Another day of this winter thaw, didn't get much done yesterday. I have to get that machine up on the deck so that I don't hunch so much. I cannot stay bent over for any length of time without getting sick when my innards get scrunched. The weather is no good for the trails, but it does take a load off of the roof. Probably not going to do much today.
 
At least you know your limitations Buff and tomorrow's another day...….It's been really horrible here this morning.Heavy rain,sleet and strong
gusty winds,,2c but lower with the wind chill.I've just read that sand from the Sahara and 75mph wind is tormenting the Canary Isles and 270 flights are cancelled.Families that have been away for half term are stranded.Don't suppose the kids are to bothered though
 
Showers, some heavish ( another neologism. Appreciably cooler, but still ultra humid. The sand flies and their bigger mossie cousins are a biting. Tiger Balm is useful in stopping the itching. A death in the family has kept me off the airways. Such things happen to us all., the final RV and the end of aches and pains! It's a far, ar place that I go to............ Dickens.

So sorry for your loss Merv.We're at an age where losing family and friends is scarily common place.
 
Yes Carol , first thing I do every morning is to check if I am still alive. So far so good. They predicted 15-30 mm of rain for the coast today but we received 100 mm. Rain expected for the next week or more. The mosquito problem gets worse every day. Been having blood tests this week. Off to the doc on Thursday. Ron.
 
Wet, very cold and will continue like this for a while yet. Expecting snow soon too. Daffs are coming out everywhere now. The May blossom is in full swing and my tulips are coming up too. Closed the curtains at 5.45 pm today, getting lighter now.

I'm going to be like you Ron, wondering if i'm going to wake up tomorrow. I still have some pain with the cancer, but really i think i have to do alternatives now.

Merv, I'm sorry for your loss.
 
It's been a really nice day despite a hard frost early on.Wall to wall sunshine but a cold breeze.Washing dried on the line and I even had a couple of windows open for an hour or two.
 
No real sunshine like that here, Carol. Showers and less cold, but now the rubbish weather comes in i think. I have no intentions of going anywhere for a few days.

Only us Brits seem to have weather today lol.
 
The sunshine coast finished with 130mm of rain yesterday. Same today except that the large band of rain missed us to the north and hit Rainbow beach and Fraser island. Expecting showers for the next week. Some serious rain and floods out west near St George but no one out there is complaining. Ron.
 
It's seems like summer missed us this year. Only 3 days in February above 30C. 19C today. Double the average rainfall for the year to date. My tomatoes have still not ripened.
 
Awoke to a couple of cm's of snow this morning. Laid in bed watching the flurries. Now the sun is out and we're expecting a load of rain. We too have many flooded areas, even where water broke through where they'd put flood barriers. Awful for all the businesses and wildlife.

All we need now is for a ton of people to arrive from abroad to really get this coronavirus thing on the go. I'm not sure if there are cover-ups or whether it's just going to fritter out becoming weaker as it goes. Next month i start to meet up with friends and we book day trips. Would be just my luck if they cancelled them. I've had enough of the stir crazy of December, January and February. Bring on the lighter sunny days.
 
4c with a cold breeze but lots of blue sky.This is the 4th year in succession when where this area of the UK has had minimum snowfall which has cleared in hours.Only scraped frost off the windshield once or twice.
 
I stepped away to get some rest. Sorry to hear about your loss Merv. I am watching this global outbreak carefully. Being older and already in bad health it appears we better take some precautions should it spread, or rather when it does by the looks of it. I may have to hold off on plans to travel to see family as I do each every summer.

Yes Buff I fear for the aged and chronically ill. It is contagious beyond belief. A few years ago I spent some time in hospital with para influenza . It is a kids influenza that is so mild it barely produces any anti-bodies so they can't produce a flu shot for it. It very nearly killed me. Just over 20mm of rain overnight and more forecast for next week. Humidity is never below 85% of late. I have so much mould in my flat I am starting to get sick from using too much exit mould. Ron
 
Mold is definitely a serious health concern. One way to control it is by using dehumidifiers when conditions are damp. I am sensitive to mold and I use both the dehumidifier and airconditioning to ward it off during the summer months. If I don't I constantly sneeze, itching nose and difficult breathing, with a post nasal drip that makes me constantly wiping my raw nose. It also elevates me Chrons. I don't know if its feasible, but moving out of that problematic apartment would be the best choice, especially if the building leaks, as no dehumidifier will solve that problem.

Yesterday when i went into the garden i felt like a new person. I know this feeling to realise Spring has sprung. One of my elderly cats slept oudoors for the first time since September, so i knew i would feel the same instinct. Today i took myself off to the garden center to get a few bits. It's definitely Spring-like out there now. I'm hoping to enjoy Spring this year as last year i was far more ill than i am now. Lovely and sunny out with only a good breeze, not that chill wind for storm Jorge.

Lovely day here at 9c with sunshine and wispy clouds.We had a slow walk (is there anything else) down to the riverside and back.I saw in todays paper some interesting but scarey photos of lakeside homes in N.Y. State.After high winds,snow and freezing temps during the night,inhabitants awoke to darkness as their windows and outside of their homes were covered in 3ft of ice and snow.One chap managed to get out of the back and had to chisel 3ft of the stuff off the front door.
 
Thats rough Ron, maybe it would be better to spend the rent money on a good RV and live in a mobile unit. RV living can be on the cheap, and one change locations to suit one's needs. Find a nice area near the waters you go fishing on. Fresh seafood. The neighbor had luck ice fishing yesterday when I saw the large pike they caught.

Lovely and sunny with a few clouds. One gave us a dusting whilst the sun still shone. Quite amusing really.

You could have done with that pike for tea, Buff. I agree an RV would be better for Ron.
 
Hot and Humid, somewhere in the order of 30*. No wind or rain forecast for the next fews days. ( Correction. There is rain forecast for the week)

Ron,' have you thought about investing in a dehumidifier? They do make a considerable difference in taking litres of moisture out of the home. Depending on the size of your place, you might be able to get away with a 20 litre a day model.. It will certainly get rid of mould.

I have COPD and I find my breathing greatly improved when running this addition to A/C They are not that expensive and don't chew up electricity. Also handy as a clothes dryer. Over use of bleached based exit mould is not a good idea , mate.

Have a look at Ausclimate models which get very good reviews on the Internet.

Sunny with showers. The birds are still singing so beautifully now and i have a load of daffs and 3 violas have sprung up already in one of my old tatty hanging baskets. Everything is coming to life again. It's so nice to see. Just hope that this Corona virus thing can be avoided. I am hoping (all being well) to go out with friends on Thursday. Haven't been anywhere since early December.
 
Funny place for weather Australia. The cyclone that formed in the gulf a week or so ago crossed the Northern territory then into the Kimberly in WA where it dumped a heap of rain as a low. It has now reversed course ,crossed back over central NT into south west Qld then is expected to dip down thru western NSW bring some heavy rain to drought stricken areas. I hope it is not natures way of making sure that there will be plenty to burn next summer. Ron.
 
Sunny out here. think i might venture out to hoard essentials, lol. Not too chilly either. Will need to start to tidy the garden a bit soon. I will do five minute shifts of work. It's not much at a time but it does build up, never lets me stop once it's started though.

Thanks one drunk cyclone Ron. Sounds like it is staggering all over the place down there.
 
We received some needed snow to freshen things up as the snow pack was getting hard and icy. Went for ski yesterday, but didn't go very far in the mild conditions as I tend to get hot and winded. Colder is preferred when I ski. -5C mainly cloudy.
 
Little changes. Hot , humid with more the same on the way. A mass panic has arisen in Queensland concerning the stock piling of toilet rolls. This is not good news for us afflicted by CD,! Panic reigns with the onset of CONVID -19.

However I wonder how theses hoarding snowflakes would have fared with a Brit Army Compo 24 hr ration pack of the 1960's Each pack contained a mere 6 sheets of 'government ' issue paper; akin to the grease proof variety. A touch of the 'runs' in Borneo would have one resorting to horticultural endeavours.. Alternatively, the time honoured practice of Jungle warfare 'Shoot and Scoot was oft reversed to 'Scoot and Shoot'!! Just thought that 'I'd share with you.

Merc in melbourne they are stockpiling toilet paper, tissues, baby wipes, rice, pasta, long live milk, water, tinned tomatoes, soda water, paper towels and paper napkins

Rain today 50ml with some minor flooding
 
Interesting the mention of toilet paper shortages. I was in the store yesterday and was in an urgent need of their public toilet and I felt a bit lost at first because that store piles up the toilet paper and paper towel displays near their washrooms. However they had very little left in stock, people here are getting skiddish about this covid19.

WE are looking at storms ,possibly severe, for the next week with some heavy rain. Out west at Thargomindah they received two years worth of rain in one day. some people are taking corona virus very seriously but it appears health services is not yet one of them. I went to the medical centre for my INR check yesterday. I commented to the receptionist and the INR nurse that I was surprised to see that they were not wearing face masks. Why should we was the response, I said because sick people come here and one may have corona. The nurse said we are ok if we wash our hands. News headlines today.14 people in emergency at the mater hospital Brisbane have been put into 14 days of isolation due to exposure to a man with corona virus. They should thank their lucky stars it is not Ebola. Our government says we are well equipped to deal with the corona outbreak,,,,obviously not. Ron.
 
Ron, I don't think that it fair to say that 'some people, especially health professionals' are not taking the CONVID-19 outbreak seriously.As far as the efficacy of wearing surgical masks is concerned, they are more effective in containing infections in the affected person rather than blocking the transmission, as in your case from the INR nurse. On the basis , perhaps if you were able to actually access a mask ( no supplies available around here) it should have been you who ought to be wearing one.

In comparison with China Italy, Iran South Korea and several other countries, Australia is managing this present burgeoning epidemic reasonably well.

If you do a little bit of research you will understand that it is quite likely that this virus may well have other means of transmission other than droplet respiratory secretions, notably faecal contamination. So hand washing is key as is using wipes on alien toilet door handles!

I am five or six years older than you and have a multiplicity of medical conditions which I don't discuss, but constitute a highly compromised autoimmune system. Looking on the bright side, we have almost a collective century and a half on the clock and the luxury or two pulses. At the present we are potentially siting ducks for CONVID-19 ,so what!!

You could have delayed your INR for a few days, better still , as a I assume that you are taking Warfarin, why not discuss with your GP changing to Dabigatran (Pradaxa) as an alternative anticoagulant ? I've taken this for years with no side effects. It is not necessary to have INR tests with this. medication.

Rather than hang around a w Dr''s waiting room , why don't you ask your medico to fax a'script directly to your local pharmacy. My chap happy to do this rather than listen to my B/S.
 
Another nice day...I read in my daily paper that a bloke in a NSW store was tasered due to a fight with another customer over the last pack of toilet paper.I'm assuming the tasered man was a crohnie ;) The UK now has 167 with the disease and two dead.It has accelerated in the last couple of days and funnily enough OUR government has everything under control too.Time will tell....
 
We have nothing in place in our country, and presently people are allowed to come and go at will to anywhere in the world. Only known cases entering the country are placed in quarranteen and some are asked to vollunarilly quarrannteen themselves in their own residence. By the numbers, it would appear that the virus is now established with in the population as they find cases where it origin is not known. Our government is not yet serious in dealing with this matter, nor are they serious about anything really.

Same with our country, Buff. We have at least one case in our county. I still went out yesterday. Was cold and windy, but not many tourists around yet. I'm still going out. Can't afford the luxury of staying in anymore. Just want to carry on living. Today i went into the garden and whoopee, i felt radiant heat on my body from that thing called the sun. I'm chuffed to bits at that, lol.
 
Rather windy out today, however, amazingly, it's not a bitter chill wind. It's not cold. The birds are all a flutter with their Spring songs and starting their nest building. Yesterday i put plenty of hedgehog food out at the feed stations and one had been at the front garden one. I'm delighted.
 
Yesterday was a winter day, and I enjoyed a good long ski, knowing that the good ski days are numbered. Today its going to be a melt down with temps expected to go into the mid digits. Just going to stay, and do things out and around the house, too warm for snowmobile engines.
 
11c with a breeze so no complaints. Crowds of people at the coast and not a parking space for 3mls.....and so it begins !!! Luckily we're close enough not to need to drive but we tend to stay away during the Spring/summer madness.
 
Overcast with 15 gusting to 20 kts. Much cooler., but possibly some rain later.. No further outbreaks of bog roll related violence in my neck of the woods. The stupidity of some people is truly amazing. God knows how they would have dealt with rationing during and after WW2., which I remember well.

Very warm yesterday, and declined the invite to go snowmobiling as its too warm for the engine. One in the group blew their engine as a result. I stayed home and did small chores around the house. Daylight saving time kicked in, I've never been able to adjust to it, but rather cope with it. The mornings need that extra hour of daylight especially with our cold climate.
 
More radiant warmth in the garden today. If all is well i'd like to get to a garden centre for some bits to brighten the garden. Not that i'm doing much in it yet (or ever, lol). No sign of a hedgie this evening but it should be soon. No sign of poo either, but that also will come along soon. Looking forwards to seeing my first one this year.

Carol, i certainly don't miss all those tourists in Bude anymore.

That'll be lovely Di. I love to sit quietly and watch the birds.We go over to the park with a carrier bag of seeds and peanuts and monkey nuts (for the squirrels).There's been quite a few twitchers knocking about lately.Kingfishers have been around the pond area lately and there was great excitement over the sighting of a water Raile (?)……..cold 6c and damp here today.Going for my check up at GI clinic later.I thought it would have been canceled due to the Pandemic but no word so far.
 
It's definitely colder today here. No loo roll anywhere. I have some, but we never know just how much we are going to need. Might have to petition the health minister to put it on prescription for us Crohnies. Not even sure if diarrhoea is a problem with this coronavirus. Seems strange. Am expecting all the day trips i've booked up will be cancelled and i only get to go to hospital for the foreseeable future. I've already avoided people for 8 months already. I've just gone stir crazy and was so looking forwards to getting out in brighter weather, and this happens. Rotten luck i suppose.
 
Just staying the course, I've been dealing with some wet firewood where the tarps collapsed from the weight of the snow. I've piled it up so it can dry out, while scavenging the dry wood. This furnace must use dry wood, anything remotely damp does not burn well and plugs up things up quickly.
-15C and the birds are very noisy, a sure sign of spring even when its cold.
 
Miserable sort of day.Not too cold but grey.Don't know about your day trips Di.,unless you're doing the London Marathon.
That's definitely cancelled.I understand your disappointment if the others are cancelled but given your serious heath probs.far better not to take risks
 
yes, Carol, but i've tried to be sensible and self isolate since last August. I've been counting down the days to getting out and about, but the cancer hasn't gone yet. I prob need more chemo and yes, Boris is now bringing in the sweeping measure that will probably obliged me to stay in more often than i had hoped. Sometimes i just feel that i'm six foot down and awaiting the covering up. I want to live, lol.

Having said that i can assure you that it is very wet and colder out there. I wouldn't go anywhere on a day like this. Shall get in the garden and plant some seeds up. I like new life and new growth.
 
The weather is warming up forward the end of the week. I finally have some ripe
tomatoes. My younger daughter is 21 tomarrow. We are currently having 21th party planned for Satursday. Still deciding whether to go ahead.

Australia has banned gathering of over 500people. We planned to have 60 people at our house. We have 35 coming but confirmed numbers are dropping. Her university cancelled classes for the rest of the week today and plan to again next on line. We don't computer that runs the required software.
 
The seriousness of the virus is beginning to set in, schools will be closed for the next 3 weeks at least with many other public place restrictions and closures. Not much one can do but take precautions and stay home. I awoke from a wonderful dream this morning when I was back at the family cabin I so loved and it was filled with family. There was a young cat cuddling with me on the bed and the nephew was calling out that the pancake and bacon breakfast was almost ready. It all seemed so real, with a big day of ice fishing ahead. I can only wish it was so.

10c and not a bad day here,APART FROM THE NEWS THAT IS. We over 70s are to be in self isolation for 4mnths to begin in 20days.
What ???? T he logistics will be impossible. I HAD to go to the supermarket today and was warned at the door that queing was 40mins plus at checkout.Lots of empty shelves for the silliest things.....
 
Have to nip to hospital today and tomorrow. I have no hand sanitiser but i have loads of bicarb of soda and organic apple cider vinegar. Will have to stuff some of that in with ordinary wet wipes i think. Maybe i shall stuff some up my nostrils. Hopefully the world will be as quiet as a dead planet.

I'm off to get to the supermarket at 6am seeing as i can't sleep. they might have disinfected it and have full shelves. I won't hold my breath (or maybe i will). Hope to get a months supply in. Bit disappointing. They have cancelled all our day trips for a month and will reassess. Desperately want to go out and join in something. Never mind.

I think i might actually be heading out into rain. Mind, so what if the weathers bad. I'm sure i was going to stay in anyway.

I envy you Buff, without going into details , quite often I have very disturbing dreams. The bog roll banditry continues here., despite constant reminders to the culprits that this is not a virus that is primarily associated with GIT problems.

To address the tissue issue I have dug two 'foot prints' into the front lawn with a deep hole in between the starting blocks. The garden hose has been place alongside. Viola! A paperless 'Asian squat', An old sheet wrapped round a couple of poles provide adequate privacy.. It's not really an al weather model!

We haven't reached the 'voluntary' self isolation situation as yet , but most of the people that we know which are in a similar age group to Pam and I are doing that anyway. . My GP is a very reasonable fells who is happy to fax prescriptions through to the Island pharmacy. He still gets his usual Medicare consultation fee and avoids the chance of contracting Convid -19 from me and vice versa . You might., depending on you location and local rules and regs try this approach. At least you won't be hanging around a dr's waiting room : a breeding ground for things nasty.

Cool today, pleasant condition for pottinger around the garden . The heat is scheduled to return on the weekend..

Hope all goes well at your apt.Di….Les has an apt.tomorrow.I would usually go with him but I'm giving it a miss.It's usually crowded on a Thursday and very warm.

Hahaha Your Asian Squat is not a vision I want to think about,but needs must eh ? A bloke was mugged the other day and they left his phone,watch,wallet but took the toilet rolls which had just bought..Also our bike repair shop has a poster on the window offering a free loo roll with every bike service. Cold and grey today.
 
I could always resort to using birch bark if the bum wipe rolls run out making my outhouse authentic to the days of the past, before the days when the store catalogues served their second life in the loo.
I went grocery shopping yesterday and was lucky to get the items I needed. The entire meat section was bare, with many empty shelves. I didn't see any panic shopping as most people had only half filled carts. I decided to use the self checkout given how many people crowd the lineups and that the checker has to handle items from hundreds of customers further adding to the risk. When using the self checkout I used my shopping list as a barrier between my finger and the touch screen. Then applying hand sanitizer in the vehicle. I don't want to take any chances given age and preexisting health conditions, its bad enough to have to enter the store.

Lovely day,quite mild and sunny....I'm more concerned about loo roll than I am about bread..bread I can do without.Don't know what Di's done ..(above),just hope she hasn't passed out over the keyboard.
 
10 cms of fresh snow to brighten things up. I was lucky when I did my shopping, the neighbor went yesterday and came home empty handed on many items. There's always fresh seafood in the seafood section of our lakes out ice fishing.
 
The past couple days have been very gray! No snow, only rain, as it has been warming up nicely. Of course, that means lots of humidity as the snow melts which means lots of cloud cover and fog! Apparently tomorrow it is supposed to go up to 17C, (the warmest this year yet!) And then go down to -12C at night!
 
Spring Equinox today,, but with the restrictions and self isolation due to the virus we'll be lucky if things are sorted by late summer
#just in time for the Xmas ads on the tv....Had a walk down to the quay and stocked up on fresh caught fish...….DIANNE are you ok ?
 
Quite cold and blustery today.Had a walk to the park as we felt we should while we can.Cafe and toilets closed until further notice as are the library + toilets,cafes and pubs + their toilets, in town and the rest of the country. Happy Days.
 
Cool but fine and sunny and the same for the next few days,I'm a bit worried about Diannes no-show,hope all's well with her.
I considered shopping on-line but instead of a next day delivery some folk are having to wait a LOT longer,especially newbies.I'm planning to get up really early tomorrow to get the guts sorted, then attempt a supermarket shop.First hour of opening is supposed to be for the aged and decrepit.

Smart move Buff. Living on an island , wa have done this for some years . Better selection and avoids being ripped off by the local stores. At the present time it pays to be cautious!
 
9c and another nice day.Huge queue outside the docs and the pharmacy for scripts Only letting 2 in at a time.But us poms are good queuers and we chatted and had a laugh with strangers.....except for those waiting for their daily Methadone who thought they should have priority...needless to say they were put straight on that
 
The grocery stores are very busy, I placed my online order and will have to wait a full week to receive my order. I have enough to get me by, as I have been in self isolation. Given my level of health I am not taking any chances. My doctor called last week and asked me not to come to the clinic for my scheduled appointment. The doctor will conduct my appointment over the phone.
 
Mild with a sunny start but clouding over now....Les has been told to isolate for 3months due to his cancer probs. I expect Dianne has too and I know she won't be happy .We will seal ourselves in the car and drive to the coast with a thermos of coffee and there'll be no whinging about day trippers making the place untidy.

My GI bod ;phoned me at 0745 the other morning. I wasn't impressed particularly because I haven't seen him for about 9 months and have minimal time for him. The feeling is probably mutual, but it me who gives a sh..! With the present covid -19 situation ,gastrologists are not front line troops and are after any buck they can make. Mind you I always thought it was a dead end job..

Temp got up to 21c on the car thermometer.Lovely calm and sunny day.Les is in lockdown for 12wks due to his cancer,but he drove me to town for our scripts.It's a good job I'm a patient soul.as they're letting in only two at a time.Most shops are closed and when the town clock struck twelve it sounded like a death knell...…..

Merv I never answer my phone until I rise after 8:30Am, any doctor calling at that hour isn't worth his salt. Speaking of which I poured close to 20 kilos of road salt onto the trouble area on the roof where the leak is coming in. I don't like using a corrosive salt, but I have no choice. Ice levels are getting thicker as we near spring. Hopefully I can get a roofer to replace the lousy job the other one did 4 years ago. I want to sue his ass but good.
 
Good humour Merv, I like a good laugh. Same Carol, really funny. I think i can understand your hubby, Carol. 12 after around 8 months of self isolation i'm seriously peed off.

Naturally as we can't go anywhere the weather has been absolutely beautiful. Good radiant heat and lots of twig collecting birds, well, the jackdaws anyway. Noisy buggas too.
 
A really nice warm day and no wind.Les went for a cycle early on and there was dense fog off the coast.We had a walk 'round the park and it was lovely and quiet and folk were keeping a wide berth from each other.There were no kiddies in the playground and it was a treat to just stand quietly and listen to the birds.
 
Lovely and sunny. Frosty this morning though. I've planted a few seeds and have tulips up quite high but it's going to get colder now so i don't know how they will fair. Not seen a hedgie for a couple of nights. Tis colder again. They'll be back soon.
 
Not having much fun. My internet and home phone died three weeks ago. I haven't been able to get onto my provider Telstra. Most of their call centres were offshore and were one of the first thing shut down. I don't know how many hours I have waited on the phone for no answer. The ombudsman helped and they sent a tech and he said my lines were fine but my modem was stuffed. The telsra shop didn't have a new one but they said try the computer shop. they had one but it needs passwords and usernames I haven't used since Adam was a boy. I cleaned the old modem out and unplugged everything and cleaned and sprayed it with board cleaner. It is working so far. I rarely shift out of the house. Stay well everyone.
 
Wonderfully sunny today. Lovely radiant heat too, i feel blessed to be on the other side of the darkness once again. Only wish i could be out and about on day trips with friends. I'd hate to spend my last Summer hiding away as i have been. Oh, well, we're all in this together and i hope we all stay safe. Can't believe how bad they say this is but the papers say that SARS was worst and had a higher death rate but we didn't close the world for that. Not that we want to get this on top of auto-immunes. I for one would not get a ventilator due to health and age. Hope to get in the garden for a few short bursts of activity.

Sorry you're not having much luck with retirement so far, Ron. Hope things cheer up for you soon. Congrats on denying the internet service provider with more money.

We too have had problems with Telstra , the same as you , but largely the landline. For about 10 days we were using our mobile phone in lieu. f you do have a a hand phone , Telstra will divert your service from the landline to the mobile. It does not cost you anything. Once the landline is restored , , simply dial #121# on the mobile to revert to the landline.

The NBN network is being laid out on the Bay Islands at the present .Much of the problem that is and has arisen, which Telstra Techs admit is due to ancient copper wiring. They would have us believe that the NBN , when up and running ,will cure that problem with the curb to the house connection. I live in hope!

If you modem is not compatible with the nbn set up , you could try and lean on Telstra to provide a replacement Some time ago , I did and squeezed a new one from them. Much comes down to how you complain! To every one that is totally bored with this conversation, please forgive me. I'm off to cut my wrists to spare your anymore senseless crap.

Yes Merv If I have low blood pressure I just have to mention Telstra and it's cured. They sent me a text tonight telling me the package containing my order has been dispatched. Trouble is I haven't ordered anything. Ive been living on my own for fifteen years so cabin fever is my normal state . I voted early so no one will disturb my serenity tomorrow. If I didn't have to go to doctors I probably wouldn't talk to anyone. cheers Ron.
 
Beware of Greek nerds bearing gifts! I think you deserve a nice free surprise ! Going to the quacks is an avoidable option . At our age, with our list of complaints , if a face- to face encounter can be averted, then please , Mate, think about using the 'dog & bone" Remember , the medicos would prefer to side line you,as you might them. Its been dead quiet around here, if it were not for the news it would be like living was 100 years ago. I went for a ski on the wheel chair section of the trail yesterday; the level section that leads to the lake and did the length of the lake. The snow is receding and it will be only a matter of time before the trails become useless.
Internet traffic has increased, which has slowed my connection down to a crawl not much better than it was in the dial up era. So far many people here are not taking the virus seriously. I am not looking forward to stocking up, but I will stock up for the long term and hole up until this thing passes.
