I'm having one of my (rare) stuck for words days.

I might come back later....or I might not.

I'm going to press the new multi button to see what it does,on Dougs post above.

Morning all, I hope that everyone had a good weekend.
Trysha, I'm sorry that someone could possibly be so self centered and rude that they would push another person obviously also in medical distress out of the way, she is very lucky that you are a kind person and didn't whack her with your walker and I'm really glad that you are "mostly okay", I hope that the "vertigo" like symptoms go away quickly.

Carol, don't run out of meds.

Trev keep your body parts.

Shanen, I hope that you enjoyed your weekend off and don't let the work crowd get you down this week.

Kirsty, I hope that you are feeling better and that your sugar levels are okay - have a better week this week.

Carol - as always thanks for being you and I hope that this week finds you happy and healthy and getting your sense of humor back into gear.

Dave - nice to see you back here.

Ducky and Robert - it would be nice to see more of both of you I hope that you have a good week and are both feeling well

Doug, sorry I missed your birthday and I hope that you had a great time and are feeling well also. Have a good week and a better year this year!

Did I miss anyone? Not on purpose that's for sure. Winning :ghug::rosette1:

Okay, Where is the edit button?????

Should be Sandy don't run out of meds.....sorry my bad. Was typing quickly and composing on the run - WHO STOLE THE EDIT BUTTON?

I got all the 1's on the page number. That's neat. Hubs comes home tonight. He's been at university in Christchurch.

They are doing this just to test us. Now we will have to actually be extra careful and actually read the post before sending - sneaky really sneaky. Winning

the surgeon is confident that the cancer is contained in my kidney and he can remove it and I will be as good as new, well apart from being half blind, going deaf and crohns that is. just waiting for a date. still winning.

Oh, Trev! I'm so glad they caught it early enough. But still, the "C" word? That is scary! And I'm confused, do they need to remove a kidney, or just a tumor? You are in all of our thoughts and/or prayers. Overall, still, that is good news, and hold on to that thought. :ghug:

Trev, I'm guttered re the fact you have cancer in your kidney. It is good news that they can remove it and you will be good. What the treatment and timeline? What hospital will you go to for the operation?

12c here,at least 8c lower than it should for late July.

I know,I know it's not the weather thread.just saying !!!

Back later,if you like.

Trysha [emoji301]️[emoji473][emoji300]️[emoji100][emoji98][emoji97] thinking cool thoughts for you.

You're confusing me Duck. Krypton as in Superman krypton? And what did I say that was so offensive? Do you need an extra hug? I'm getting a headache...

Ok, I'm a little slow the last couple of days (really am on the edge of a migraine). And I'm glad you explained your krypton reference. Sounds like an interesting concept for a show.

Ladies?
Robert,Ducky and Doug are just sitting back and letting me ramble.

!

Yep, we are just using Dave as the advance guard to wear you down. Then we move in for the win. Shame Dave never made the ATeam. Just Trev, Doug, Trysha and me now. The Duck would never be in a Team, so that's okay.

Who would have thought Doug was finally the same age as me!

How are you witches? Cauldrons still bubbling away?

Grumpy - stop being nice to me, you will never, ever, get into the A Team!

Carol, just stop it.

Kirsty, Sandy, oh why do I bother!

Never fear Robert, I wasn't being nice and I don't want to be on the A team, and yes my cauldron is bubbling.

Nice to read you though! What have you been playing at, off hiding somewhere licking your war wounds or just enjoying a nice cigar and some peaceful moments?

Winning

Life is short, play hard.
Robert, welcome back :). You bother cause you care, you big softy.

Thought I would share this with my Crohny Friends.

I went the GI doc yesterday. We decided to eliminate some meds. The Sacralafate (which just coats the stomach - helps heals ulcers - is gone. And, drum roll ...................... in a month I will begin to phaze out Budesonide! I am so excited to begin eliminating meds!

Humira, will stay on as the first line of defense against Crohn's.

So I will declare myself the winner!

Here comes Robert....tripping the light fantastic...
Good to hear from you
Still surviving the heat wave looking for cool...
Winning...

Thanks to all, you make me laugh when I so need to laugh. I have an iron - I think it still works...I haven't had it plugged in in 7 years and no I am not wrinkled. Well at least my clothes are not. Hope all have a wonderful day and a great weekend and that good health finds you doing what you enjoy most! Winning

I've got an iron too. It's used when I need to dress respectable for weddings and funerals. And job interviews Otherwise, it's taking up space at the very top of my closet. I received an ironing board from my mother-in-law as a wedding shower gift many (many) years ago. Been in the closet long enough that it still looks new.

And Robert...let's keep it simple. No ideas above my station as I've reached my goal of perfection. :rosette2:

Now my Hugs and Thanks have disappeared and replaced with Multi
What is happening back at the ranch.......
I thought I was winning......

You'll find a discussion on the new posts thread Trysha.
You might understand it better than I did.:yfaint:

I also have a touch of OCD when it comes to my house and office - just don't like to iron. If it ain't wrinkle free it ain't hanging in my closet. No scruffy here just determined not to iron.
Winning

Thought I'd stop by for my daily win. Iron is ready to use ... as a wall decoration hanging along with my ironing board on a rack, which I use more as a hat hanger than anything else.
Ducky, did you get the updated version of Windows?

Ducky, did you get the updated version of Windows?

No, as my laptop broke three months ago. Thought I'd wait until windows ten was released, and any major bugs squashed, before getting a desktop.

Also, Intels Skylake processor is released for desktop this month, which should make there other processors a bit cheaper.

In 1970 the Procrastinators Club of America demanded a full refund for the Liberty Bell from London's Whitechapel Foundry because it had cracked in 1835.
The foundry graciously agreed-provided the defective item could be returned in its original packaging.

Winning

It sounds like, because of "search engine optimization," the only way to edit a quote now is to ask a moderator and that we only have a twenty-four hour period in which to do so if we want to. (I asked J. in the announcement section to clarify that. I hope I'm wrong. )

At any rate, I'm winning now.

Aaarrrrggghh! This is the reason I want that edit button. I meant edit a post, not edit a quote, above.:ybatty:

I often use the edit button to correct spelling etc.,It's going to be a bit of a faff to contact a moderator to do so.Apparently the multi button is a mistake also.

May I apologise to you all in advance for my bad grammar, spelling and misplacing commas and apostrophies etc.

Yes, issues that needed to be addressed, maybe, but they've gone a bit Tory in the zealousness of it all.

I misspoke. Jennifer said, in response to my inquiry:

"You have 24 hours to edit your own post. After that then you will need a Moderator to help you. This forum allowed the most time I've ever seen on any forum for editing posts. Others only give a few hours and some don't allow you to edit at all. If this doesn't work out then I think the time frame can be adjusted as needed."

That's more reasonable. I thought it odd, as mods would have spent there lives correcting spelling.

Didn't realize the edit option was changed. Good thing I'm not a staff member...oh,wait a minute. :confused2:

Ps I have lost the Hug and Thanks. Buttons now......
What is the world coming to?

I'm on my phone right now. I'll log on on a laptop. I haven't experienced these problems.

When this you see remember me
No hugs no thanks....just spaces blanks...
Thanks for taking a look Dave
I did let Jennifer know and she is contacting the designer
Cheers!

Now that would be a fun button, a "cheers" button.:ycool:

Evening win after a great day in the garden [emoji41] now just checking spelling....seems ok....pushing send

I got a new home computer - yay! So I can now talk from home again... aren't you guys lucky. if we don't have an edit button how are we supposed to edit our own posts, even if it is within 24 hours? I spent my day setting up my new toy (computer) and washing the floors and vacuuming the carpets, tomorrow is laundry and gardening, Monday is a holiday here so that day is just for me (maybe). I hope that everyone has a great day tomorrow.
Winning :ghug:

Type slowly, re read each word, have a dictionary next to you if needed. When finished. Re read again before pushing send ;)

I think everyone should hug and thank Trysha since she doesn't have those buttons (we need to share :)), that is, until she gets those buttons back.
Robert just needs hugs all the time (still).:rof:

Alas....buttons still MIA......
And it's such a lovely sunny day...
Winning......

Winning......

But -- Trysha --- I find my post above hugged and thanked by you. Is there a ghost or something hiding the buttons we want and "pushing our buttons" we don't see? :ywow:

Oh, I'll bet you got your buttons back.
:dance::dance::dance:
(I hope. )

all psyched for kidney op and now they have delayed it for a month. gives me more time to stress about it, good news is the electrician has just finished wiring for our new kitchen. now for a long win.....

:wink:I was wondering the same, how do we edit our own posts if there's no edit button ???

That's terrible Trev.,:rosette2:I hope you weren't actually at the Hosp.when they cancelled. It happens all to often over here.

Could you not get the Sparky to have a look at your Kidney ???

Don't know where the top line of above post came from.
Well,I mean I know I posted it over the weekend, but WHY has it appeared above ?????

Trev, how considerate of them to give you more time to stress. :voodoo: Nice to hear the kitchen is done.

Oops, I need an edit button.

The Multi button allows you to quote multiple messages. But obviously I have not figured out how to use it, except by accident.

Ok,if you use the multi by accident, how do you edit it so you can correct it ???

Old Saying........If it ain't broke ,don't fix it !!!

I was just thinking, wouldn't it be nice to have edit buttons for a lot of things in life? Food for thought for the day. With that, I am winning.

But -- Trysha --- I find my post above hugged and thanked by you. Is there a ghost or something hiding the buttons we want and "pushing our buttons" we don't see? :ywow:

:dance::dance::dance:
(I hope. )

Sandy the buttons I pushed were yours

Maybe the programmer is MIA.......
Sorry to hear what happened to you Trev...it appears hospitals are cuing in to the failed UK and Canada health programmes
It also appears that
The lay administrators swallow up so much money and claim that healthcare is a business
What can be done to reverse such appalling attitudes?
Hope your kitchen is out of t,his world for you to enjoy

Well it's dads cornea graft today. If only the cornea hadn't been courted to the wrong island! It went to the South Island instead of Wellington. But they flew it back and dads now in theatre?

Hope Dads op. went well K., I expect he's recovering now and glad it's over.

Have just been trawling through the supermarket reading labels re; Crohns,Pre-Diabetes and forthcoming GB removal. It's not easy, let me tell you.

And the forum is running really slowly today !!!! Off for a walk in the park.....laters xxx

I'll try and speed it up for you by winning. A fodmap diet is good for diabetes and crohns just limit high starch foods.
