Trysha, how are you?
Maybe we can talk Trysha into joining our little party tonight. Well Trysha? I promise not to get to rowdy, or even drink:ylol::ylol:
Hello gang! How is everyone? I am just here to say a quick hi and take the win. Been a busy busy week and will continue to be one. Me and my man are headed to Köpenhagen for middsummer. Should be an interesting trip as we are comming home by train and ferry. Something different.
Hugs to all.. even Robert.
Hi Sandy and Teresa
Life is a bit of a turmoil for me since getting ready to sell the house. Busy packing things into boxes, and getting repair jobs done, etc.
Add to that the numerous medical visits including a one day stay in Emergency and finally another bombshell diagnosis of bladder tumor, quite small but surgery will be in July and my move will start in August.Good timing would you not say?
So I will pop in and out of the forum, don't always feel up to it though.
Thanks for your concern
Hugs
Trysha
up to taking the win though.........
Hi Scottsma---
Hate to break it to you Robert but I am not gone for long. We fly to Köpenhagen on thursday night and have fridays to look around and see the city. The saturday morning its a fast speed train to Stocholm Sweden and from there an overnight ferry to Helsinki so we are back sunday morning. Just an extended weekedn getaway. But definately something different. Have not been to Köpenhagen before and have not taken a train ride in Sweden either. So new things to see.
I suppose it can be called a busines trip. but we are going for the fun of it too. Combined.
Thanks Aura. We only have the one full day in the city and plan to mostly just walk around and soak in the atmosphere and do some people spotting. Gardens and nice outdoor places are exactly where we will be.. unless its raining. Then we will probably either go see the castle or just sit in coffee shops.
Teresa. Its a busines trip regarding his hobby not his work. He works for the postal service so nothing to do with it. And his hobby is snakes.
Snakes and spiders, no wonder you getalong so well!!! Ewwww!
As long as you're up to taking the win, that's what counts:ylol: Hang in there, and know you have a lot of friends here.up to taking the win though.........
Hi Scottsma---
I really do scare you all, don't I:hallo3::hallo3::hallo3:
As long as you're up to taking the win, that's what counts:ylol: Hang in there, and know you have a lot of friends here.
Sanni, I'm so jealous! Copenhagen, as it is known here, is where my paternal grandparents were both born and raised. When my great aunt Else came to visit my family in Utah, she ate watermelon and saw snow, both for the first time and in the same day. (Late spring, up a local canyon)
So which would you rather be locked in a room with - snake or giant spider?

OK, just one good win before I have to go! Work day! Have fun!:ylol::sign0085:
Is it only us it's happening to?Perhaps someones playing a joke on us.I think it's a rogue virus but my security scan hasn't found anything.I've googled for help but haven't been able to sort it.Which is no surprise really,as I'm techno-thick............but I am winning!!!
Check out Wellington last night www.stuff.co.nz it's been wild here
Power was out most of last night. Trees are down every where. Trees are banging against the windows. Powers back on now. I kept the fire going all night. We aren't at work today.
With our wind we don't get snow just cold blasts of air. Snow is in South Island and in the central north island. I'm located in the bottom of the north. A wind funnel.
