I'm sure he is packing my bag. He needs a vacation too. (He ended up talking me to the ER for my migraine in the middle of the night the other night, it was really horrible, then I had a seizure the next day, first one in ages, which doesn't help his tummy that is giving him problems. )
I was freezing all night so 100° temps sound good right now. I used to get hot easily, way too easily, and now after years of that, I'm starting to go the other way. What's up with that?

aw Sandy,it's one thing after the other for you, isn't it ?
I've never had a migraine and rarely get headaches,so I haven't a clue what you're going through.I know it's pretty bad though.Just get through one day at a time, best you can,and try not to worry. Not easy with all you've to put up with I know.Big Hugs x

Sandy,Hope your feeling better x

Off for a run to the countryside.(in the car) Will stop off for a snack in a market town we often visit. My fave author has a new release and there's a good bookstore there.I could wait awhile until the supermarket gets it,it will be cheaper, especially if I wait for the paper back. But I love books and reading and buying one for me,is equal to the thrill others get from buying shoes etc.( I didn't mean to write all that, but you can tell how excited I am......I must get out more hahaha) Winning excitedly !!!

Feeling mostly better today, thanks! Even managed to cook a large hot breakfast, something I haven't done in ages.
P.S. I don't spend hardly any money on shoes, my "mad money" goes to craft supplies, and I must be mad, I hardly use them.

Hello Everyone....still very tired..
I bought two pairs of shoes while in England....perfect fit and comfortably stylish.
They use different lastes here and it's hard to get a good fit.
Saw the rheumatologist yesterday first time...he says I have osteoporosis....but not too bad yet.Rx magnesium , vitamin D2 and calcium. No physical evaluation surprisingly...just lab work.
Same with the neurologist...no physical evaluation...just take magnesium for migraines....ordered stacks of lab work.
I don't know how they reach conclusions without physical evaluation...together with the blood work.Medicine is no longer what it used to be...
However I am too tired to care.
Resting and enjoying the sunshine pouring through the many windows of my apartment.
Madhu...where are you...have you left for India.? Safe travels
Sandy I see you are having bad migraines...must be the time of year feel better soon...
Carol...would love to be with you for the book fair and a lovely ride in the green hills of England.
Mandy hope you are feeling better.
Winning.....

I would like to tell you all that I ran the London Marathon today, in my best time to date, of 2hrs 56seconds.........but I'd be lying .Maybe next year.

Hey Carol. Sorry to hear about the osteoporosis. I agree about the medicine now, they blindly order lab work before thinking about anything! Feel better soon.

I'm at the gate, ready to board. Waiting for Sandy ;)

Take care everyone. I ll pop in whenever I can :)

Have a good flight Madhu with lots of lovely airline repast.....may you arrive before you know you have left...just a bit of Irish for you.
Lovely sunny day today but cool temps.
I thought I saw you at the Marathon Carol...?....,!!
Still very weary....can't seem to pull myself together...tomorrow is another day
Cancer clinic check up.....it's like a zoo ....crowded lab ......then very crowded clinic...glad when it's over

Hi all, sorry I've been quiet, trying to get over nasty infection. Back on antibiotics. Still waiting on my docs re low serum copper results and what the next steps are. Blood sugars through the roof due to infection steroids etc, not allowed to drive till its cleared. Mainly cause I keep falling asleep when I hit 100kmph

Ah Kirsty,I wish there was something I could do or say, that would help.
Sending you hugs, and Sandy and Trysha of course. You three seem to be top of the "sick" list lately.

I am joining the sick category. I am in a flare. Been making multiple bathroom trips, usually with "D", sometimes explosive "D". On again, off again abdominal pains, and yesterday, Green poop. I have an appointment to see my G.I.'s physician's assistant on Thursday. (I would have had to wait until May 30th to see my G.I.) I hate crohn's!

I wish I could do or say something also Kirsty. I've been wondering how you are doing.

Since I missed the plane to India, I just found out there is a new direct flight to London from Utah. Don't be surprised if some of you end up with a house guest for a day or week or month. Tee hee. (Don't you just hate it when people show up at your place unannounced?)

Hi all, big hugs to those on the sick list..💕 smaller hugs to those on the not quite so sick list..💕
For those not on any sick list who heck are you n whats your secret lol..😆😆😆

Carol I love your quotes and words of wisdom
Shanen....hope the sun is shining for you after the rain
Sandy..you are welcome to drop into my place anytime...always have room for welcome visitors...we could have such conversations...
Winning.....

Hi Trysha glad to hear things are going ok for you. Thanks hun..
You take care and make the most of the free lunch n snacks girl. Hope the physio really helps:hug:💕

Oh Trysha, we could have some very interesting conversations indeed. I'm happy it was good news, but that sounds dreadfully frightening. Back to bed for me for a while as I'm fighting another migraine, not as bad as the other day, but bad enough. I Took a fiorecet an hour ago or I would not be able to post here. Why I feel a need to post when I know it doesn't help the situation at hand is beyond me, but I appreciate all of you for putting up with my gripes. Sometimes I just want to scream. I guess that's why I post when not well.
Argggggggghhhh!
There. I screamed. (Quietly so as not to wake further the migraine demons of sensitivity to light and sound.)

Hi Sandy....sorry to hear you are in the migraine doldrums.
At A recent visit with the neurologist he recommended I take Magnesium 500mg daily to stop the migraines and said it had been helpful to a number of patients
The rheumatologist because of my renal failure reduced the dose to 300mg daily,in two divided doses...150mg am and 150 mg pm.
So far so good.
Seems the time of year for migraine onslaughts.
Feel better soon...know how you feel....
Kirsty...hope you are a bit better today
Everyone get well and stay well.....
The sun is shining today and it's a balmy 12C......not taking off my winter coat yet.....
Winning......

Well it is france after all lol. X

I get to see the PA this afternoon. Of course my symptoms have decreased substantially after I made the appointment. Still not having much fun though. The "D" has been ruling my life the last several days.

I'll take my quiet win.

You weren't quiet enough, Mandy, I still heard you. But that is a good thing.:) Well, today Doug had his appointment at the GI office while I had a mammogram at the same time in another clinic. We've had enough doctors for a lifetime.
Just a humorous side note, just about every time I type out the name "Mandy," my auto correct feature changes it to "mammary." :rof:
Winning.

Haha Sandy...funny thing is i have been called a tit😉 and im always making boobs(mistakes)😃
Hope it does help with those nasty migraines hun. 💕😚

Sandy & Doug., More waiting for results I assume ? But as the saying goes, "Patience is a Virtue",and for some of us it's the only virtue we have,eh,Mandy ?

Not you two though, you both have the market cornered in virtue.x

I have been put on Entocort again. Will be on it for at least 2 months. The PA thinks this should put me back to remission. Waiting for results of blood tests. She ordered the battery of tests on the inflammation markers.

How much would you all hate me if I closed this thread and opened a new one? In all seriousness, huge threads like this can be rather taxing on the forum server. I'd let one of you win ;)

Hey ya everyone. Hugs to all those sick!

India is hot, hot, hot! But I still love it :)

Winning

You're the boss David,we are but minions in your empire.:rosette2:

But it must be understood by all, that I'm the champ,no arguments.:dusty:

I'm in Chennai. It's in the south of India, a state called Tamil Nadu. There is no winter here, it's hot all the time. I hate the American winter, so enjoying the sticky and sultry summer :D

You should visit India. There are a lot of beautiful places

Sounds great. I moved to South Florida because I hate the winter too :)

I hear there is a bad drought in India. Is your area affected?

No, it's not here. Chennai had a devastating flood in December. So I think we are good this year, but usually we are prone to drought, yes.

I had to Google what moringa is. We call it drumstick :D Yes it grows very well here, especially in May. It's peak season now. The smell is so good. We use it a lot in our food. It's rich in iron and also tastes so good when put in curry

We never eat it raw. Always cooked. It boils in the curry, and when we eat it, we open the stick and eat the stuff inside. The outer stick is always discarded

Yeah the leaves are cooked separately in water, and eaten when wilted. I hear the leaves are good to improve memory
