I have tried to upload a utube video of our rabbit but can't. So please view, like and share .. Type in ' my bunny impersonating a cat' its our baby bunny doing one of her tricks. It should be the first one at top of the list , (Niall is the posters name.)

I heard on the radio yesterday that car fatalities go up by 17% for four days after losing that hour of sleep. Figures. Our beautiful spring weather changed to snow the past couple of days. Ugh! It will be changing back quickly tho, thank goodness.
I hope all goes well with the colonoscopy, Mandy. Double ugh for that one, but hopefully you stay healthy with keeping on top of knowing what is going on health wise. Also, did you know that arthritis and crohn's are often associated? Doug has had some arthritis problems, but the worst of it seemed to pass quickly for him (or he just doesn't complain anymore). So far any way.

Sandy ye i know about the arthritis, which is what i was asking him if i may have due to my crohns. Im pretty sure i have tho. My fingers are changing shape bending and im now getting the knobble knuckle on at least one finger😮.
Hope Doug has halted his and its not that he is just not complaining. 💕

It seems to have gone away. Maybe Humira is doing something about it. :)

Having a short rest after cooking lunch,washing up,doing the laundry and ironing......
Not much I know,but I've been used to there just being the two of us for nearly
25 years and an extra one makes a huge difference.Boy can he eat !!! and boy,does he go through some clean clothes.But I'm not complaining,just knackered.Off for a walk soon,down to the coast.I might need a piggy-back home.........Winning
 
We live at the mouth of the River Tyne.Well almost.It's a ten minute walk,if you're fit.
At the mouth of the river we have a half mile long pier,and across on the south side there's another pier ,about three quarters of a mile long.We had a leisurely stroll along "our" pier,and lo and behold a pod of Dolphins came alongside and gave us a show.
Absolutely wonderful !!!
 
Oh, I'm so jealous Carol! I've only seeing dolphins in their natural habitat once in my life, and that was swimming along side a boat that held about 15 of us off of Catalina Island, which we chartered specifically to look for wildlife when on a cruise to Mexico. They are such fascinating creatures!
I'm glad it sounds like you are enjoying your son's visit, even if he is eating you out of house and home and wearing you out.

Carol you are reminding me to reset my inner time clock even further with my upcoming trip to England.
It has been hard enough with the one hour forward and now I have to add another four hours.
Makes me feel tired thinking about it especially since the last few days have been a little off
Hoping it will leave me free for a good journey and sojourn in the UK.
Such a lovely sunny day here still bitterly cold though but as long as there's no white stuff and no hurricanes we will be happy.

I'm here Shanen,but that was another long win.Some of our crohnies are having trouble
with LOWs.
So I will happily take the win while they sort themselves out.

Trysha,it's almost 6-30pm here and it's just dusk.Clocks forward 1hr next weekend.Weather seems to be settled and greenery definitely more noticeable in the hedgerows.Lots of spring flowers and new lambs,but lots more to come.

Hi Doug, glad I'm not the only one.. Hope you get them again. I find I do for a while then not, until I get the new posts up n find low n post via that.. Then they kick in again :ybatty:

I also get told sometimes to open a new window
Guess the web experts are still working on it

Doug and I haven't had email notifications in weeks and weeks now (not just a couple weeks). I always just use the drop down list of subscribed threads. But I've been on people strike lately, ignoring all forums, emails, and most phone calls, but ready to come back because I could use a win.
Maybe I'll just sneak in Trysha's suitcase because I could use a vacation too.

Last day of Scotts visit.As you can imagine,I'll be in bits tomorrow.We've has such a good time and I had forgotten how funny he can be.I will miss him dreadfully,but I'll be ok in a day or two.
I'm getting all my notifications via subscription,plus occcassional emails,which I haven't requested.......winning

Hi Sandy, our families are there. India is our home :) They were helpless being far away when hubby was diagnosed and struggling. Now that he is in remission, we are all looking forward to the trip :)

Camping sounds so much fun! I'm so eager for the spring flowers. Personally hate the cold weather

That's great. I'm sure you will have fun! I am going to South India. Chennai is the city's name. Its where my husband and I were born and we grew up there. Our families are still out there.

I can't imagine being separated that far from family. (Tho sometimes I would like to be, from some of them at least. My bad.) Seriously, living so far from your homeland must be difficult. I can only imagine how much you are looking forward to being back.
As to the camping, I used to really, really enjoy it, but it is getting harder each year, even with a trailer. I do love being out in nature though.

The Utahn's are feeling pretty proud of ourselfs right now. After all, for the first time in recorded history, we heard CNN refer to Utah as a "Crucial State" in the presidential elections last night. Woo Hoo!

Hi there, time for a win down under. Madhu, I've heard of Chennai, but mainly due to IPL cricket. Happy Easter everyone. I've just made a peach chutney today. Next week I have an MRI abdomen and anther neck ultrasound. I also have a wedding anniversary :) . Just getting over infection sinus, larynx and chest, hence why you haven't heard me for a while ;)
 
Glad to see you around Kirst, but you've got to quit finding new things to add to long list of health maladies. Congrats to you and Steve on your anniversary.

Oh wow, someone who knows IPL :) Our place in chennai is right opposite to the cricket stadium. I'm not a big fan but I watch important matches :p Good luck with the MRI and happy anniversary :)
 
I looked up Chennai on the Internet, and it sounds like a very interesting place. I'm going to have to add it to the places I would like to see some day.
Today was a weird, emotional day. Would you all hold my place in line for the win if I'm gone for a couple days? I'm not sure how much I'll be around the next couple days as a lot is going on. (I might be here but I might not. )

The main reason for being here is serious illness in the family....one quite dire with newly diagnosed pancreatic cancer.....I am here for moral support and all the things we do as family.this news greeted me last Friday.very sad indeed.
Looking forward to some shopping and whatever recreation is available.

It was a lovely spring day today but no shopping since it's Easter
Can't wait to view the latest fashions.....may buy something from Debenhams or John Lewis
Have to wait for a driver of course.
Food tastes quite different but it is quite nice.
The security was at a very high level at the airport when we landed
Men in ordinary clothes carrying inconspicuous guns......others police in uniform with bullet proof vests...everyone very calm....a bit unnerving at times.
It was nice to have sunshine and no rain.

Just peeking in for a second. I'm sorry about the circumstances of your trip Trysha. I wondered how security would be in the airport with all the goings on of late. We had three Utahns seriously injured in the Belgium attacks, one of whom quite well known by a friend of many years son-in-law.
My dad passed away last Friday, but I was estranged from him and don't know quite how to take it. Although not a very nice man (to put it mildly), he was still my dad.

I talk too much. :(
 
So sorry Sandy. Tight hugs :( Irrespective of the indifferences you may have had, as you said, he was your dad. It is always tough to lose a parent.

Isn't it amazing just how strong we are,mentally that is.
None of us want to feel anguish or to grieve ,and in the small wee hours of night, we tell ourselves we couldn't or wouldn't cope in certain situations.I know I do.
But we always do cope somehow,and that old platitude,Life goes on,is certainly true.
Hugs to all who are having a sad time,and are struggling,and to the rest of you who are muddling through life in a daze...........I'm winning.

The English rain is prettier and more sparkly than ours although you do have a lot more of it
Such a quiet and peaceful day with the sun peeping out behind the rain clouds.
Good to sit and talk and reminisce....living in the olden days....covered a lot of history.
