rained yesterday, and white sky and cool today. No spring yet.

Papers are suggesting we Brits are going to have our hottest summer ever... yeah, right!

33c and hot and sticky. Over 30c predicted for the rest of the week. No serious rain just showers of barely 5mm. It is going to be a long dry winter....if it ever gets here. Ron.

Hawkeye, my sister and her family watched 3 zoom across the sky some months ago, and a friend saw one also. I watch them on you tube as planet earth is not normally prone to this many. There are thousands now, but i have yet to see one myself. Thanks for the link.

sunny at the moment, but it has been raining. We're in for more rain and wind too. Oh, and it's going to get much colder. Having predicted our hottest ever summer to come i'm not surprised that this winter is going to continue. never mind.

Got about 2" of snow last night but it should melt later today. Cats are not impressed - they seem to think I have something to do with the change in the weather. I am now a Weather God!

18F and overcast.Snow starting tonight,5 inches predicted, than turning to rain tomorrow.Messy and frustrating weather...but a sign Spring is on the way!

Can't believe someone likes a chilly day! We have one today. Tomorrow it's back to British weather, loads of rain and very windy.

Welcome Deliz, will be nice to hear about the weather in India. I could do with hot weather. We Brits are always hopeful of hot weather, though i'm not so sure that Scottsma loves it, lol. I do!

I am well and truly over hot. The 30c run of temps continues. It plays merry hell with my sleep patterns. It is very easy to get dehydrated and side effects of meds seem to be much worse when it's hot. Ron.

We also have a mostly sunny day with a brisk breeze.35F. I'm thankful for a respite from the snow/rain pattern we have been having. :poop:

Disgusting weather. The wind and rain are back again, and it's freezin' to boot. Oh well, It's spring now so we can await what will be, according to the weathermen, our hottest summer ever, lol. yeah, right.

Still at 30 c , they have forecast substantial rain for the past week but still nothing. Our wet season just has not happened and dam levels are falling . Ron.

Finally two days of rain and raining again this morning ,temps are down to 25c . Best nights sleep in months last night. Ron.

Cold and windy today. Snow and rain are forecast for tomorrow. Maybe I'll have to go visit Ron50 to get away from this never ending winter!

You are most welcome Linda tho you may need to bring a boat ,now they have issued a severe weather alert for south-east Queensland with heavy rain and localised flooding but it is still 25c so all is not lost. Ron.

Cold and rainy, but changing over to snow later today. Driving home in this weather is going to be horrid.

wow,hawkeye...we got the winds but lucked out and missed the snow.It was wild...come on Spring! Tonight is 32F and calm..seems so warm.

We got the predicted rain, 340 mm in 24 hrs was the highest recording, we were a bit luckier where I live and only received around 125 mm. The main low has headed out to sea but temps are rising and there have been some interesting afternoon storms. Ron.

Warmer than yesterday and partly sunny today. My son and I went to the conservatory to see some non-brown plants. All the green growing things made me hopeful that there will be spring eventually. But we still have snow cover everywhere.

Apparently the South of the country are having 20c (and they deserve it,after the floods) Up here on the North East coast it's cold and grey.Patience is a virtue,so they say.

Today was a beautiful day...partly sunny and actually hit 50F! Gives me hope...melt snow, damn you, melt!!!!

Fog !!! Being on the coast,it happens. There's even a song by local group Lindisfarne called "The fog on the Tyne". I love it,the song not the fog. It's on you tube,

An absolutely beautiful day! Sunny and mild. It should get up near 60F today! I opened all the windows upstairs. Today is just a taste of spring. Tomorrow it goes down to the upper teens/low twenties.

29-30c Massive storm in Toowoomba yesterday . At least four swift water rescues. One death in northern NSW ,a lady swept off a road in her 4wd going to feed her horses, sad. Ron.

We get one more day of reprieve before the temps go down again. Today is another mild day. Tomorrow is the return of snow.

Cold and flurries right now. Our temperature is about 15 degrees below normal for this time of year.

Still in the high 20's low 30's c. What is really bugging me is that night time temps are 19-22 c. Normally by this time of the year you find a bit of a chill in the air at this time of the morning. Sitting at the puter at 6.3o in the morning with no shirt on and a fan on me. Ron.

We,re having the Haar today and it's been the same for the last few days in Coatbridge.the Haar is normally an east coat thing.the clouds are so heavy with moisture they brush the ground with a strong cold east wind, really damp and freezing cold it doesn't rain but it's really damp.

29F and sunny...forecast similar to yesterday and yesterday was a very nice day. :ycool: May reach the mid 40's again! It is officially mud season...mud,mud,mud. I'll take it

Another cold day here. Tomorrow we're supposed to get either 6-8 inches of snow or over a foot, depending on the storm track. At this point, it doesn't even matter if it were 2 feet. I'm starting to feel like the snow will never go away.

Its much the same as ever here. Fairly cool and always a chance of rain but good to see the cherry blossoms coming out. Cant wait for summer.

24F and sunny with blue skies. Not too breezy...could be three days in a row with temps in the mid 40's. I'm thinking of you LindaS,snow does melt...I've seen it :eek2: Keep the faith!

dave13, I will believe the snow melts when I see the mud! I guess we "lucked" out, because we're in the bulls-eye for this storm, and are predicted to get between 10-14 inches of snow, which will come after the freezing rain we're having this morning.

It is still in the 30's c and now they are predicting that another cyclone may form at the weekend. We are past the equinox ,it should be cooling down, the monsoon should be defunct. Very strange goings on. The south of NSW the sea temps should be dropping. A lady lifesaver was training for an event this morning at Tarthra , she was bitten in half by a shark. Most shark attacks here happen in summer heat. Another diver was killed two days ago in western Australia. Even the critters don't know what's going on with the weather. Ron.

We talk about it a lot in this part of the world. It's an important conversation opener, especially with strangers. You have to be careful though,if you're in a hurry,or you end up getting whole life stories and medical histories.

I personally find it interesting to hear everyone's weather. It is nice to know that at least in some places it is warm. Never having been to the UK, I enjoy reading their weather. It gives me something other than the stereotypical "always rainy" that we get here in popular media. And I wouldn't know about the typhoons in Australia if it weren't for Ron's updates.
