Ok, you got me there. But to be honest Robert Paulig was probably Swedish-Finn. I am wrong again.. his family is German (had to google that one).
 
I stopped procrastinating long enough to start losing... But atleast two assignments are submitted and one of my classes was cancelled today!! (amazing gift because i hadnt brought enough food with me)

been awake an hour or so.Tried counting sheep but they wouldn't stay still,so I'm in the lounge reading...............and winning.
 
Hi ladies! I heard my phone give a tone and knew somebody posted, but almost didn't wake up enough to post. I'm glad I did so I can say hi. Hi! :bigwave:
 
Doggy-sitting day. Have my friends dog for the day since she has a super long day away from home and we dont want the poor dog to be alone so long. So he is with me today. So far going good. Usually he can be a bit barking but he seems good now.

Also have a dentist later on to clean my teeth. Other then that its a sunny day.. so should try and go out with these 2 boys.

Oh and I win!

But I have to go soon because my friend will be here to pick up hor pooch in just a bit.
 
Carol is busy obviously and Clynn is working and Idi, who knows where he has gotten too? Sandy is getting her beauty sleep and Trev is traveling. Who else am I forgetting? Aura is sleeping too or having fun with hubs.
 
Its been good. Both dogs are behaving really well. I am impressed. But they are such girls when going out on a walk. Neither will step in a puddle. My friends dog wont walk on the melting ice if it creckles under his feet AND he does not really like the gravel either. lol. So really hard to walk with them when its a sunny day and the snow onthe walkways is melting.

Still enjoy beer on a rare occasion when I am allowed. Love real man's football! Also I have been know to toke a cigar years ago too. You got here about 20 yrs. too late for what you would consider the most desirable.:lol2:

Have to get ready to leave for my follow up appt. to get MRI results for my kidney. I'll let you know when I get back what they were. Prayers plz!
 
Winning.......tired after a sleepless night though,and been out and about since early this morning.Alfie's asleep,let's hope he stays that way for a while.
 
Tired here too, Carol. Should have gotten enough, just didn't sleep well. At least the sun is shining today, that helps a bit.
 
We've nearly forgotten what the sun looks like here.It's been grey for so long.Very depressing.Have any of my friends had any experience with Tramadol ? Have been prescribed it today,but am worried about side effects.
 
Sitting here at my desk for lunch...think I'm going to get another cup of tea and enjoy being in the lead for a little while at least!
 
And yes, those are a bit worrisome, Carol. But most may never happen, would be nice to know how others have responded.

thanks Cheryl,I read the leaflet and wasn't happy,also the doc wants me back for blood tests in 2wks to see if they're affecting my liver etc.He said I may feel light headed too.The web wasn't very positive either.I was just hoping someone would have something GOOD to say.We've got enough problems without adding to them.Thanks x
 
I just got back home from checking out my new pet that is staying at a friends untill I am ready to take it home with me. I got a tarantula (Mexican red knee) a couple days back. Its just a little baby still about 1inch from leg to leg. Naming it Toxin. Not much experience with spiders so relying on my friends to help out till I learn what to do with it. So exiting. So I win! Because this should scare you all away. hihi.

My MRI was fine so I thnk God again. No more MRI's just a sonogram every five yrs from my PC from now on! I am considered remission.:ghug:YAY!!!
 
Oh and T, great news about your MRI. We need (and deserve) good news in this forum now and then too.

still cold outdoors,but have had the heating AND the clothes drier on,so nice and cosy,if a bit poorer.:eek2:

(and to Teresa, I didn't stay away on purpose actually, just had too much to do while tethered to my electrodes. Visitors to see my funny hat and such.)
We know you two aren't the devils you portray yourselves to be. Just a teddy bear and a bunny rabbit. but don't stop pretending if pretending is part of you, though. It doesn't matter, I will win in the end.
Today the sun is shining here, although I'm stuck in the house being video taped 24/7, and I can hear the birds sing. I can feel it is going to be a great and wonderful day the rest of the day.

Well after all that effort I think Sandy deserved to win for a little longer - but it would not be in the spirit of the game.

Robert--you need to take a few days in a nice warm picturesque spot---get rid of some winter blues.
Failing that ---maybe a glass of smooth velvety wine of exquisite aroma and taste.,
while sitting comfortably by a roaring fire.
