You will have a relapse coming back this soon. Will soon be on a ward with Sandy.

Hey!

So happy to see you again Carol. Laying around when you don't want to gets old fast, so keep yourself occupied and read a book or five.
Last night's dinner was delicious, by the way. Pan seared pork chops with kamut and fresh salsa. Not a good crohny dinner, but fresh and delicious (and it's a good thing Doug is in remission).

Whew! Just in time! I have to get going. Time to head to the optical shop to pick out new glasses for these old eyes. Have a great day (or night) all!

we crohnie types are always busy, doctors app, hospital app, trying to sleep, trying to wake up, trying to poop, trying not to poop, trying to eat , trying not to eat, taking meds, hoping not to take meds and on and on....... sooooo busy, lordy im tired now lol..

Fantastic news Carol...wonderful for you to be home
Hope you have a very speedy recovery
Don't forget it is still major surgery and a massive assault on the body
Take it slowly and easy does it
No lifting anything for at least three months
Cheers!
Get well soon
Hugs and best wishes
Trysha

Isn't it the 21st century? :rof::rof::rof:

Could be. Anyway, my duty is now to take on a great empire of Metal Mickey clones.

My plan is to make them overdose on 'Atomic Thunderbusters', which look suspiciuosly like lemon bonbons.

I'll be following suit. Effen hypos at midnight. Still trying to get blood sugar level up. Who wants to eat at this time if night? Not me that's for sure.

I don't know ......I turn my back for 5 minutes and you all go mad !!!!!

Except for Trysha & Kirsty of course. Pull yourselves together the rest of you,for goodness sake !!!

The cunning must be coming up with tired cliches, then spring the trap with something inventive. I wonder when that will be.

the fact she/ he said they were delicous should tell you she/he caught at least one, btw iv ate loads,......

I'm a different species, so can't be tracked that way. Anyway, with that info you may catch one after all these years.

Already answered that, so obvious blind spot. Not really a help when hunting. Espicially when hunting a rabid duck.

Hello peeps. How are you feeling Carol? I'm still trying to wake up at two in the afternoon. Fell asleep before I ordered my glasses last night also, so didn't have time to cook. Tandoori chicken tomorrow because KFC last night (yuck). Rigatoni puttanesca with eggplant & fresh oregano tonight. (Doug can have my eggplant, I don't like it. )

Eeek! Where did all those posts before mine appear from? I swear they weren't there just a moment ago! You've all been busy! Yowzers!

We had storms yesterday....today is hot and sunny
Quite a busy day getting a room nice and spiffy for my young relatives arriving next week from Hertfordshire UK
Niagara Falls will be a must visit as will Toronto with all its big stores and the Provincial Houses of Parliament.
Why do I feel fatigued??
Hope you are progressing well Carol and feeling better every day
Winning....

Wow...that is quite a production Dusty....good to see you around here
Winning......

I'm lurking for the win.
Trysha, you're fatigued because you have crohn's.
Ducky, we still like you, even if Dusty buried you alive. But you dug out. You always do.

I'm winning cause I've crawled back to bed at midday. I had a hypo at midnight and couldn't get by sugars up until 2 am, then another at 4:30.

Kirst, I'm concerned about you! I'll pm you later about a couple thoughts that might help you, but need to take care of some family business (relatives coming in not too distant future, a good thing), so might not be until tomorrow. Hugs, my friend!

Dusty, woould you like some of my olanzapine. It may help stop these delusions of success.

You may have been successful though Dusty, had your vision not been obscured by the tears.

Ducky is spreading the duck poop around now that I am back.

Me miss? Never! When I am bored at work this is how I amuse myself…

…dream on ducky, I ain’t missing no little ducks.

Have you missed me Dusty? My life sucks at the moment. I'll trade you my hypos for...anything!

All I want to know is that when I go to sleep that I will wake up. I don't like night time hypos, I mean what happens if you don't wake up? Coma?

Yes, a hypo will send you into a coma if not treated in time. :(

Are you on insulin?

I'm on no medication that would lower my blood sugars. I'm on metformin for my PCOS, I've been having them since January and now they come daily, last night was the first time for night hypos. Hence I see the endocrinologist on 1 Sept.

I'm starting to place bets with my mates that I'm going to qualify for a new disease [emoji12]

I'm waving a white flag, that says truce for the duck, and swim in peace little Ducky.
