Stay out of the cyclones Kirsti, you have enough to deal with. Like being quiet and letting me win. Robert, you never talk to me anymore. Ya scared? Should be. Well, off to test up for my final win, but I'm also winning now. And staying away from trains.

its so calm and hot here, hard to believe we will be in the middle of a cyclone tomorrow nite. better win while I can.

I don't think they'd risk it with the cyclone by those boats are expensive. Well you 'Batton down the hatches'. We'll do the same. I'll have to get hubs to bring wood in I case it gets cold.

Coffee and chocolate cake sounds yummy...
I'll take the win while you enjoy that.
Robert, what part of London is this cigar shop? Is it a retail shop? Do you have to provide a smoking room for customers? I'm curious, as we have tight rules here about where you can smoke.

Well you can come and visit when you are in London!

I was part of the industry body in the late 90's that negotiated an exemption from the smoking ban. This allows sampling in specialist tobacco stores. So as long as you buy a cigar you can smoke / sample it. This is a retail shop with a fabulous lounge area.

We are in St. James's street, where there are no less than three cigar stores (with a combined age of 380 years!) in fact there are nine shops in the street that are over 100 years old. The oldest being Berry a Broths & Rudd wine shop dating from 1670. It is one of the finest and most historic retail streets anywhere - sandwiched between Buckingham Palace and St James's Palace

Sounds a very interesting location.
Are there plenty of tourists visiting your establishment Robert?
Good to see you are on patrol in this thread.

I will find you when we are in London. I think hubs would enjoy the experience. He does enjoy a good cigar.

And he was there to cut the ribbon on the first day of opening.

Hubs is keen, we wanted to have fun in London. Buying cigars will be lots of fun for hubs. Me, I'm a wine and cig kind of girl. Although smoking in the past few years has been nil due to health. But I'm a great red wine snob :)

Carol you were quick witted :).

I noticed there is an 'aura's' on st James day too. Not my cuppa tea, that one.

You were fast Carol--- but he has not quite reached the age of Methuselah (696 years)
With age comes wisdom..........
Good to see you so sprightly Aura---hope things continue to go well for you.
I have family in London---maybe we could meet up at St James or Buckingham Palace? OR
a cigar store......

Wabbit, munch on your carrot fora while and let me enjoy the win.

I've scared you all off how wonderful! The win is mine, all mine!! (Wicked laugh sound effect)

The winds have hit Wellington, no rain but the wins are so strong I don't think rain stands a chance of hitting the ground.

It's 2 am, hubs is snoring away, Wolf wants out, that's because he's an adrenalin junkie of a cat.

Windy weather best stay indoors by the fire and read a good book-----
Why are you not sleeping?
Our weather has improved from blizzards to a balmy 4C--
and the sun is shining....

Hi all, nothing to say for now, except I hope you're all having a good day/night.

I'll be back when my mojo is.

It means different things to different people, for me it's my energy, interest, aura etc.

All of which I'm lacking today.I'm a bit under the weather.

Trysha, I'm still finding it hard to sleep. It's the post nasal drip which is part of larynx reflux it makes me cough when I lie down.

Carol you ok? We are here for you. Let's know if we can help you.

Sorry to hear of the sleep difficulties and hope it will soon resolve.

I'm coming and going too. Found out Saturday that we were getting a house guest (only had four hours notice) for a few days to a few weeks. That deserves the win. Gotta go entertain my guest again. (It's a good thing it's Doug's brother Dave and we love him! And he is relatively (no pun intended) easy to have around.

That was a nice surprise Sandy and good to have a considerate house guest

winning------------

Hi Sandy, how are you and Doug? When I work from home with no distractions I get soooo much done.!!!

Doug and I are both status quo, no big complaints. The biggest thing we have going on besides our standard health problems is our house guest, Doug's brother Dave. He is a good person, but has his own set of challenges as he has Aspbergers syndrome. (High functioning autistic.)
