MMM, got home from a nice dinner at my parent's house with my son and girlfrined and kids. Had a ball playing Skippo with the kids. It's a card game.:ysmile::heart:

Yep - All ready - I think it will be a memorable way to start the year. All my favourite people in one place .......... hmm ....... I might go to a different party - will be safe there.

sorry Teresa,but I've already said (on another thread) that I'm not going to Roberts after he left me at the airport last week,and took "that woman" to Sandys party......His loss,I had a surprise lined up especially for him last week,but someone else got it instead.Please call in on your way home.Keys under the plant "pot" if I'm not in.:D

Hey Bee!!!! You must bee there! I am coming coz I think hubs will bee passed out in his chair. Honestly I think he is at the ER now getting his rib checked out. He hasn't called all day yet and he always does!:shifty:I hope it's not broken!:kiss:

no he did not.......but......I did it again on Saturday,and told him beforehand.First thing he said when he came in was "eeeee,ya hair looks lovely Pet".I think Robert might have had a word with him.:rof:

Almost time to go out! Going for a McD's before I go to a friends. Staying away from the vodka this time, considering I'm probably going to be walking ~3miles home afterwards!

I mean there's nothing to stop me getting a taxi, but I have no problem walking really.

Hi Everybody
Hope you are all feeling better and ready for a New Year,can't think what happened to 2012.
I winged my way back to Canada yesterday from UK and arrived in the pm--very tired now from the journey and back to loadsa snow in my driveway. Friends had kindly taken care of it in my absence and the snow had been pushed back to allow for a car to park.
There were a few nasty bumps in the air during the long flight but it smoothed out after a while. It's a good fasting exercise since the food is quite inedible.I drank lots of water though., and glad to be back .

Sounds like you should skip the Mac'D's, that'd get me in trouble quicker than the vodka!!! I can hear my guts churning just thinking about a Big Mac!:stinks:

Teresa, it is probably the same system coming your way. But ours is done tomorrow too. This being an all female branch, with no males to keep our sidewalks de-iced, guess who volunteered to go out and throw down salt on our already slick sidewalks? Yup....the tomboy, lol! Good thing my daddy taught me this much needed skill.
 
2013 is here! Happy new year all you lovely people!

I had a relaxed night home with the pets. Fireworks are starting to ease up so I think the animals will settle soon and I can go to bed. They are not too jumpy but the dog is a bit nervous. Keeping some music on for a while more. The cats actually enjoyed the fireworks from the window with me. :)

Hey my chronie family! I've missed you all soooo much!!! So the party is at Bobberts??! I'm on my way!! 8:20pm here. Crowded in the new house, surrounded by family, friends, and the hubby :heart: Just got all moved over...its been nuts!!!

I want to thank you all! I've gotten so many messages, and words of encouragement over these last days...weeks??? ...no...just feels like weeks! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Love You!!!! Hugs everyone!!!

Mike is still in pain. But he found out he has a herniated disc in his neck and 2 bulging in lower back! (From MRI'S)The ribs are still very sore. Going to see Dr. soon. His boss knows about it. But happy New Year all you nuts! Bee happy and well for the coming year. it's been a good year, no matter what else has happened for me, because I know all of you. My first year with all my new, but some of my dearest, friends. My goal this year is to learn to play the piano better so I can play for next year's Christmas Eve party. Bear, I hope you have kicked out all your guests by now, and made sure you took car keys away from those that couldn't drive. Phew! I can smell those cigars from here. Bug, did you make it to Bear's party? I hope so. Trysha, glad you made it home and hope you get some well deserved rest. Kirsty, oh sweet Kirsty, may your desserts always be as sweet as you. I love all my adopted family. Just keep hugging that scary wayward uncle until he is worth mentioning by name again.:ghug::hug::ghug:
 
Happy New Year!!! Well, hubs fell asleep right before midnight. There was alot of fireworks outside but none inside:blush:
 
Best Wishes and better health for all of you and me.Was snuggly warm in bed by 10pm,but fireworks started at 11 so had to get up with Alfie.He was unsettled and paced the floor until 1am.He's absolutely terrified.Hopefully no more tonight.Had a nice long walk along the coast,sunny but cold breeze.Gonna do a juice soon then settle down with TV or a book.Taking my first WIN of the year but NOT my last.........Wheres are you ROBERT ???? UNDER THE TABLE or HIDING IN SOMEONES WARDROBE ????? hope it was worth it !!!!

Just saw the movie "Lincoln" and it was good. We didn't have to schedule it around Ashley, so the Utes are winning again, forever and always.
