I've been here, mostly just reading... I was gone for a couple of weeks at the beginning of July, though, I moved to Quebec! Has it ever been hot!! Phew! Glad to hear you have been enjoying the summer, Cindy.

I don't know about the supplements as far as how much fiber they have and how it would affect someone... but, I do eat konnyaku noodles and never had any problems. Maybe try a big bowl of noodles first before buying a bottle of supplements?? :)

Ugh, it's hot here, too... Not as bad as you poor Torontonians have it, but I haven't been in humidity like this in a loooooooong time! Today was the hottest day this summer, for sure. Lots of time spent indoors during the day, and going out after the sun goes down...

I've had solumedrol while in hospital, and then oral prednisone once I was released... If you're having the solumedrol before your remicade, I'd imagine that's the same idea as me taking prednisone prior to my Humira shot. Do you know what your dosage is?

My name pretty much gives it away, I'm in the hospitality industry. It's hard to work when I'm flaring - constantly running to the bathroom, and nausea so bad that the smell of food makes me feel sicker... Luckily, until now, I've had very understanding employers. Not sure how other places...

Hahaha, Ian, thanks for noticing! :) It's true, batman; You can take one dose of pred every two weeks, without needing to taper. Even for weekly injections, my doc said it would be OK. Pred worked really well for my injection site reactions, but - opposite of you - I was really allergic to...
