Kirsty, All of my English roots came from Gloucestershire. Kings Stanley, Leonard Stanley, Cheltenham. I've never been there, but it is on my bucket list.

I'm back! Aren't I bee-u-tiful with my new specs?

And I'm winning! (And humble)

Are you sure you really want it K.,? Are you well enough ? Is your home and Garden big enough ? are your neighbours friendly ?

Yes, probably not, yes, yes, and no idea. But maybe I'm turning in to a nocturnal animal.

Sorry Om3ga, it's mine again. For two seconds at least, because I'm not staying today. But I'll be back in the end. Just fair warning...

Oh right, I'll get me an invisibility cape, haha I'll be winning all the time then and you won't even know lol.. ;-)

Ah but iv not got it yet,it's on order tho !! this is turning into a me n you fest, where's is everyone ? Not that I mind of course :)

Wow, informative doc apt., good, bad, and ugly. Found out that all these years I have complained of what I told was just "excessive daytime sleepiness," it was hidden in my records from a sleep study in '08 that I actually have narcolepsy. I also get to add another trial med for my diabetes, a nightly injection of victoza (in addition to glucophage). The good news, however, is as of now I get to go off the oxygen in the daytime! YAY YAY YAY! No more lugging tanks around when I leave the house. I keep looking for my "leash," though (my oxygen tubing). I don't know what to do with my new found freedom. Except. ...
I'm winning!
For my prize, would you come redo my kitchen, Trev? I would be happy if it was just the floor in my kitchen area, actually. Easy, peazy, right?
I hope your treatment went well Grumps.

Wonderful oxygen news Sandy and hopefully the new trial med will make a difference. :ghug: Can't help you with the kitchen.

Good news at last Sandy, that will make a difference not lugging tanks around
Hope the new Medes make a big difference for you
Winning......

Oh sandy, I'm so so pleased for you that must be wonderful not to have to take the tank everywhere, just brilliant.. Hope the new meds work, can they help with the narcolepsy hun? X

Hi grumpy 1 hope the new treatment works really well for you, best wishes for a more comfortable time ahead..

Hi trev hope the kitchen is done now, so you can take some well earned rest, put those plates of meat up n take it easy for a while ye!!

Good day all, winning AGAIN, and back later for ANOTHER win,

You might as well give up and do something useful instead !!!

Sleeping would be useful, but I take the win.

Oh, Kirsty !!! Do you have a nap during the day ???:drink: :sign0085:

I HATE insomnia, along with many.many other things.Of course,I've never heard anyone say they love it.I hope you're in the Land of Nod now, sweet dreams.:yfaint::awe:That's a yaaaaaawn.

Morning all, just quickly touching base to say hello and thanks for all the kind words. Hope everyone has a great day, talk to you all later. Winning for a minute.

Now what's fun about that??

Well, winters on the way so you could knit socks for the parrot,or if you haven't got one, somebody elses parrot :rof::rof::rof:

Going off now (yes,I hear you,I've been going off for a while)

So play nice,kids.:ghug:

@Mandy, they have had me on the highest recommended dosage of meds for narcolepsy for years anyway, that particular doc just didn't bother to tell me the proper diagnosis.
@ Kirsty and Carol, I had a very rough night also, (yes, narcoleptics can and often do get insomnia, but sleep cycles are not completed when do sleep which causes additional excessive sleepiness) and Carol, I loved the :awe: yawn.
I hope everyone feels better and enjoys their Friday. As Doug works his 40 hours in four days instead of five (and because crohn's is fatiguing), he is home resting (and snoring) in his favorite chair. All of you are probably about done or well done :)rof:) with Friday, so have a great weekend all.

Ah right sandy, well they should have been on it there argh docs, half the time we never get the full story do we? Glad Doug is resting he must be done in, you rest up to girl, you take easy my friend x

Aw, you're too kind. But I'll give it back to you for awhile, I've got to go take care of something else. Feel better. It's uphill from here. :ghug:

No, no, no....downhill Sandy, Downhill. No more uphill darn it. Quick check in while on lunch. Back to the grind then off for a week - yay!!!!!!! Winning almost.

Enjoy the break off work grumpy 1, but I'm winning again, now iv washed the pots, as they don't seen too wash themselves, nor does the washing up fairy ever visit my house :-(

Or maybe not trev, who knows lol, you just might win, Coz I'm off to bed got a day trip planned for tomorrow and need my ugly sleep lol. Hope you are good pal..

Very disappointing since I expected to be at part 2

My nephew and his wife arrive from UK tomorrow for their holiday.
The weather is heating up again and is expected to reach 30degC by Sunday.
Sorry you are having a tough time Sandy, feel better soon
