Long enough Sanni,me now...............What's everyone doing over the Easter Holidays ?We were hoping to get away with the caravan but all our favourite places are snowed in.And if there's a thaw it will be very wet.So not much fun.Looks like long dog walks,TV,and chocolate for us.
 
Going to my son's place and bringing my Grandson along. Making potato and macaroni salad. Barb is making ham and veggie tray and other sides.WIN>:ghug:
 
We are off to the countryside to my aunts place tomorrow for my cousins sons babtism that will be on saturday. 4 hour drive there.. blah. I gues we will be visiting other relatives too. Hope the back yard wont be too wet and muddy and melted because they have a dog too and I hate having to wash my dod 5+ times a day becaus he cant come in muddy. The other dog can stay ourside so its not that much of a problem with them but my poor boy will freeze if I let him be out for too long.

AAAWWWEEE!!! Let him play and get dirty, it's good for the soul!!! LOL. I am at a wedding Sat. at my church. I am helping prepare 25lbs. of potato salad for that today. My hands will be hurting! I got the girl a Romance lantern to hang in her bedroom. It is black wrought iron withGlass colored teardrop shaped stones that form flowers on the sides. I bought a battery operated scented candle for inside. It is so pretty. I hope she loves it!!!It is big, over a foot tall.

Oh I definately will let them play for as much as they will. Love having a tired dog home after a weekend like this. Just now that they are both neutured they seem to play a bit less (or because they are more grown up and not puppys anymore). But I hope he runs himself out this weekend.

It's Good Friday here, I'm in bed with a coffee. I got over 30 mosquito bites on Wednesday night , I'm totally itchy

get yourself a mossie net for the bed.
 
I was outside in the garden at dusk. How's Kati? Same crew there as last year?

I swear, once it dries. you forget about them completely. Just don't scratch and it will stop then. I apply a new coat every six hrs. after washing it off. Gotta go take a nap! Long day making potato salad and cutting up hams.:yfaint:
 
11 bites on left leg, 24 on right leg, 2 on left arm, 12 on right arm therefore the right side is the sweet side :)
 
if you sleep with the fan on, the mossies cant land, and wont bite u.

a few new faces here kirsty.

omg.. I so feel for you. I hate mosquito bites. They swell up and make bruises on me. Hope T's remedy helps. Let us know so we can try it too this summe.

Sleep well Sanni, yes it does work, probably until Wolf comes in and decides I am dessert nd tried to lick it all off, he's a crazy cat

thats my selective hearing, i only hear what i want to.

hi all! I've missed you. I keep falling asleep at prime talking time. I get to wear my new "electric" hat until Sunday, since I've had no fuel seizures. Figures. Have them all the time until I (sort of) want to. I hope I can get the paste out of my hair in time for church.
I'm anxious to try out the tooth past remedy because when mosquitos are around, they attack me, bug spray and all. (I'm just to sweet. :biggrin:) But you are correct Sanni and Kirsty, my dog would definitely try to lick it off. When I put lotion on, I have to "hide" from her for awhile until it is absorbed.
 
Hi Sandy I'm just resting and sleeping today. Two tramal made no difference to my right groin, hip pain :(

I'm sorry Kirsty! also sorry I didn't stay around long enough to answer right when you posted. Believe it or not, I was swating at a couple mosquitos right then, and going to post about it, but then doggy wanted out and Doug got home. I'm easily distracted. :rof:

I promised Carol tickets to the premier when the film is released, and the same goes for all my friends. it is sure to be quite the (yawn) thriller. Sandy sleeping all night, Sandy taking a morning nap, Sandy taking an afternoon nap, Sandy picking her nose( just kidding.)

Scotland is notorious for the dreaded Midge,they fly past hubby to bite me.A few years ago,while caravanning in Glen Coe,one of the dogs needed to be out very early in the morning.As no one was about,I just stepped out in my night-shirt.Believe me,I had bites where I didn't know I had places.Now I know how the Highland Fling originated........And for that little anecdote I WIN
