nice fish, looks like our blue cod.

I miss your reply, Trev, sorry. it didn't come in until I posted, although you were before. my phone does that sometimes. she said her deceased husband used to use the fish as a pillow.

i can think of better things to use as a pillow.

i cant use my ph on here, the screen is too small.

NaDene really is a very sweet lady, just not your type. She has received awards from Kaysville City for outstanding yard/ garden in the past.

I have to pinch enlarge the screen to see it and have the phone two inches from my face. As for the pillows, maybe you just needed a pair of fish

maybe she does and I don't because I can't enlarge your picture enough to really see you over my tiny screen. are you scary?

Ha ha ha, too cold to go out. I could count snores

That deffo doesn't work......my hubby had hiccups for 48hrs last weekend until I eventually found a cure that worked for him on the net.I was just polishing the frying-pan to give him a "surprise" wack on the back of the head.He doesn't know how close he came :lol2::lol2::lol2:

I just got my results from my bloodwork and inflammation markers in my blood are 16.2, normal is 0-3. So now I know why I've been feeling so poorly. He gave me pain meds and put me back on an antidepressant because I went off the one I was on. It made me sweat and gain weight. He put me on Celexa. Anyone onit? Any side affects? He told me to call my gastro and make an appt. He also ordered a thyroid bloodtest. So I went and got that done too. Wants me back in a month. What these Dr.s do to see me, I just don't know!!!:lol2:Kidding. I missed you all though. Glad you are safely back Kirsty!:ghug:
PS MY cholesteral is enviable he said 178 total and good high cholesteral! YAY! Sugar was great too.

Dreamed I was in a giant castle in England and I could hear all these women laughing and I went through the door and there sat Kirsty and Carol and Robert all around this giant table in the dingroom. I asked Carol what was so funny and they pointed at Robert's plate and he was eating crow!!!:lol2:
I win....

*** went ok Doug, thanks :), how was yours? I've just woken from a 2 hr nap

I'm answering for Doug, Kirst. Because of a scheduling glitch, Doug's jabs are now a week off of yours, instead of about the same time. He told me to tell you his last *** went well, though.

Yay for naps! I hope it left you feeling well rested.

Goodnight all! I'm too wiped out to say more, except winning.

Bee you meant whining didnt you? I understand:smile:

I see Dekxy and Kirsty are lowering the tone. You little rascals you. You'll upset some of the more restrained (tight Ar*ed) among us.hahaha

2 hours and it was great! Have a great weekend you guys. Going to my parents for a Ftaher's day picnic tmro. Happy Father's day to you guys!!!:ghug:

Me too, my turn for a win. Happy father's day to all the fathers out there (whether it is celebrated in your country or not.) I'm an hour early for father's day here, but most of you are into Sunday by now.
Doug especially right now, you are a fantastic father, and it really came thru today.

9-30am.........been up for 3hrs and got loads done.Just having time out with the daily newspaper and crossword then going to juice then finish my jobs for the day.Going out to buy a slow cooker (crock-pot) after lunch.Anything that makes life easier is ok with me.WINNING.

Haha, try crock-pot lasagna. Admittedly, I haven't but it sounds amazing!

Not doing anything with more than 6 ingredients, including veggies. My hubby doesn't like lasagne and as there's just the 2 of us,I don't think I could eat a crock-pot full on my own :lol2:

Speaking of crockpots,

Try doing a whole chicken in yours with a little chicken broth and celery and carrots an onion and salt and pepper. Let cook on low till super tender.Throw out onion and celery. Save carrots(yummy). Then pour juices into a pot and mix flour and water to make a thickening agent, get out all lumps. Heat the juices and slowly add the flour mixture and whisk the whole time till thick and bubbly at least a minute or two. Salt and ppepper as needed. Make mashed potatoes on the side and a veg. or have the carrots as your veg.I win because I am the queen in the kitchen besides Kirsty!:ghug:

I knew you would give me some good tips T.I will def.do that one.I've got it.It's not huge 4ltrs I think, but more than big enough for us (and Geordie next door) I like the idea of just letting it do its thing.

Roast beef Italian style:For crockpot.
4 LB. rump roast or sirloin tip cut in 2 in. squares.
I cup jarred spaghetti sauce. 1 whole celery stick cut in half.
1 whole onion
1 clove garlic
2 TBSP. cider vinegar
2 TBSP. of Worcesteshire sauce
2 TBSP bottled french dressing.
2 tsp of salt or more if desired
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp red pepper flakes(If you like spicey).
2 TBSP Italian seasoning
dash of oregano
dash or rosemary or one fresh sprig
2 cups water
Put all in cold crockpot. (Never put cold in hot crock as it will crack!)
Let cook on high for 5-8 hrs. until beef is very tender. Remove onion and celery
and garlic clove. Take a sturdy wooden spoon and shred meat up completely. Serve on fresh Italian rolls with a slice of mozzarella cheese. Makes 24 sandwiches. You can freeze containers and have meals for later like I do. You will love this recipe.

That sound delish T. But rather a lot for 3 of us.I could prob make a smaller amount though eh ? AND it's more than 6 ingredients hahaha

No, freeze containers and pull them out when you don't feel like cooking. But you could cut the recipe in half I guess. Just don't know if it would taste as good. I always serve this for parties and the guys just go wild for it.

I NEVER feel like cooking,......But a girls got to show willing (as with most things in life):lol2:

Yes!!! I just love to be creative with cooking. It is my gift I guess. Took after my Gram. She was my role model. My Mom's a good cook, but Gram was great!!!! Made the best homemade rolls and bread ever! You can't find them in stores like that!

I just stick to dinners......casseroles,stews,curries,omlettes,roasts, fish and chips.Blokes food. Not too my liking and I don't eat it,but Les thinks it's good and that's what matters.NEVER bake now.Don't eat it, so buy in for hubs.Use 'em or loose 'em

I used to have five bunny rabbits! One was a house pet and leash trained (sort of). While moving from Utah to Arizona, I had him in a harness and on a leash so I could let him stretch his legs every so often. Boy, did I get some weird and curious looks at some rest stops.

We had one when the kids were growing up. They named him BunBun. He would hop all around the house. Then he started spraying me~ circling me with spray(Pee) flying. He chewed all the wires too, telephone and lamp wires! No more running around the house for BunBun!:lol2:

GJ! How are you? Did you have a good time? Did you get a lot done? Did you survive? We missed you!

Yes, we got a lot done! Our students worked so hard and I am so proud of them! We worked on a roof, but we did not finish. The group that is there now will probably finish. Joplin still had a lot of need, but no matter where we went, people were so happy to have us there because people would honk at us, as we drove around town. It was hard to come home, but our students are already look forward to next year!

your group will always be remembered by those that needed your help, Jamie. I'm glad it was a good experience. There is nothing like the feeling of knowing you helped someone where they really needed help is there? That is why, as much as I've complained, foster children were (still are) so rewarding to us.
