Winning
I am tired. Just got back from agility. Seemd we were more active then usual. Even my dog is tired and thats not often. Off to make a cup of hot tea and then see what on the telly. How is everyone today? Hope you all had a good weekend.
Teresa.. when I spent one year at my dads in Washington (state) and went to hight school there my PE teacher wold cus by shouting out "Frizze frazzle Pittsburgh Pensulvania" He was a bit fat man (also the boys football and baseball coach). Just came to my mind.
Was he from Pittsburgh, or don't you know??? That is funny!!! How's your weather???
I don't think so, but not sure. He might have been.
Its cold -8C (17F). But not too bad since there is no wind. But there is no sun too.. starting to miss the sun.

I will take that win back now thank you.
Will someone send some warmth this way??? Pretty please?
SanniDid you get the sunshine I sent you yesterday in previous post???
Carol,
I think you can get spikes for the bottom of your shoes. I would invest in some if it gets icy alot. You dog people:hug:. A young man brought a bejon-poodle mix in the lobby after church and it was the cutest little thing to see. Peach colored and so sweet. They don't shed at all. I would love to have one, but hubs says no beasts in the house!!!
I've got spikes T.,thanks for your concern though.I think the pup would be a Bichon Frise x Poodle. Bichons are very popular over here. One of my friends had a couple.Mikes probably worried a pup would get all the attention, which of course it would. They can't look after themselves.Ones just this minute gone past the house, wearing a blue coat.Soaking wet,and the owner looked as sick as a parrot.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! -4°F here at 8:30 in the morning. Can anyone believeI've been awake since 7:00 a.m.? Not like me. I do have to get ready for work, but not going until about 11:30, just in time to going to a restaurant as part of my job to eat lunch.
trust me Teresa, it is not worth the work! (until you get one then you don't know what you would do without one)
Bundle up Babybee and stay warm. Bee's usually won't go outside when it's cold! :eek2:So stay warm and have a great day. I lost the last 2 pms last night you sent saying goodnight. So if there was anything important, plz resend. I accidentally erased them!!! :eek2:Loves!:ghug:
I did have dogs early on in my first marriage and I do know all the work. I guess you forget in time. My first husband shot a dog we had because he wouldn't house break. I felt like shooting him! He took care of himself....

WILL THAT HELP LOVE??? :ghug:
Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you! So cold here that my counter is cold, resting my arms on it, and my hands will not get warm....
stick them up ya jumper Cheryl :rof::rof::rof:
Hmmmm
Robert, how many times have I told you, that is not Kylie singing to you, it's one of the voices in your head...
stopped back just long enough to laugh at that one.

I have spikes too. Right now the walkways are well cared for and actually dont need them, but there was a couple days not too long ago i could not leave the house with out them.
I have to say my dog changed my life. He is physical and mental therapy all in one little cute package. :ghug: Love him so much. Never had a dog before so all has been new with him. I remember the first night I came home with him and I had a friend with me to pick him up. But once she left I had a panick atack. I was sitting on the floor thinking what the &/(% did I do taking a dog and was barely able to breathe. And that has truly been the only time I ever had any similar thoughs. He has been a joy.
Sounds like what happens when you bring a baby home from the hospital (your first). You are pretty much terrified and not sure you are ready for this, and of course, how can you be till you raise one??? Then after awhile the joys start to outweigh :hug:the negatives and you fall madly in love with them; till they turn into teenagers. Then you want to WELL, let's just say strangle them!!!:eek2:
You know, T, I was there for a bit, before my last Crohn's flare...I assumed the hot flasshes left me because I dropped weight so quickly, but they've not come back yet. I enjoyed 2 winters of not being so cold, it was great. Now, back to being cold....
I have always been an animal person. Just one dog now, growing up had 2 cats and 2-3 dogs normally. But Jessi is great, love my doggie! Makes me laugh, every day. She's warm to cuddle up too. Minds me better than my kids do, lol!
No, but they do get old and can be quite a challenge then. Hopefully yours won't...
She is a "herding" dog, T. She looks just like a border collie, the vet can't believe she isn't one. But her mom was austrailain shepherd and her dad was blue heeler. All 3 are working/herding dogs, popular around here with the farmers. She is black and white, with light brown markings above both eyes that look like eye brows. Very smart dogs.
It is hard, one of the hardest things. I believe including the dogs that we had at home, I have been with 4 of them when it was time to put them down. My old roommate and great friend had always said that when it came time for her dog, she wanted me to do it. I had no idea that long after we were no longer roommates that she would still hold me to it, but she did, so when she called, I drove 30 miles over to her house and took her dog, then brought the dog back to her....drove 30 miles back.
Girls are so much more loyal than guys in general. I can make friends with someone in line at the grocery store and know her whole life's history before we leave. We women, I'll tell ya!!!:ylol2::ylol2::ylol2:She is like a sister to me, more so than my own half sister, really. We met when we started the 6th grade. She quit school at 16, and we lost track of each other, the way things go. But then while I was in the later years of college, our then boyfriends began hanging out, our friendship outlasted the boyfriends, lol!
LOL! Ain't it the truth? As I was typing that, I thought to myself, well, you know my family story anyway Teresa, I've already shared where I am with my siblings, so you know, my friends and in laws are better family than my actual family. Fine with that, at least God blessed me with great ones!
If you all want to come up with the milestones, I'll implement them. They should have milestones and titles for more prestigious things, like 1000 posts or 5000 posts etc. 100 posts seems easy to meet. I still vote that Robbie got it for age.

Now, now, King....not so fast. I have a very long stubborn streak, ask Teresa, or Carol, or Robert.
