Story time: when I was young I had a tree fort. At the base of the trunk was a small hollow. It was real cold so I lit a fire in the hollow of the trunk...anyway smoke came from everywhere. My father walked up the path coming home from work and said "everything alright in there?" I said "fine" as I stomped the flames out. Dad went inside I ran next door to get a bucket of water to put it out.
 
On xmas eve the tree (artificial) was left on the table with the painstakingly decorated cake and a drink for santa and carrots for the reindeer.At 5am me and my brother got up to see if " he'd " been.He had,so we thought we'd light the candles on the tree.Let's just say we ruined the tree and the cake and santa nearly came back for the presents.The tree was a family heirloom,but I recall it wasn't the prettiest xmas tree ever.R.I.P tree.
 
Last win for today before I go and lie in a darkened room to recover from all the excitement.

There isn't enough work here to do to occupy my time so I get bored way too often. At least I'm winning though.

Having a nice cup of proper English tea and my latest book is near my elbow pleading to be opened,All the doors and windows are open as it really warm today.

Carol, he's going to have a ct scan. Also got blood tests etc to get done. Still got jetlag. :-(

Fine spirits here today. Actually a return trip from Iowa for a family funeral. Day 3 of road travel. And winning.
