soon be finished with home care nurses---light at the end of the tunnel.
The nurses have been excellent and it is too bad they are undervalued.

Nah carol we just saved for two years to have enough money to afford it. :). Still here till next wed. We have the air tattoo in the village this weekend. F14 s flying everywhere
 
I've been sitting here staring into space trying to think of something clever to say,but alas,I'm too tired.

But I will take the win.
 
We could do with the newbies having a bit more input though !!!!

I start the journey on Wednesday here. Get back NZ time Friday. We gain a day in our travels. Is it cold and wet?
 
nope its wet and cold, the kayaker paddling from Aus to NZ just gave up as he was rolled in big swells last nite and injured. not far from New Plymouth. hes been paddling for 3 months.
 
don't know, I think he has spent to much time on Aus with the Australians. we haven't been able to get out fishing for nearly a month, its been so rough.
 
Talk about Phsychic,I was going to write that !!!

Been up the coast for a ramble and a picnic.We have a beautiful coast which we sometimes take for granted.Then went to a country park and fed the swans and cygnets,and geese and ducks.Nearly got knocked flat in the rush.
 
Sounds like a great way to spend your day. It's always nice to take advantage of the weather whenever one gets the chance.
 
Okay, now I'm jealous - winning while working - doing accounting, payroll and other insidious stuff while the sun shines and it's beautiful outside - but still winning
 
I'm an accountant too so there's never an end of what to do...Sun shining and it looks like a perfect summer day but the temp is hot and the humidity feels unbearable. Think I'll stay in the cool air conditioning for the win.
 
Ah,the grass is always greener............ hahaha.

I'm now sitting down for the evening,all done in,but happy.

Home cooked fish and chips prepared for lunch,laundry done,crossword done,1st dog walk done,tidy up done...........Oh,I hate to be smug but I can't help it.!!!

safe travels Kirsty, but I don't know where you will land as its still blowing a gale here, so Wellington will be even worse.
