Wow.. I did not know they did that. These things just get getting weirder and werder. What will they be doing to us next. :eek2:

But I win.. thats one thing for sure. ;)

I did not know either till a man explained to me that I could go into anafalactic shock and die if I am allergic to it. Or get some weird fibrosis disease that they have no cure for...HMMMM Did I really need to know this before entering the chamber?????:hallo3:

Well. Gues I won't know that. I learnd to deal with it. Was harder when I was a teenager. Atleast my dad has finally learned to keep in touch.

Anyways.. I am off to get some grocerys. My mans mom and dad are stopping by... well basically just dropping him off here and not planning to come in and visit, but I plan to make some dinner and see if I can loure them in to join us for it. If not... more food for us then. ;) Menu is salmon with a mascarpone-spinach "dressing", broccoli and a salad.. and maybe a smoothie for dessert.

If they refuse, let me know. I'm getting hungry!:lol2:

To be honest i dont think they think of me much. Out of sight out of mind... you know. I never hear anything from them.. not even a christmas card. And I send them one every year with a letter in it too. I used to try and have even more contact. But its hard if you never get anything back. And they have 7 other grandkids so who cares about the one across the world. :p But they are the most lovelyest people when you are around them.

Just keep killing with kindness I guess and eventually things might change.

Just made some delicious tuna salad and put on a big pot of chicken soup. I dare say you will need it after this weather!!!:ghug:

chicken soup, YUM! It would be good with our weather, too. It is snowing! If you don't like the weather during spring in Utah, wait ten minutes. It will change.

I'm winning too, forgot to say.

Also winning because I get to have my originally scheduled five day (although privacy invasive) EEG on Monday. Don't have to have it thru the hospital. YAY!

Dare me? Have you not seen the forecast for the midwest this weekend? Winter snow warning for tomorrow, 5-9 inches! And.....chances of snow or mix thru next Wednesday I believe.

:ghug: we had a small snow fall last night and the night before, but it melts in the day. you need to move to Utah!

Kansas City got some the last 2 days similiar to that, we didn't see any of it the last 2 days, but KC's melted off too. I can't believe this weather, last Friday it was 80 degrees and I was actually sweating at 6 p.m.

Sandy, my girlfriend in Nevada was taking the winter clothes out of her closet this morning and putting out her summer stuff.

the biggest past of the population of Utah is at a much higher elevation than most of Nevada's population, and therefore a lot colder than Nevada. I couldn't deal with their heat! ( Doug's brother and sister live there, near Vegas, in Henderson.) We were in the mid seventies ourselves last week. weird, huh?

My friend is in Vegas right now, but she's lived in Henderson, lol. You know, I was there in 1989, was amazed at the temps, but only because to me, it didn't seem as hot as the thermometer said, as they don't have the humidity we have. So their 105 felt like our 85 to me.

Us too, our weather has been changed to snow. Before they said it would be rain.:ymad:

I'm hungry for homemade veggie soup! (For those of you outside of the midwest, when we say homemade veggie soup, the beef is implied)

I'm stuck in bed for the day I'm too weak to do anything. Why you stuck in van?

Only when you say something with subtext and we want to find out what's really happening.

I'm like the blunt edge of a spanner, tomboy in that sense. I am feeling the same as you. I get jealous of mates with energy

It's my right hip too and right knee of late that's been achy. Tomboys unite :)

Come to think of it, the first year I was diagnosed with Crohn's, my knees and ankles had so much arthritis in them it was awful every day till about noon. The GI told me it just goes along with Crohn's and flares.

Every time we go on vacation, mine gets up at 5am and goes out taking photos of nature while I sleep. Then he brings me coffee and breakfast around 9am.. Then we drive everywhere pretty much now because I can only walk so far and not so fast. I used to run rings around everyone. No more!:confused2:We are going to the Outer Banks of S. Carolina and Nagshead for a vacation as soon as the weather breaks down there. Too cold even down there!
