Gonna be out of town for the weekend with limited Internet so someone else is going to have to win for me.

Stones are AWFUL! Had them myself....

Hope the A Hole Dr's finally take you seriously and DO SOMETHING about the stones!.....Do you have anyone at the ER with you to be an advocate? I had to do that with my Mom last spring - Dr first dioagnosed her with CONSTIPATION.....before she went BACK to the ER via ambulance in pain...she had a stone causing a blockage and the backup popped a hole in her kidney! Thankfully everything turned out ok - but GEESH!

I had my sis inlaw here for a while, but she bolted. My kidney went from one huge stone to compacted with stones in like, a week. It blows. Soooooo much pain!!! Glad ur mom turned out ok!

I didn't think the pic was that bad! Lol! I hope I do too. I will be transfered by ambulance tomorrow first thimg for emergency surgery! Wooop fun...

Oh my, such a stressful time for you. :hug: Surgery is no fun but if it gets rid of the god awful pain it will be worth it ay?
 
Oh I'm sure you will feel soooo much better after the surgery!....good luck hun.....keep on them for pain meds!

I am having a pretty neat friday. i playd hookey from work a bit today. I only work past time (4hours per day) but today I was done with my work so fast. So I was only at work for just over 2 hours... and over 30 min of that was luch. lol Heck.. thay dont pay me so I dont feel bad at all. No one follows up on me anyways... aslong as my work is done. But now I can take a nap. :D Yay! WIN!
 
Nope my win, and im at work too, goign home in a bit though as wana spend some time with my girls, been one of those days.
 
I just talked to Jbug and they have her all medicated now. She is supposed to have surgery. I'll keep u posted when I hear anymore. She sends her love and gratitude for all who are concerned...:hug:

I ended up making an egg sandwich which fills the void but always ends up giving me a tummy ache. Have no reason as to why.
An old friend of mine lost his brother who was only 55. Just read obits. Sad, I know how that feels.
JBug was on phentynol so she is in no pain right now. I was up till 3am last night. I prayed the stones would just disappear and a nurse came in this morning and told her the stones are not there! I don't know what to think. JBug told her they have to be there! We'll see if it's a miracle or a mistake.:hug:

My friend, not to sure if i belive it or not, is a healer. This lady had bowel cancer, he prayed and said some things over her and touched her belly.

She went for her next appt and the cancer had gone.

i dont see how it can just dissapear but it did.

One last win before my man arrives any minute now. Dinner is just about ready. Chicken breas filled with bluecheeze and wrapped in bacon. Nom. Ill boil a broccoli to go with it.

Cheryl had a DR's appt today and then heading home.:hug: I talked to her breifly via PM. No sign of Carol. She's probably tired of dealing with us crazy gabbers who never shut up!!!:rof:
 
Wow what a night you have all had - Good morning all.

Loves to you Jen and good luck with feeling no pain and having surgery to remove the stones.

Today I make Christmas Cakes and help my friend prepare and organise her Christmas - she is having 3 families come together and is panicking about it all. So I will help to try and reduce the stress and make it easy for her.

The easiest way is to tell everyone to bring something and go barby and buffet style.

Hubs is playing golf today and I am the playing the kitchen queen:queen::chef:
 
He knows he will never be rid of any of us, lol! Doc thinks I need another course of antibiotic to get past the pluerisy symptoms, she wasn't convinced the bronchitis was completely gone yet either. So more antibiotic, which means I need to pick up yogurt and probiotics to keep the gut in check, lol! Just feeling tired, but ok other than that at the moment! Heard from JBug?

I read that u shouldn't take probiotics with some antibiotics because it kills the effects. Maybe ask ur Dr. Hope this time it all works and u get better completely. No, I haven't heard anymore from jen yet. I will let u know as soon as I do!
 
I'm going to see the new Twilight movie tonight! Okay, that is just a joke. My wife wants to see it! I'm trying to avoid it. I'm thinking maybe the new Bond movie. Will probably wait until Thanksgiving.

The new Bond movie is supposed to be great! would love to see that too. The heck with Twilight, it didn't get great reviews...
 
Believe it or not, I had a male customer in here yesterday who is dying to go see it when his wife showed him the previews on television! The twilight movie that is.

I heard they are just love stories with some gore thrown in. I never was much on vampire movies. They gross me out! Horror films in general unless they are like Steven Kings type. Love them.
 
I think you are probably right, Teresa! Yes, love Stephen King myself. Matter of fact, just re-watched the Green Mile last weekend so Faith could see it for the first time, she was amazed it was by Stephen King, since it didn't seem particularly scary to her as most of his stuff does.

He also did my fave, "The shawshank redemption" and "Delores Claybone" and "Misery". Did u know that? The guy who was in the "Green Mile" just died of a heart attack a few weeks ago! Very sad! The big guy who was the sta:(r!

Yes, that was just on as an all day marathon. It paralled the last days quite well I thought. It was kind of Biblical about the antichrist. I really was shocked by that when I watched it, brilliant!

I love Stephen King. He is my favorite writer. I just recently wrote a short story about my crohn's, prednisone and a ceramic garden gnome that we own. Maybe I will publish it on my blog.

I'm sure the book was amazing too, even more so than the movie. I think my daughter read it too. She was such a great writer till she got on drugs and it robbed her of that!!!:(

There was a huge stone and then it kind of broke up into all these pieces. They were hoping she would pass them, if not they would do the surgery. Then this happened and to me, it's a miracle...

I did find one movie that cured my Prednisone insomnia - WALL-E.
I suppose the Twilight movies could serve a similar purpose?

I'm really looking Forward to "Lincoln," a local movie reviewer just have it gave rave reviews.

Not that this has anything to do with the above, but Doug just read to me about "the spoon theory" on the forum thread but you look so good. If you haven't read that, you have to, all you sickies.
