Sorry Jamie! How are things down your way weatherwise? Did you get alot of storms? We got two that came from the line that was in OKL.:ghug: but nowhere near as severe, although we did lose power and our cable was out for hours.
But, no damage here!
 
We had a bad storm yesterday, but no damage. Just really loud. I was at work, so I decided to stay until the storm passed. It was a good idea.

I win. I am on sick day today. "Woman problems". I hate it I feel so sick and nausiated in the morning it was inpossible to get out of bed. 1.5hours sleep later I did. I think the pain med is kicking in now though, but I will take an other one jusrt incase. This is why I regulate (with my doctors advise) my periods to come only every 3-4 months. I cant take the feeling they give. At worst It was taking me a month to rocover from one to be at the next one allready. Now I can handle them better. Crohns and periods dont mix well. You men are lucky not to have to deal wit this. ;)
 
Amen to that Sanni!! Last one arrived and I thought a trip to casualty was going to be needed, the pain was so bad and my joints get really bad so it's difficult to move. Wish I could flick a switch and stop them happening cos I don't need them anymore :).

Just when I thought I had a win you all come back and gazump me lol.....Oh well I shall keep trying. Have a great day.
 
Oh.. Ill be gone tomorrow since we have a annual "MOnth of service" at woel. We are going to some orphanage town (something where kids life in family like surroundings. not really sure) to was windows and rake the yard. Should be fun. After it we go to a cabin for a nice meal and evening. So you can try to win tomorrow Lizbet. ;)
 
Thanks for the heads up on that Sanni :) though no doubt somebody else will come on and steal the win from me! lol. But I'm winning now so I will enjoy it while it lasts.

Sanni, did you read the Spoon theory? You would really appreciate it and Kirsty too!Go on main Forum Discussion page, scroll down to Support, 2nd line look for Undiagnosed Club. Sanni, I used to suffer so bad with my monthlie's too. Lasted for 7 full days and got them every 21 days. I was happy to have menopause except for the hot flashes. Have you tried going on a birthcontrol pill to help regulate them and lessen them? Many people find this works really well. I couldn't take them way back then do to other problems.:ghug: I'm so sorry for you hun!
 
Where is Carol? Sandybee has been missing for days! She I know has sleep problems, but Carol is usually here like Ol Faithful. Hope she's not ill. Maybe Les is taking her for a round!:lol2:;):heart:
 
I did read the spoon theory. Loved it and shared it allready with some friends.

I do use birthcontroll to regulate my periods. I only have them every 3-4 monts because of this. But still.. hate hate hate them. This time was terrible. I need to get on pain meds a couple days befor they start but I forget to.

Have you had your thyroid checked Sanni? It can be a cause for really heavy times of month. You have to find a DR. that specializes in this or they will just do a standard blood test and that is a false negative alot of times.Look it up online and read the indicators for it. :ghug:
 
I'm here everybody,just trying to catch up with all 27 emails.I will have to employ a secretary at this rate.Wonder if George Clooney or Johny Depp are busy? Could also do with a chef/shopper,cleaner and dog walker.I think BRAD would suit very nicely,oh deep joy.........Please let me win for a while til I catch up.Thankyou xxx

I read somewhere that he doesn't use deodorant and one of his leading ladies said he stinks,so that put me right off him.Of course it might not be true,just sour grapes,but they Have to smell as good as they look.
 
Hmmm but what a six pack he's got.....wow I can feel a swoon coming on :) I love that film with him and Kate Hudson..How to lose a guy in ten days, I'm just an old romantic at heart (well maybe I'll drop the old bit). Johnny Depp has definitely got some attractive qualities too, I wouldn't through him out of my ......kitchen :)

PS I'm devastated to think that MMcC stinks, it's just so wrong!

That's my favorite movie of his and hers. They do well together, but then, I loved Kate's mom, Goldie Hawn too. Not in the way I love Matthew, mind you, but....lol!
Funny he would stink, since he does a Calvin Klein fragrance commercial that I just love to watch....

Matthew and stink just don't go right together, especially when you picture that glorious sick pack....oh dear here comes the swoon again lol.

He headed out to the gym to work on his six pack.....that's so different from the normal six pack he works on, lol!

Feeling better today, must be the sunshine and spring weather.
Plus the grass was cut nicely and someone is planting some heirloom tomatoes , squash and cucumbers. Really cheered me up to get the garden in order and look forward to the harvest...
