Hi Trev
Still recovering from an infection nobody has identified yet., happened two weeks ago and started with a rigor, so I was stuck in hospital.
Saw the GI today and he said this happens with crohn's and they can't always locate the problem .Main thing is that it is getting better but liver enzyme ALT is high so is white cell count, etc..
Never a dull moment.
How are you these days---you had a bad time with your eyes..

hey everyone, Glori is having a repeat port placement surgery in just a few hours, since the last one failed. With her RSD, I know things are a lot more complicated than a normal port placement surgery would be. She could really used some prayers and thoughts from those that know her, and even those that don't. She is an inspiring lady how she deals with all she goes thru. She also said hi and sent her well wishes and loves to all.

Holding off till just before bed. I'm waiting for hubs to bring tea. I'm just burying my face in my Pinot glass. Work was interesting this week.
 
I had to assert myself, and make someone listen to what I had to say before I would move on to solving issue. I had to hold them accountable for unprofessional comments.
 
I did get it sorted. People can be funny sometimes. Sometimes they are precious, sometimes defensive, don't want to cede or taking responsibility but we got there

Weather not as bad as it promised,but still needed a coat.Had a lovely "Birthday" pic-nic on the side of Lake Windermere,sunny.Got perfume and jewellery from my darling,and a phone call from my son in Aus.Also a "Fly Past" from the RAF,but that might have been a co-incidence haha.

Well,at last !!!!! I've trawled through looking for my "Best Wishes" and NOTHING.Except one from the Crohns team,And a nice message from CrossStitchGal.Just goes to show,outta sight,outta mind........only kidding,I've never made a big thing out of my birthdays,ever.This is the first time in years I've had a present from Les.What's he been up to eh ?........Nice to be back.

I'm back and determined to win Trev :) ...Sorry about your eye, I have a sight problem due to diabetes and know it's no fun :( :ghug:

Doing pretty good right now. Thankyou. My son just got a fulltime mecahnic job near where he lives. So, I am happy about that! He had been looking for months!Hope you keep feeling better and better and your sister too!:ghug:

Went to a (much needed) therapy appointment today. She is going to start a kind of PTSD therapy for me .... regarding neurologists, non specialists I'm okay with. The only way I'll go to a neurologist in the next year is unconscious! it's a double celebration.
 
Stealing the win back. We deserve the win, Doug had to use a plumbing "snake" on my Mom's toilet to fix it, and we took her to dinner at a nice restaurant. I also made her chocolate covered strawberries. (A late mother's day present, because we couldn't get out there sooner.)
It was a nice visit, though. we win even if someone posts after. BUT DON'T YOU DARE!
 
Yes it does Kirsty. Do your effects hang around some times longer than others? it seems to with Doug. I hope yours goes away quickly. :hug:

Doug seems to be weaker than he used to be after shots Kirsty. I'm glad you were able to get something done, though. being sick is not for sissies. you have to be tough.
 
It's really not easy, is it ? I just wait for the day to finish. Hubs will be back from golf soon
 
Kirsty, what I'm trying to say is even though you have your health issues, you are one tough lady! I really admire you. And your smile.

somehow, the day does always finish. I'm glad you have your hubs, to o, but you should have gone golfing as well. or do you not like it? or not feel well enough?
I've never golfed. I'm deprived.
