    Pentasa Side Effects

Just keep an eye on it esp if you increase your dosage. I had bad headaches and neck pain with it and had to discontinue use, but it was a very unusual reaction!

Yay!! Thanks for all the support you guys!! Everything went well...I'm just sitting around waiting to fart. Getting pretty frustrated that it hasn't happened yet, but I'm making sure to walk and move around and eat all my broth because they said that will help. I still can't wait to eat (thanks...

    My Story

Hiya scoop. I'm so sorry to hear all your sad news, but I hope you can find small victories that get you through each day. I haven't had quite the same symptoms and I've never taken pred, but I can tell you some things that have helped me. I found that I felt worse when I was stressed or...

    Your first love

HAHAHA nice. Mine was freshman year in college..then he joined the navy and didn't come back until last month! I thought it was going to be like a fairy tale after all this time and different relationships ending up together, but somewhere in the last 8 years he turned into a jerk :/ go figure!!

    Newly diagnosed!

I'm sorry to hear your news, but you have found a group of people that care and will listen and help you as you make sense of everything! I am still trying to make sense of all the medications too so maybe we can help each other with that. I have only been on Entocort (good results) and Asacol...

    Can someone please help me?

Ugh, my heart goes out to you! I've heard some horror stories and this is definitely one. I'm so sorry you're suffering this way. I'd sure like to grab one of those doctors by the shoulders and just say LISTEN! I'm just gonna tell you what I would do, and you can add it to your list of...

Is this a sure sign of a yeast problem?

I would say they are definitely connected also. I've had a lot of problems with yeast overgrowth and what has worked best for me is a combination attack: eating plain yogurt, fresh garlic, avoiding sugar, drinking tons of water, and probiotics. One item to note is that "Thrush" Candida...

Crohnie Vision: What do you need to see?

Glasses rock!! I tried those weighted lenses for astigmatism and it just always felt like I had something in my eye and they would get so dry and jump out! My contacts rejected me :( So I gave up. Plus I never got the hang of putting them in and getting them out. I would get so mad and stomp...

Just got back from my GI

Great optimism :) That's nice that you don't have to get another scope right now! I'm not very familiar with the medicine you're talking about but I really hope it helps you feel well so you don't have to get surgery. Keep us updated! Positive thoughts your way------>
