What song is bouncing around your head?

Too late Beach, its Tuesday here.

Oh, and they aren't crackers, they are crumpets! :ylol:

Now, since I have been having a bit of a Netflix marathon (River)...

I Love to Love - Tina Charles. I swear I haven't heard this song since hitting the disco floor in the 70's. Ahahahahaha.

That's what I need! to bing watch a Netflix series and a box of crumpets. I'm currently a hurricane Irma refuge. I'll check out River!

Did hear good news, our Asian American friend was able to rescue his expensive karaoke machine from flood waters by lugging it upstairs. Even better news, he is bitterly complaining that he now how no idea on how to plug the wires back in, get it working.

I thought this song representative of how the neighbors house sounds with karaokeing and drinking. I don't have a clue what the singer is saying.

The Apple cult is alive and well in my family! Just happened to receive a call from dad. Mom had him at the shopping mall, she was looking at cloths, and as to be expected dad was at the Apple shop looking to buy something Apple. It's how it normally works. I'm wondering what he will be brining home this time.

Cute video.

The other day I received an education is the difference between country and western music. I didn't know there was a difference! My father's friend is a big fan of Marty Robbins, a western singer.

I'm surprised but I remember the first time I'd heard the B-52s. A friends mom owned a higher end clothing store. At the store a few gay guys worked there. I'm not gay, but that night the guys wanted to dance, invited me to join in, we dressed up, and headed to a dance floor where the new B-52 album was being played that night. I just remember it being great fun.

Thanks, I can remember dancing to the Commundards over a Halloween dressed up with friends in costumes: vampires, ghosts, poet, biker, etc.

I love this song. It's on the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack. Problem is, every time I hear it, it gets stuck in my head.

"Hail (hail), what's the matter with your head, yeah"

love that song and the movie wasn’t bad either , have to match it again

:)

Also really loving Australiana by Austen Taysgus. A very clever play on words.

It is not a song, but it is bouncing around in my head for sure:

If you are not Australian, a lot of references will probably go straight over you head.

Even though not a proper song, Australiana was an Aria #1 Single in 1983 for eight weeks.

Top Of The Pops 1990 - I love it.

Here is another one from the same era that is stuck in my head:

I swear one of the dancers is doing the Birdie song dance!!

The Birdie song is an abomination to mankind. But very popular at British weddings for some very strange reason (suppose you have to be super drunk to do it, without feeling like a twit)

Again seems like yesterday. I am starting to feel quite ancient now

I thought that was pretty funny. Yes the odd one flew over the cuckoos nest, but all in all, very good. :)

In Canada we call it the chicken dance. You have to be drunk to have a valid excuse. ;)
