I'm not usually one to ask for prayers, I will usually just read through and pray for you all. But tonight I need to ask for some for my 4 year old nephew and his mum and my mum.
We spent the day at the beach today, my mum and my sister and her two boys went on the train, and me and my dad joined them by car later on (as I'm still recovering from a recent hospital stay) . We had a lovely day, and when I got tired my dad brought me home. Mum traveled back with my sisters to keep her company and help with the children.
Everything was fine until it got to getting of the train. My sisters eldest boy (the 4 year old) got infront of them wouldn't go back, as he stepped off the train, he slipped and fell between the train and the platform edge (we have big gaps between the two, even adults have to stretch) . Thankfully, the train was stopped and quick action meant it was held until he was off the track, and very luckily he didn't touch the live part of the track. So, by nothing short of a miracle he's ok and only has a couple of cuts.
As you can imagine, it was a very emotionally traumatic experience for them all, and I ask that you pray for me and my family, that Rhys (the little boy) and my mum and sister are given peace and comfort. I know my mum and sister are feeling very guilty, but there was nothing they could have done, my sister had a baby with her and mum was trying to call / reach him back but he can be very stubborn minded. I ask that they be brought the knowledge that what happened was nothing more than an accident, and that they are not in any way to blame.
