What song is bouncing around your head?

The video doesn't work here in Florida Chris! Nice choice though. Can't go wrong with that Beatles song.

Heard this song the other day. It is an older song that I enjoyed listening to on my down in the dump days. My stomach condition has had an enormous negative impact onto my life. I've missed out on many activities because of my IBD condition. It is ridiculous! While I greatly wish I didn't have my IBD, and had a better life, as we all, we don't get to choose the cards we have been dealt in life. For that I've appreciated this song.

Thanks Tony! I saw that! It's great to see them back singing again. I have two autos with the older one only having a radio and CD player. Sadly on my recent move most of my CDs were tossed. ALl I have left are 5 CDs with one of the being Banarama's great hits. It gets lots of play when in that car.

great interview with Robert Plant Chris and thats one of my favourite Green Day songs ,
I love and hate that halloween theme music ,I don’t won’t watch scary movies any more , I just can’t take the stress.

That is one thing, I don't enjoy slasher films at all. I avoid them. So the Halloween theme song might not have been the best choice.

I'm not afraid of ghost or spooky bump in the night films though for what ever reason.

I used to enjoy scary movies but they are too much in your face now , they are too gory in my opinion , movies like the shining and poltergeist or even the omen never needed to show nasty scenes and they were really frightening .
Maybe Im just showing my age but thats my opinion

I enjoy your music pick Chris! It's also an easy song to play on the guitar, at least when playing at half speed.

This band and song might have only been known in the Chicago area. I don't know. When I was younger and hanging around the University campus, it was a popular tune to hear around this time of year.

Fantastic Halloween music choices! Glad to read you are not a member of any occults. I have to admit, I'm not entirely sure if I believe you. I've been around some body builders before. When they get to talking about their workouts and products they take to build muscles, the talk has a cult ring to it.

And if you own a gym for the love of Christ don't place the weight lifting scale near the bathroom door! Few things scarier that have happened to me than to open the bathroom door to only see a large 250lbs naked dude running toward me, only to have him step on the weight scale. :runaway: Thankfully!

Bit tired this morning, so being lazy I'll go with the holiday song I heard at the store early this AM. Their timing was off with this one I thought:

thats a hard image to forget Beach ,
Large Naked Body Builder had me laughing out loud (not lol)

Thanks Chris! Yesterday was a rather tiring day for me. Not my best of replies, but a true frightening story to tell all for Halloween.

Now we are onto the next holiday, at least here in America, Thanksgiving! A delightful holiday. I don't think though there are any Thanksgiving songs. At least none that I can think of off the top of my head.

It's funny you mention that. The INXS Suicide Blonde song made me chuckle a bit. As far as I can tell it's simply about a hair dye coloring. I was listening to INXS today in the car. When Suicide Blonde came on it reminded me of what my hair cutter/stylist had mentioned. She was busy she said! Lots of women getting divorced and that means they all now want their hair dyed blonde.

Ironically another song I've had bouncing around the last few days is Judy Garland singing over the Rainbow. I think that has to do with the movie Wizard of Oz typically being played around Thanksgiving in America.

I think I agree that Judy Garland's version is the best , what a voice , but I think Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole s version runs it a close second .

Tony H said, ["I think I agree that Judy Garland's version is the best , what a voice , but I think Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole s version runs it a close second ."]

I like them both just fine. :)

I liked that version when I first heard it but music’s ukulele-ization sort of grinds my nerves lol. I started learning electric bass guitar for the first time just a year ago. I am such a classics lover. Here’s a song that I heard of last year that makes me smile 😊 (I am a woman but I sometimes feel connected)

I play mostly 90s Red Hot Chili Peppers, Deep Purple, and classic rock on electric bass though, not the Bellamy Brothers.

I enjoy this music thread a lot!
