. I can't work like that much anymore, however I'm happy to go hang out and offer a few jokes and to be the gopher. It's a nice big shop, man I miss being in the shop real bad.

Can't think of a nicer place to go than the zoo Ron.Our zoos have been very close to shut down due to not being able to feed the animals.Luckily the public donated cash and food to keep them going until opening time. Most of the animals would have had to be destroyed.Things we would never have thought about have suffered due to Covid…..Chris,hope you enjoy your time "helping out" at your mates.

17c sunny morning and overcast afternoon. We've been down the coast on the bikes but I'll spare you the whinging about the crowds..... it was pretty bad though......grrrrr

Its been cool the past few days, I moved three more loads of firewood yesterday and there was not one deer or horsefly. These are dying out now for the season and the mosquitos while nasty have also lost some of their energy. 17C and expecting more rain, a little too much we could use some regular summer beach weather to dry things up.

Welcome to my world Chris. Still waiting to go to the zoo Carol. The weather has turned a bit ordinary with cold winds and showers. Forecast for the next couple of days is 16c-17c with rain increasing with some heavy falls possible along the whole east coast. Covid is showing no signs of going away any time soon.Ron.

Please say more about the glorious 34C weather. I am jealous. I put all my winter clothes away as we had such a good spring. Omg, i said it was our summer. Seems i'm not wrong. Very white skies early this morning, one patch is slightly yellow. I suspect that's all we'll know of a warmer sunny day. I have seen lots of leaves starting to fall. Don't know if others in the Uk have noticed for around 10 years now our autumn is creeping in earlier. Maybe we did just have summer?! I think actually the cloud cover is supposed to break up and we might see the sun and it's glorious brightness that cheers us all up.

Went to scan. the hospital has nothing but strewn face masks surrounding it and all roads leading away from it. Got a good mind to get Greta along to hound them! It's unforgivably bad.

I'm jealous of your weather Chris, last night I had to light the wood furnace after a dull cold day that never went above 15C. While this summer is closer to normal it seems our summers are getting wetter and colder. We need some benneficial warm summer like weather to dry things up or else the mold and rot will become an issue once again.

Ah, you have one of those, Chris. I can rest assured that John next door does not belong to mensa, rofl. He's the sort of bloke who when fixing a vehicle he takes you out in it to see how well it works but is so heavy handed that he actual disengages the gearstick, thus costing more and another day without use. Yes, it costs ME to fix it. I was well pleased one day when he was dressed up so smart one evening, got in his car and disengaged his own gearstick, thus having to use wifes car. I can believe your 'nutty' or 'absent minded professor' type belonging to mensa

Actually sunny out this morning. I shall do a tad in the garden, but feel inspired to create a modern art pic today, perhaps a little Joan Miro, or Kandinsky. I also have to await that dreaded scan result phone consultation today. Arrgghh!!! I'm scared. They can only say what i suspect... It has got worse., I'll just keep that in mind as it's the reason i asked for one, so i can't expect a good result. Hopefully doing right brain stuff will occupy my mind with complete abstraction rather than emotional. I could go very modern here and do the blacked out canvas representing a gloomy outlook (our weather is sunny out)

Stay safe everyone and enjoy whatever it is you're doing.

He phoned early and caught me off guard. I have cancerous lymph nodes over my abdomen and pelvic region. Doesn't seem as though they want to do anything more for me yet. Oooops, guess i get stronger painkillers for a while.

It has been sunny and nice enough but i do have to admit i hate these days when i have my cancer spoken to me by the oncologist. Think i'll phone my McMillan nurse tomorrow. I can speak to her very easily but i can't relate to the male onc on the phone.

Hope Les is doing well, carol.

The weather is a little cooler today with the high being around 27c. Big hugs to you, Diane. I'm always here if you want to vent, please do hit me up if you need someone to talk to. I really like you and would lend you an ear. I wish everyone the best... And yeah, the guy I was talking about... He really is a member of Mensa... Don't ask me how...

We have had some rain and a fair bit of wind. Another east coast low is starting to spin up off the NSW coast.
I am very sorry about your scan results Di. I don't like it when the lymph nodes start to get involved. I had six cancerous nodes but colon cancer is a bit different. They remove the cancer in a field with clear margins on each side or the cancer but the field they remove includes all of the flange which supplies blood and has all of the regional lymph nodes relating to that part of the colon. There were 13 nodes in my field and six were cancerous. They did not know if the cancer had entered the area where the flange is attached to the body. There is a lot of fatty tissue and cancer is very difficult to pick up in the fatty tissue. I had to wait seven years to be cleared. From my experience there is two main treatments for cancerous nodes., surgery or radiation. I hope they move quickly and offer one of those options. All of my love and support, Ron.

It's another autumnal day outside. Sincerely hope we have sunny weather in August. This summer has been awful so far. I so wish everything would get back to normal. None of my friends are going out anywhere so i'm still stuffed at home on my own. I'm going to challenge the horrendous bine stem again. It runs right across my garden and neighbours. The brambles are just as bad too.

thanks for all the support. They have no intentions of doing anything more for the time being. At this rate i might as well attempt a trip to Pompeii and Herculanium. I know, it's risky but i don't know how long i've got without too much pain.

yeah, i'm so fucked off now. Phoned gp for prescription. They wanted me to chat with my own gp, but he has never once written a prescription in 5 years here. I have to lie to reception and tell them i have a female issue to see a diff doc. I told them that today and they went mental at me. I mean it's not my fault he won't prescribe. He refused me a stool test sample kit. That was the day that i learned to buy meds online. I bought Metronidazole (flagyl) and it worked after a couple of weeks. I complained about a pressure that i've had in my head for a few years and he told me to ignore it and focus on my ovarian cancer. My aunt keeled over in the street with 3 brain tumours related to hers. Of course it can go to the brain. Other ovarian cancer women do have it there. I just can't persuade the NHS to do a head scan. I have got an appointment with a female gp on Monday, but hell the anger flying my way is stupid. I should have complained before. Other patients also have this problem. If they don't play fair now, i'm going to contact GMC, Minister of Health, and the Pakistani equivalent, and omg, they are desperate for a new practice. Think i might do my Greta 'Notmuchfunberg' and protest outside town planning. A gp who never prescribes is no gp at all.

I'm having a bad 'phase'. Tomorrow exists and so will i.

Stay safe all.

You have every right let em have it!! I wish I could have been there to stick up for you, Di. I would have yelled so loud that they would have jumped for cover and slammed the door on them too. I know I would get arrested, however, it just makes me pissed to see anyone dressed down like that in a hospital setting. I'm so sorry that you are having such a rough time. XX

Our weather is mixed sun and cloud. The current situation is 24c with intermittent rain showers forecast all afternoon and evening. We need more rain.

We had some more light rain overnight but no where near enough to help winter crops or those relying on tank water. It is very sobering to see more wildfires and 30c+ temps in Siberia.
Di if the medical system cannot offer anything else they really should be obliged to offer you the best quality of life available with modern medicines, I think that with the world wide covid crisis al lot of doctors have given up and stuck their heads in the sand. You deserve better, hugs Ron.

Out of the fridge and into the oven describes the weather over the past 24 hours. Yesterday was mediocre, not quite warm enough to sit out on the deck, then during the middle of the night I reached for the air conditioner. The morning is hot today, a nice break from the damp and cool conditions, very humid high 20's. I feel for you DI, the public healthcare system can be stubborn. Going back before my present GP I had to wait over 10 years to get a new GP after my old one retired. Waiting around in the walk in clinics for hours when in flare mode was excruciating, there's got to be a better way to deliver health care instead of leaving out patients in need.

I do envy your temps, Chris. Actually i awoke to sunshine today. Looks nice enough out though still wet from all the showers lately. the grounds need it very much and things are now looking a little greener rather than of recent. I have a load of pitholes in my lawn as the badgers can dig deeper. Omg, my lawn, lol. We should have been watching the olympics now. I really am missing live sports events, this is one of the really sad things about this pandemic, everything has been cancelled.

I expect we've all noticed the uptick in new cases. I'm really worried, i mean with all those protesters mingling amongst each other, it will be in every part of each country again. What with the riots in the US i can't see their numbers dropping any time soon. I am now as worried as governments about a winter flare up of this. It's such a bad thing for the economy and work.

Stay safe everyone.

Warm and muggy, I spent the afternoon out on the deck and may do the same today. It may break the 30C mark, but well see. 2 liters of gatorade Chris, that would be enough to kill me by the sugar volume. By the numbers it would appear that there is no stopping this second global wave, I too wonder what things will be like when winter comes.

We're under an extreme heat advisory for our region, as the temperatures will rise into the high 30's C for the next week or so. I'm doing my best to find small outside jobs in the morning and knocking them off the list... Such is life. I mix my Gatorade weak, Buff... I find it too sweet otherwise. ;)

Wow, there are some strong gusts of wind out there today. It's also cold and with that awful drizzle most the time aside from the heavier downpours. Very Autumnal.

Spoke with a lady gp this morning. she specialises in cancer and palliative care. We chatted very easily and with no problems and she is having the prescription sent to the post office. I tell you, God on reception does everything to keep everything flowing how they want it flowing. I don't know why they get so stroppy if we mention a gp who refuses to prescribe. anyway, i feel much better about that.

Guess who had two hissing hedgepigs last night? I was delighted. Haven't seen one in ages, now i've got two. I think i shall start putting the food out again for them.

Stay safe all.

Di., I'm so happy that you found a sympathetic ear at last.Did you make a note of her name so that you can get in touch with her in the future ?
The Mirror reported today that your neck of the woods had a tornado yesterday ?
Siberia is having unprecedented heat waves and forest fires....It does make you wonder what next.
17c and rainy today but the south is expecting 30c+ by the weekend. Please let the North East be overlooked.
After allowing the Uk to enter Spain on holiday last week the government have decided that owing to a rise in Spain of covid, our happy holiday makers will have to self isolate for 2wks on their return.estimated 60,000 people. Not forgetting those who have already booked for the next few weeks. They will have to get in line to get refunds....again.

It was a hot one yesterday reaching 32C, which by late afternoon had me seeking refuge with the airconditioner. A good do nothing day listening to Simon and Garfunkle out on the deck. It threatened a storm, but held off before it became an angry rage in the distant east while the sunshine basked. Today its cooler, and I'll get some things done later.

Cool and damp again, the weekend a distant memory. People are not helping, down in Brampton there was a house party with over 200 in attendance, it became out of control and ended when gunfire erupted. More billions being handed out freely by the government, its getting out of hand from all corners. All it would take now would be a break in the food supply networks and the thin layer of civility would be broken.
