I've been winning for a long time. Anybody there? I might have to go soon. We are at the stadium for an AMERICAN football game. I tried to get a picture of the cheerleaders just four you Robert (they were right in front of me for a while) but I just got the sunlight. Sorry. I really did try.

Back for the win! Had a great time. We did go to Jon Bonnet's Restaurant. I had cod and cole slaw. It was so good. Mike had the French dip and cole slaw and fries. His was good too. It is an hour drive up there through mountains and the trees are starting to change already!!!:)

:kiss

:rof:i'LL JUST BET YOU DID!!!:dance::dance::dance:

I'm ignoring you Robert (and maybe you too Teresa, angel lady. Quit making me laugh and trying to explain to Doug. I could have said something here, by accident mind you, and they would have stopped the thread.)

Our Utes game isn't until 8:00, but because parking is horrible and I have to park in the so-called handicapped section, we have to be there two hours early normally. Since this is the "holy wars" as they call it (or big, big rivalry Brigham Young University), we will probably have to leave about 4:00. 2:00 East coast time. Now that stinks!:stinks:

You may have to start wearing Depends if you keep laughing so hard! I'm glad I can give you all such joy!:rof::rof::rof:

WHO WON???????

Ah thanks Sandy - I would've liked that. Maybe next time
At least YOU believed me Robert. Missy in Penn, who did win their game big time (something to nothing wasn't it?) doesn't know the Ute tradition of the team coming into the stadium, preceded by the band and the cheerleaders. The cheerleaders were on the sidewalk performing right in front of us until the football team arrived ... 30 minutes late. I could never get a good setting on my phone camera as I was pointing it right into the sun, and I'm a lousy photographer. I'll bet she also won't believe me if I tell her we had to win three times (strangest ending I have ever seen), and the game wasn't over until one minute before midnight. :ytongue::ywow::applause::cheers::award2:

GJ, I'm glad your team won too. It seems like a winning night for the American collegiate football, doesn't it? Almost 2:00a.m., but I think we are all winners tonight, until I post next, then I will be.

Love ya, Teresa!

Our Utes won last night, three times very interesting game, and an ending(s) I don't think anyone has seen the likes of.

My Steelers just won too. 27-10. I told you Robert I wouldn't have to eat crow this week!!!:stinks:
Sure am happy. Sandy, glad the Utes won too! Yeah!!!!:dance::dance:
Hope you had a nice weekend! Finally made it back to church today.:)
Had pains all morning from eating fried fish last night.:( But they passed.

hi Teresa and Sandy, i hope you are having a great day, my work is done for the day, time for coffee and a win.

Sounds very memorable Sandy! What happened?
We just hung out today and I finished the laundry. Tomorrow though will do sheets probably. Louie, (,my grandson) texted me. I was supposed to go up and visit, but he has to go in work and train to make pizza's. He will be glad to not be washing dishes all the time anymore. He loves to cook like me.:hug:My sweetie. I just adore him. He said he'll let me know when he has another day off. He lives with his Mom and her boyfriend and his girlfriend Lindsay moved in to when her Dad moved away. She is 22 and Louie is 19. They all share the bills. It's a huge apartment bldg. Huge apt. too. Like a house.Well, email me when you get a chance and let me know what
s happening:Karl: in exciting UTAH!!!! Miss ya!
Teresa

ok.. you can win this time. I can't stay up too late tonight because I have to go see my GI doc at 8:00 tomorrow, but I have to leave my house at 6:45. :( Did I mention that I am not a morning person.

I am not either, but since you have to get up sooo early, you can win.
Hope all goes well Jamie. Let us know!

ha ha! I will. I hope that I am getting closer to remission. I feel like I am getting better, but I guess the blood work will tell all!

Time for a win - had Humira jab today made me go as flat as a pancake for the rest of the day.

I hope I pick up tomorrow, I like being chipper

Hi Robert, yes it was a lot of fun to see them all again. They were here until 6:30 so it was a long afternoon tea - we can all talk - thats for sure.

Good morning all! Put a birdfeeder out front of my livingroom window to attract all the pretty cardinals, titmice, bluejays etc....Put out blackoil sunflower seeds.
Mostly sparrows and an occasional colored bird came. they are such piggies, the whole lot!!!!:sign0085:

You will love seeing the birds, Teresa. We keep 2-3 feeders out back, right off the deck. Love pouring my coffee in the morning and seeing them out there. And love seeing all the babies in the spring and early summer.

Oh yes, I love birds too. I have been feeding hummingbirds all summer, but only two left. They are leaving as the weather is getting cooler. But I love watching them as well. It started with a giant sunflower. The birds were coming to eat all the seeds out. So, that is where I put the feeder....:thumright:

Home from my day of work. Long day (did 5 hours instead of my usual 4). Man I am tired now. I should go out with the dog, but the weather is not at all inviting and he is sleeping so why should I wake him up?

Dont you have birds that stay even if the weather cools down? We have tons of birds that people feed durring the winter. Lots of different kind of finches and tits mostly.

yes,we do too.We are also keen bird feeders.Blackbirds, bluetits, starlings, robins magpies, crows pigeons and seagulls are regular visitors, although we try not to encourage the bigger birds. But in the spring my hubby argues that they've all got bairns to feed.

Yes, Sanni we have cardinals (RED) ,bluejays, titmice, junco's, goldfinches, and tohees and several others that hangout through Winter too. They are making quite a mess out there already though. But, next year I bet sunflowers will grow there again. I love them!!!:ysmile:

Made a huge pot of my sauce and 21 meatballs and roast cut up too.
Hubby will be happy. He's italian. Smells so good simmering downstairs.

Anyone want to come over and join us for dinner???

I wonder where Sandy is today? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Oh maybe she fell asleep. SANDY~ WE MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!:ylol2::heart:

Partially asleep, and partially in the bathroom with d. I can say that here, can't I? one of my many bro-in-laws got mad at Doug for bringing that up on our family camping trip this summer. He doesn't realize how consuming it can be for an IBDer.

That type just bugs me. I feel like saying...don't be such a pansy, you could never deal with what we IBDers deal with.

I love that answer! He should hear our talk when we go to dinner with our crohnie group from around here. It can get mighty interesting. I'm going to have to put your answer in or repertoire.

I wouldn't have kept bringing it up but I had other people asking me about it. I will educate people when the opportunity arises.

Doug, hello there! Been awhile. How are you? Good I hope!
Please tell Sandy I send my hugs her way! Thanx, Teresa:rosette1:

WIN!! WIN!! WIN!!!

Saw the GI doc today and I am almost (so close I can almost taste it) in remission!! Yea!! :luigi::luigi:

What's holding me back is this issue with my baldder and this random infection. He took me off one antibotic (because my body built up an immunity to it) and he put me back on cipro. I will see him again in December and hopefully by then I will have reached remission. What really suprised me is that he showed me my blood results from June and all of the normal counts were off the charts! And now, they are almost back to normal.

So how did I celebrate my win today??? By jabbing myself in the leg with Humira and sleeping the rest of the day :ylol:

Jamie
Make sure youtake some good probiotics with cipro or you'll find yourself with an itch in an unpleasant area!!

I know probiotics are mostly found in yogurt, but is a pill form more effective?

Yes, absolutely!!! There are many being sold in the vitamin section of your grocery store. I take the probiotic-multi-enzyme formula with every meal. Spring Valley makes it. Walmart carries it, do you have any near you?

Trev - what you doing with a forklift? I got heaps of books on trademe at the moment. I'm selling my greeting cards to which is good.

I go to GI on Thursday, should be good.

Hi Doug, how was your Humira jab?

Yeah. I've got walmart just down the street. I'll give it a try. I need to run errands tomorrow anyway so I'll stop in a take a look. Thanks for the advice! That's why I love the forum!

patiently waiting on my scope thursday. Hope they do not find to much damage. the idea of a resection scares me. :stinks: :poop:

Earnellzwifey, welcome to the looney bin. I can't follow the conversation on here the last little bit, but I think it has something to to with Trev using his new fork to help Jamie get some pro-biotics at Wal-mart, and Robert likes his style for buying something on a whim. My husband, Doug, hated that style when I could drive. He tells me I'm much cheaper now. (No comments from the shooting gallery.) Doug, in his dazed sleepy state, just told me he loves me ten and two fifths. Not kidding, and I don't know where that came from. At any rate, the looney bin is good for you when you are going thru hard times. Good luck with your situation. Stay around, you'll win a lot more if you do.

Quick win for me.Been for bloods this morning.nurse said she has never had to take so many samples from one person at once.Going docs on fri for results and those of my liver scan.Trying to be possitive.

I'm staying positive for you too, Carol! Hugs! And by the way, it's national hug day, so everyone needs to give Robert LOTS of hugs, all day long.

Jamie, I forgot to tell you, you have to keep these in the frig. So, don't forget that. Take 3 at each meal.Glad to help you.

Yes good wishes for Friday Carol.

That would be National as in US not UK - so I'm in the clear. Mind you I would treat it the same as I do for National No Smoking Day - with utter contempt

Good morning loonies! Glad to see we are in our usual form! I slept till 9:20 today! What a nice surprise. Raining like mad here today. Just sit back and enjoy the sound!

I awoke at 5am and it was still dark.I hate dark mornings. No wonder I want my pjs on at 5pm.Winning until some spoilsport takes it off me.
