Yes, but should be in bed. It is late! I have my MRI tmro. I didn't get it last week because of technical difficulties with their machine. I am going to a better one at a diff. hosp. How are you today?

middle off the night win. Mary, only those from Utah know what the prize is, because we are going to win. it's a well-known fact. it's all thru the old version of last one wins.
you can move here if you want. we already adopted Kirsty.
:ghug:

Dentist - Tesco - gym - work - that's my morning so far. I felt like loading the trolley up with Easter Eggs this morning.

I'm surprised you had money left for Tesco after your trip to the dentist.......Don't send me an Easter Egg mind, they're a waste of money.Too much box and not enough Chocolate.

An eight o'clock win for me. In the a.m. So unlike me.

Bobby Bear, stay away from those chocolates, or you will have another trip to the dentist.

I guess most of my pain comes from working, (cleaning). I was fine mostly yesterday till I cleaned for Dana. now my whole bod hurts! If only I could quit!!!:confused2:

I guess your post above was what they call a "clean win" Teresa.
I wish you just didn't hurt so much.

.You should have married for money instead of good looks T. You've only yourself
to blame.Hope you get good news today though.:ghug:

Winning:lol2:

I'm working on developing new systems for the old dogs in this house to keep it clean. I believe we have the kitchen figured out, except I want to get my juicer moved where it is more accessible so I'll use it better.

Yes,it's good to keep it handy.Mines on the work bench next to the sink,so washing and chopping veg and cleaning the machine is all done in one place.

WINNING

It does seem to be gone. Made it thru my half a day here yesterday and then for a haircut after that. How are you, Sandy girl?

that it's the kind of set up I need. I have a perfect spot to put it if I can find places for a couple of other things. almost there.

I've had a lot of weird things going on myself this week, but I think I'm recoverining well, thanks. I wish I had been hooked up to that EEG machine while it was going on. I get the five day video EEG starting Monday and have a sense of dread and hopeful at the same time. I want more answers.

I sometimes wonder what migraines look like, if anything, on an EEG.

Isn't that the truth - it's like buying an exercise bike - putting it in the corner and hanging things on it.

Cheryl - you didn't have to start on me did you? Just could not help yourself - and I was going to compliment your new hair cut - fat chance now!

Well, I haven't gotten to give you much of a hard time this week, so....when I can, I must. lol!

Sandy, I think a migraine would be very red. But I could be wrong, lol!

Aaarrrggghhh! just got a call from my doctor's office. My insurance won't cover the test thru the provider they had set up. the only one they will cover for a five day test its the hospital where I had to stay last year. aaarrrggghhh! aaarrrggghhh!

(I would think red on the migraine also Cheryl.)

Will that other hospital let you do it from home as well?

nobody I know, neurology-wise, had ever heard that they do. (Relatively few neurologists in Utah). However, the insurance, (insurance company for state employees, Doug works for the state), is saying yes they do, but Doug would have to drive me the 30-45 minutes each way every day to get the readings off the machine. plus the time at the hospital. with me going out with electrodes on my head each day. And Doug at a critical time with his work. Oh, joy.

Wonder if you can call insurance (as don't we all just LOVE to call them) and see if they will make an exception and cover the hospital you need them too. I hate insurance companies.....grrrrr

Me too. GrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRR! My doc's office and the insurance company just got through arguing about it. insurance company was emphatic that no, they wouldn't cover it through other place (just an ambulatory EEG service, not a hospital). I've got the name and number and I'm trying though. You would think it would be less expensive for them.

I'm heading off to face my juicer now. thank you for letting me vent.

devon cream scones with strawberry jam with a nice cup of tea please Robert

Look you are all getting mugs of Yorkshire tea and a pack of Rich Tea's to share - and that's it! I only have five mugs - 4 x white ones from Ikea and a football one - first come first served!

and a white mug would be ok but prefer a Royal Albert china cup, the tea tastes
better that way

Trysha there will be no Royal Albert China or butter - it is what it is - Kirsty has the right idea.

hi guys, Kirsty if you were still here in Omokaroa, i would have made you a cuppa.

Wow, I need some tea, any left? Went to get my 1 and a half hr. MRI with contrast. OMG my back hurt so bad laying in that hole all that time, then hold your breath let it out 100 times! Yes it sucked! I am still hurting. They put this big plastic heavy duty thing on top of me that takes the pictures. The magnet is hot! You'd think I was haivng a sexual experience with all that banging and breathing and not breathing! Then can barely get up!!!:lol2:
PS had to get two back to back. One for abdomen, then one for pelvis area.

If you come to my house it will be Royal Albert china though...
and best tea....
and scones with devon cream and strawberry jam.....

I have my own tea here allready.. and cookies to. So I will pass on Roberts tea (he would somehow end up taking it away from me anyways) ;)

Teresa, I dont think its the magnet that is hot. Did they inject something (iodine) into your bloodstream? That gives a hot feeling and a feeling of having to pee.

It's dinnertime Travis. on Thursday. All you New Zealanders have the time the most messed up. Everyone else is wrong too. The Utahns know what time it is, 6:15 p.m. and winning time.

we have the best time Sandy cause its the weekend tomorrow and you lot have to wait another day...yay.

Doug works 40 hours in four days, we get three day weekends! Yay!

You could move to Utah, Trev. There is some good lake and steam fishing.

you are definitely your own person Mary. that is why I like you.

this is a going out to dinner win.

No, I had that in the catscan. They shoot metal into your veins for this one.
But they said the magnets do make it hot because they put them on your body! Weird.

I am still up as usual. Just watched the last hr. of a great movie with Jeff Daniels and Melanie Griffith and Ray Liotta. It was from 1986. Oh the hair and clothes back then! It was funny and sad. I forget the name though, sorry!
How was Red Lobster Sandy? If you ate lobster without me i'm going to bee mad!:ymad:

Enjoy the beach hop. I just done my shot. Now lying down feeling sorry for myself knowing my weekend will be restful and wishing I had energy, 20 years younger etc

what are you still doing up T? you okay? I'm praying everyone feels better. No lobster tonight, I did have shrimp and scallop linguine and a nice nap after watching "Perry Mason," "I Love Lucy" and during "My three Sons." nostalgia night on tv.

he just said tired, but good. he had a long couple of days at work. are you recovered from the *** yet? wasn't that last night? or today? I'm getting my days mixed up. sorry your tummy is bothering you.

Wow.. I did not know they did that. These things just get getting weirder and werder. What will they be doing to us next. :eek2:

But I win.. thats one thing for sure. ;)

I hope so, I tend to be a bit tired the day after. My kidneys are giving me a hard time with it too much acid. I've emailed my ibd nurse.

Oh and just heard my grandpa has had a stroke and is in the hospital. He is nearly 90 and even I dont know I dought the prognosis is very good. So just waiting to hear the next of the news. Hes my dad's dad and lives in Washington so I wont get to see him.

He has done very well to be 90, maybe you send an email to a relative who could read it out to him ?

My dad who is 87 just had a stroke not too long ago. He is still in a rehab center, but expected to go home.

I think hes about 87 or 88.. just cant remeber. But close to 90 anyways. Hes been in ok shape for a long time, but his legs are not good and I can't imagine he will recover if he has paralyzed to walk again. Also he has his share of alcohol too so that never helps anyone recover. But I have no idea how intense or small the stroke has been. Just know that he is in the hospital.

Thanks Aura, that e-mail is a good idea. I will send one to my aunt once I talk to her and know more what the situation is. Want to know if i wish him recovery or a safe and calm passing. And my aunt is so much more reliable with this kind of info then my dad.

Thanks for the support.
I am so happy I visited them thanks giving 2011.

To be honest i dont think they think of me much. Out of sight out of mind... you know. I never hear anything from them.. not even a christmas card. And I send them one every year with a letter in it too. I used to try and have even more contact. But its hard if you never get anything back. And they have 7 other grandkids so who cares about the one across the world. :p But they are the most lovelyest people when you are around them.

I still hold to they are lucky to have you. I'll bet they think about you more than you know. I'm sorry you don't get much acknowledgement though.

Well. Gues I won't know that. I learnd to deal with it. Was harder when I was a teenager. Atleast my dad has finally learned to keep in touch.

Anyways.. I am off to get some grocerys. My mans mom and dad are stopping by... well basically just dropping him off here and not planning to come in and visit, but I plan to make some dinner and see if I can loure them in to join us for it. If not... more food for us then. ;) Menu is salmon with a mascarpone-spinach "dressing", broccoli and a salad.. and maybe a smoothie for dessert.
