wet again but easing off...just back from a damp walk and the sun looks like it's trying, but no sign of the 15c temp as promised.
So true Tony, living with The Bag is a fine line between tranquility and disaster. The bag is like a nuclear plant, when it works properly one does not give it a second thought, but when there is a containment breach its chaos and a disaster that goes well beyond the fringe areaas long as my bag stays on ,nothing else matters
I have to say apart from a few months last year I have been trouble free with the bag ,and that was sorted with the help of a hollister nurse who was brilliant ,much better than my GI team or GP who are cluelessSo true Tony, living with The Bag is a fine line between tranquility and disaster. -12C partly cloudy dry cold.
You've got until Monday to have a think about it Ron.Please listen to what he says ,then consider. I understand where you're coming from but any procedure might make a big difference to your general and mental health,,,,,or it might all be for nothing. See what's on offer eh ?I see my GP on Monday morning Carol. I am not expecting anything exciting to come from it and I don't care what is in the cardiac specialists letter I will not have anything further to do with him and I will not be allowing him to do any procedures on me. He has had two opportunities and has done nothing . Heavy rain forecast for all of next week. Ron.
He should be ashamed of his self and sacked...report the idiot and get a second opinion !!Carol at my last meeting my cardiologist told me on at least six occasions that If I have a pacemaker fitted that I would highly likely get an infection and die. As if i would let that turkey do anything to me. Wet and warm here. Ron.
16c....stand-bye for whinging !!! welcome cheka, you're obviously a warm weather fan ?
RON, are you OK ?
-1C Sunny but dry. Nice day coming up and the snow slowly melts. Cheka you are living in the right place with the warmer climate. With the direction this country is going, Mexico with its warmer climate and living standards look better all the time. Its practically impossible to live on a senior's pension here. Its been awhile Ron, hope things are okay.
18c and blustery...... too soon for whinging ,it might be a long summer. Walked down to the weekly craft market and really struggled home, but we have to try eh ? cheka you'll find that we all agree there's something amiss with the weather ,but we're a good mix country wise and it's good to know how other folk cope. We in the UK really don't have much to moan about by comparison but I do in summertime, often
might look at olive leaf and hawthorn supplements for bp. both have some good trials/papers published on pubmed. i take both - one in the morning, one at night.Clearing up nicely here gone up to 13C , just been put on BP meds for the first time (omesar) happy enough as it was worrying me a bit
Thanks for that Cheka , will check them outmight look at olive leaf and hawthorn supplements for bp. both have some good trials/papers published on pubmed. i take both - one in the morning, one at night.
weather was crazy in houston this morning -- 75 mph wind, thousands of lightning strikes per hour, hard rain, high wind, some hail. clearing up nicely now. hope to go to the outdoor basketball court later today
I agree Buff. it's a lot less of a faff on the phone and I usually write a list to ask which stops me from getting brain fog.I had the phone appt with the surgeon, surgery tentatively scheduled towards the end of May which is good timing as the biting flies emerge and can't do anything outside. I'll be glad to have the rectum chopped out, but unsure if I want to lose the colon. Life will be more difficult and expensive with the watery output without the colon, more interruptions during the night and a greater chance of catastrophic containment breaches in bed. Another unknown is how much weaker will I become without the colon for digestion. The rectum creates a lot of urgency, often ending in a mess, like this morning, and cancer cannot be ruled out.
Carol, I like telephone apts with the doctor far better than in office. There are few distractions when talking one on one on the phone as I find the doctor spends a lot of time in office entering data on their laptops, and other interruptions. I don't care for the driving in and the waiting for the doctor, its so much easier from home. I have had some very deep conversations with my GP doc that wouldn't take place at the office, there is something different without the sterility of the clinic.
