hi Kirsty and Carrie, weathers crap here too, much needed rain. hey Kirsty maybe you should write contagious on your mask and scare them off.
winning..

Trev the steward asked if I was well. It's the second time now. Last time I got "are you well enough to travel". I gave her a short sharp response to that yesterday.

Hi, the surgeon is going to put me thru the mill. My tests will include: bloods; endoscopy; ph telemetry; barium meal swallow; gastric emptying study. Then make decision. He is also going to continue talking with my previous surgeon and GI.

New but glad to have found my way here. :)

Welcome Shanen, but sorry you have to be here,if you get my drift. Please don't take this game seriously, just do your best not to take offence.
And if you're expecting a winners prize,don't.:ylol2:

Winning !!!

Kirsty,I think you're what is known as a "Medical Phenomenon"

Alfie's one in vetinary circles.:(

Oh not much Kirsty.I have a pretty easy life compared to most.I've been to the shops, done a wash put a roast on,all boring day to day stuff. We do get out regularly, either up the coast or into the country. We have lots of ancient castles and a lovely coastline. Also Northumberland has the least population than anywhere else in England once you get away from the towns of course.Have a google.

I get what you mean scottsma. Thanks for the welcome as I find my way around. It wouldn't be my first choice to be here either, but I'm awfully glad to have found such great people to educate me and who relate to getting through the rough spots. No offense taken, as long as I can give it back with some humor. I'm not expecting a winner's prize but I do suffer from insomnia so I may claim a win at odd hours!

Or now...:)

Tongue in cheek humour is the mainstay on here, sometimes just cheek, and sometimes downright insults, especially when the "men" turn up.Stay with us.We seem to be having trouble keeping newbies.

Winning !!!

So noted but I may have a bit of an anal personality and some German Russian heritage so I'm used to being stubborn.

And having the last word...

Winning!

Hello Shanen good to meet you.
I have been to Minnesota many times beautiful Hiawatha countryside ---
by the shores of Gitcheegumi, by the lake sea shining water------
Aura, sorry you have to go through all those procedures., been there---done that---
Carol I see you have been busy with domestic pursuits and the dog----
I have been otherwise occupied with scopes, glad its over.Surgery being scheduled---
What a lovely day today with sunshine and warming weather...
winning..........

hi Kirsty enjoy your barium, I think it taste worst every time I have it.
welcome Shanen and don't listen to scottsma the women give the insults and us men just grin and bear it. (should that be beer)
wining..

Aura...Ahhh barium. Yeah that was also a pleasant learning experience for me. Can do without it.
Trysha...Minnesota is just entering spring and soon spring flowers will truly make it look and feel like it. I can't wait!
Trev...definitely beer! It will make your grinning and bearing it more palatable as women never give insults unless truly deserving.

Winning...

Shanen, I see you wont make it to the A team, shame as we could do with some new members.

Good evening and good morning to you. It's 1-45pm here and I'm just waiting for the veggies to cook. We're having roast beef and Yorkshires etc and fruit & cream for afters.Honestly,it's such a faff on for just the 2 of us.I don't know why I put myself through it.Les would be happy with an omelette or a curry. And don't even mention the washing up !!! Well, the smoke alarm's going off,so it must be ready.....Winning.

Carol I would love to share the roast beef and yorkshire!
Could probably eat that now the GI has dealt with the esophageal stricture I did not know was there.....
winning.......... still a bit sore--- but it sounds so delicious I would give it a try!
Don't stop cooking---Alfie would not like it if you did..

After all that faff,I couldn't eat it.It's usually the case.Hubby and Alf enjoyed it though (No Yorkshires or roast pots for him).Anybody fancy a beef sandwhich, there's plenty.:(

I would love a roast beef sandwich with lots of fresh mustard--might regret it
but worth a try
Sorry you could not eat after all the culinary expertise Carol
winning.......

Carol count me in. I love the thought of eating it all!!

Trysha glad you are getting better :). I have had no desire to eat for such a long time. But I need to eat for my diabetes. So I eat and then fully distend with pain till I wake up the next day all soft again.

Newbies, hang in there and give as good as you get :)

Thank you Aura
Sorry you are having such a tough time and hope for some resolution for your problems.
I am cautiously trying to eat a little more, hard to do without an appetite but I was attracted to Carol's cooking.
At least I no longer have problems swallowing.,thanks to my expert GI.
winning......

No, just saying you don't do that well, even against someone with a tested I.Q. of 68.

Cop out? If I can handle Dusty I can handle you.

Winning as if you would ever see me off. I do need some sleep being in the opposite time zone to you.

Kirsty, you can't go NOW !!! I need you to take over and batter Wabbit into the dust.

Go get some strong coffee.

As El-loco well knows. I am the handler and he is the handled.

Lucky you, we are just beginning with our winter :-(. But it's good for fires, backgammon and red wine

Good Afternoon (only just)

Just going to make a Frittata for hubby. Winning !!!

I have just tried to tidy Alfies hair as he was becoming an embarrassment.......now we're BOTH embarrassed.I'll have to take him out at night for a while.hahaha

Lets just say he looks nothing like my avatar pic.and leave it at that.Having said that he was only 4 or 5 in the pic.and he's 12 now.The years haven't been kind bless him,but he's had problems, like all of us.

Alfie is doing well then being 12 and still having fun with you.

Enjoying early morning win

How much toast are you making Wabbit, are you expecting visitors ???

Quick win before I dish up hubbys stew and dumpling.
I've just dyed a pair of shoes. They were bluish now they're black.I hope it doesn't rain when I wear them.hahaha
