That's so funny Sandy and Doug. I just came back from Ma and Pa's for lunch. Had homemade burgers, ma made the buns, grew the tomatoes and made her own mayo. I also had cheese and gherkin in mine. Home now and resting.

I have a question, does anyone know what a sharp pain in upper right quadrant is? Hard to tell if its at back or front. I would describe it as high pitch pain, stabbing. I have had it for a couple of days, today is the worst yet.

I thought the same thing. if so, does it get worse after laying down for awhile or even the middle of the night? is it worse sometimes a few hours after greasy or spicy foods? then the pain will seem to go away entirely for hours at a time?
 
Hi, I fell asleep just woke up. It seems worse after eating. Yes I do have my gall bladder but not my appendix
 
The pain does go away and it has now. The area is just tender. I had pain all morning but it was worse after driving home from ma's
 
Sounds like gall bladder Kirst. But usually you'll get sick after you eat and at night. My sister in law was throwing up only at night a few times and they took out hers. I still have mine. You may have had a stone and it moved to block a bile duct and tha could cause problems. Plz get checked out ASAP!!!
 
I'm watching a taped version of the Westminster dog show. I used to not like dogs, but I don't know what was wrong with me then. everybody needs an animal or two in their lives. :biggrin:
 
hey Kirsty i get that pain often, i dont have a gallbladder, so im no help as usual.
 
Kirsty, I really hope you feel better, hon. do get that checked. Trev, keep it off mischief.

jeans and a lightweight green sweatshirt that is ultra comfy. you?

I think Doug thinks I caused the laryngitis, me and my mouth and all.
 
LOL! I'm waering a light blue mens long sleeved shirt. Comfy gray stretchy danceskin pants, and my lovely purple deerfoam slippers(bacteria traps ) as Mike calls them.:ybiggrin:

Robbie Roar hasn't been around enough to get the grrs out of lately. Trev, glad to know a man can multi task. (don't tell anyone, I can't walk and chew gum at the same time)
 
Not really, my GI thought it just masked my crohns when I had a reaction to it I came off it then all my ulcers went mad and I got real sick

My Dad is on it for arthritis. His right leg is all swollen. I wonder if it could be a reaction to that. He's only been on it a few months.

makes the pain go away a little, doesn't it? I've been trying to laugh some people away this week, but it didn't work. I'm just going to have to stay away from them.

I have all these notes written to myself all around this desk, to remember things I found online. Do you think I can remember what the heck they all are???

that's why I have a smart phone. so I can hide all the notes that I don't know what they are for.
 
UH HUH! Now I know why everyone has one!!! I still have my cheap tracfone. It's good enuf for me. Jimmy cracked corn, but I don't care!!!:ybiggrin:MY Massa's gone away!:ybiggrin:

some of the dogs are bouncing and jumping because they are having a great time. How are the cats, Kirst?

beef and bean burrito and cheddar fries. I've gotta start being better again. most of stress of this week gone. find out my niece who had pace maker adjustment turned complications during surgery, turned pneumonia, seepage from surgery site (daughter of sis who just had surgery and same niece who almost died in childbirth of her kiddo few months ago) found out allergies with sutures. pacemakers and allergies to sutures don't mix well.

i have been installing solar for years for many people, just installed a new system on our motor home, what do u want to know.
 
I didn't know that they named snowstorms. Just found out that winter storm "Rocky" is headed here.
