Kirsti's photo is great! Good to "see" you back again Trev. Hello to all, guaranteed no cartwheels happening here...

You sure know how to bring things to a standstill Trev.,so I'll take the win thanks.

And if you don't mind me asking, what's a "Warrentologist" ???

I know I could google it but your answer is sure to be much more interesting.

I used to issue warrant of fitness's to cars, one day I got a letter addressed to the Chief warrentoligist, and the tittle stuck. simple really. and yes I thought I had scared you all off and won.

It's nice to come home from work and see the banter, I love it. Be careful with those O tanks Sandy :)

Remember High Tea on Monday everyone :)

Love your new pic. Trev but you look better with your hat and shirt on :eek2:

I was bored and googled myself, it came with lots of info on this site, so I changed pic and changed some details so only friends can see. don't want joe public knowing my business.

What's this about Trev,Kirsty and talk about positions? I thought this was a pg thread. I give an all inclusive hello to my LOW crohnies...accomplices?...even Robert. :thumleft:

Sigh. Sigh sigh sigh ~SIGH~ sigh. Now I have a heart monitor to wear for four weeks solid, to go along with my oxygen tanks. You're correct Carol, I don't do anything half way. ~sigh~

:rosette1::ghug::Karl::getwell::tear::sorry:

Get better soon!

Harder to read though - especially for those of us that read a lot! But fun. Although I would hate to be the guy that had to check for spelling errors. :ywow:

5 minutes and we are heading home. Hope someone has been mowing our lawns. Our kiwifruit season is finally over.

Take it slow and get there safe Trev.

Sandy lots of loves and if course you can have decaf tea.

Good Afternoon all.......Thought you might like to know that baby Robins eat 14 ft (4mtrs)
of earthworms a day.

My kids have pushed off on their own recently and I have to admit that as much as I miss them, I am enjoying the freedom of having an identity besides "Mom" again. :ysmile:

I remember watching out a window (with my mother ironically) a robin and a large earth worm have a tug-of-war on the front lawn. The bird would get the worm out a couple of inches or more, the fat worm would pull back about half the distance, to do it again over and over until it was more than comical. Mom and I were laughing hysterically. Finally, of course, the bird won, but fell backwards with its victory, but quickly recovered and scooped the longest worm I have ever seen back up and flew away with its prize. Mom still asks me to this day if I remember that bird.
Time for my prize now.

Hi it's me again........The sparrow was imported to New York in 1850 to cope with an excess of tree worms.

Most New Yorkers have never seen tree worms.....so well done little sparrows !!!!

Hi, me again. I knew I liked sparrows for a reason. Where were the sparrows imported from, do you know? UK? That would be cool.

Wow...Tynemouth must be like Texas, where everything is bigger. A 4 meter earthworm. Now that's good eating!

And you call yourself a Stephen King fan!
:ytongue:

Yes,but you sometimes read some of the more obscure books.

He has a new release tomorrow, second in the Mr.Mercedes trilogy, and another (not part of the trilogy) at the end of the month.I can't keep up.My book mountain is getting insurmountable....:frown:

The Dark Half is obscure? Well worth adding to your mountain.

Oh I have read that one, looks like I'm due another look.
I have a feeling it's in the pile.I often buy the oldies from charity shops and markets.:thumright:

Technically,the banana is a berry.:soledance:

Oh,my darlin' Happy,Happy Birthday.......

If it's on Tuesday (tomorrow from up here) have a wonderful day and let Steve spoil you.

:drink::bdayparty::cheerss::birthday2::applause::applause::applause::hug:

Morning all, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend? Happy Birthday Kirsty! Have a wonderful time on your special day. Winning for now

For your birthday Kirst, my gift is to not sing to you and break your eardrums. I hope this is your best year ever. You are fantabulous!
:bdayparty::bdayparty::bdayparty:
(Oops, I forgot. )

:birthday2::birthday2::birthday2:
:rosette2:

I think everyone got lost so I'll take the win while I can. (You might have a new record Carol. )

My broadband went kappuut yesterday..........but got lots done and then got bored.Isn't it strange how we start to depend on things ? I fought against technology for years, didn't need it,but lost without it now.Having said that.I'm no whizz kid.I just play around with it.Well, off to the shops for a mooch around.

I will accept the prize for having the longest win on record.....you can all club together and buy me something appropriate, thankyou in anticipation.

ANOTHER long win......for goodness sake all of you, show some enthusiasm. If each posted twice a day,it would be an improvement.......Use it or lose it !!!!

Thought for today;

Banging your head against the wall uses 150 calories,(beats giving up Chocolate and jogging) Another thought ;How often do you see a "smiling" jogger ?

Morning all, winning - sorry I missed posting the last couple of days Carol was a little busy - will try to curb that tendency. Winning

Hahaha,I'm not the boss of this thread Grumps,so please don't apologise to me......It would be a shame to let it fizzle out though, as we would all lose touch with one another.Quite a few of the "fun"threads I belong to have ground to a halt, and are no more. :frown:

Trysha are you OK ?:rosette2:

I got a snoring husband next to me :)

Oh,I know that soooo well (not from Steve of course)

My hubs (Les) is quite a gentle snorer as a rule, but I'm not a deep sleeper,so if I'm awake even a gentle snuffle stops me getting to sleep.I mean they would let you off if you smothered him for loud snores,:shifty: but I would probably go to the gallows if I smothered him for snuffles.

I'm having a nice cuppa tea and watching some UK cricket 20/20. He will be awake soon as he has golf today.

I reckon if people have the right to go to work sick, then those that are well have the right to stay home and work. Or just stay home.

big day today, my daughter is getting married, hope things can get back to normal tomorrow. too much stress, and its raining, although supposed to clear this afternoon.

Good luck for today Trev. Just enjoy the moment, enjoy the day with your daughter [emoji3]

Congratulations Papa Trev! Best wishes for your daughter and her new husband.

Well, Doug and I signed our wills and trust documents today, and I'm sorry there isn't enough in our vast "estate" (ha ha ha he he ha ha ho ho ha ha ha ha ha) to leave anything to all of you if we want to leave anything at all (about five cents each) to our nine siblings. Let's see, I've got about five minutes to make post #2 for the day.

I wish I hadn't mentioned it now........I mean who cares if this thread fizzles out ???

There are better things to amuse myself with.
Best wishes Trev and family, and the rest of you have a happy day.

Hey now! There may be better ways to amuse myself but I look forward to checking in with the fine folks here. The humor and sarcasm gets me through some rather crappy days. You make me laugh until the looks from my co-workers let's me know I am laughing loud enough for them to hear me. Like I care. :ylol:

Laughter is important,but sometimes it's a struggle eh ?

" When choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I've never tried before!

Mae West (and me)

Somedays life is a struggle, but for me everyone here helps me get thru those days, as well as the good days. You guys are my crohnnies, my gut guys, the only ones who truly understand the day to day issues of coping with this disease and other comorbidities.

Just a short post (for me) while I have a brief cell phone signal. We have gone for a drive and picnic up in the canyons next to where we live, in an effort to entertain (former but we most of the time still claim him) foster son. His behavior is soooooo much better when he doesn't live with us. Definitely winning.

I always knew you were a bad influence Sandy....:rof::rof::rof:

An almost 21hr win Sandy.

This thread is definitely struggling......

So,ok,what's everybody wearing today ????

Me; Light blue jeans,navy T., navy mules,boring I know,but keep watching.

I'm wearing my pink and gray pajamas as I just woke up and it's noon. :eek2: :awe: In my defense, I'm always worn out after kiddo; I took an allergy pill that always knocks me out as I went to bed last night, and I have my sleep disorders I always complain about. It's embarrassing I can sleep so long, so I don't know why I'm telling all of you about it.

Olive green slacks with apple green top black sandals
(She said climbing out from under a stone!)
Hi Everyone...
Thank you for the kind thoughts Sandy and Carol
Better now
Enjoying the sunshine although the weather is a bit cool for June

I got a snoring husband next to me :)

I am that snoring husband. :medal1: I may be infrequent, life outside of CD is demanding. I am feeling better, thanks to cannabis and remicade, and trying to be the partner I have been unable to be for the last year and a half. Taking care of my Dad has been challenging as well. I know I don't have to preach to the choir.

So..what is this LOW being stale and what not? I suppose all good things must come to an end...hmmm...makes me think of Carol for some reason...and the elusive cuppa. ;)

Just had a nice walk along the Harbour.Trouble is,it's down quite a steep bank and coming back up is getting to be a struggle, especially when it's warm.Hubs wanted to take the car down, then walk along the quay, but I'd rather walk while I'm able.Use it or lose it !!! Having said that ,I complained all the way home hahaha.
Welcome back Trysha & Dave.

Wearing much the same as yesterday, but fresh.....T-shirt is navy with a floral patchwork front with sparkly bits, today.

After 3 days of hosting family company I was glad to see them but am also now glad to see them go. House returned to normal (well, as close as it's ever gonna get in my world) and laundry done. Back at work now counting the days until the next weekend. Where does time go???

I always knew you were a bad influence Sandy....:rof::rof::rof:

I happen to know he's on good behavior with us because he wants to come back here to live. Melts my little heart.

And Shanen, time goes gone, that's all I know.

Dave and Trysha and everyone, it is good to see you posting again. Yay B team!

And today I'm wearing oxygen, a heart monitor, and glasses, and a smile.

...Oh, yeah, and jeans and a button down black and gray patterned top.

And the win.

LOW being stale? I don't think so. I just think it is coming on summer time and people are doing things outside. Not as much time to be on LOW.

Ah Sandy, you spoilt it with the last sentence......;)

Why is the only question that comes to my mind...it's not my personal favorite. But that deserves a win. Until now.

Not mine either,to fatty now unfortunately (the spam, not me....although !!!)

Groaking is to watch people eating food in the hope that they'll offer you some

(but not Spam)

morning all, hope everyone is fine and had a great weekend - have to go do payroll so the minions don't rise up and overrun my space..... I hope you all have a wonderful day, sending positive thoughts to all - winning

... said Doug as he was tucked safely inside snoring away in his chair in front of the television.

I just scanned LOW, so my turn to win.

Hi Everybody
Stormy sunny day today....I got soaked in the downpour and subsequently was dried
By the warm sunshine.
Spam has far too much salt in it as well as fat.......
Good to see everyone in fine repartee form today

Wet here today, very windy today the wind blew two four tonne shipping containers in to the sea. And you wonder why they call us Windy Wellington!

Americas first nudist organisation was founded in 1929 by three men......

Yep,that would be right !!! Doug,Dave and Ducky (on a visit)

Robba was endeavouring to do the same in the UK but alas it was January.
Trev. is opening a N.Z. branch when he finishes his D.I.Y.

its winter here, so I will be staying well rapped up for the next few months.

Are you asleep yet K.,??? You don't half have some sleepless nights don't you ??? It's just THE worst thing for me.I hate it.Therefore I take a small dose O.T.C.sleeping tablet most nights.I know you're not supposed to take them for too long,so I do ease off occasionally. But the side effects are less important to me than sleeplessness...........

No news from his lordship. As I mentioned e few weeks back,Kylie said she wouldn't mind dating a fella with grey hair and a paunch,so perhaps they've found each other ???
