I thought of wording my post as "for most of us," but this way I have an excuse to reply and win again.

I sleep on "Sandy standard time" which means who know when I'm going to sleep? :boring: But at least I can keep being a pest to everyone here.:D:D:D

Ah ! well if SST allows you to be a pest, good on it i say, love you being a pest  . so other than the not sleeping bit you are well i hope hun,:rosette1:

I'm okayish. How are you?

good glad you're not to bad chic , I'm ok just very tired at the mo, well i say that always tired, but with working more hours n the traveling , i am a bit more tired than usual, guess it will take a while to get used to it, but the fact the job is great makes up for it,never thought that getting up at 5-30 am for work with a smile on my face would ever have happened
need to ring my docs tomoz to see about the scan results as they haven't got back to me that i know of, had a coulpe of private num's come up on my fone but missed the call n of course you cant ring them back so ??
sorry the the book :)

I like to hear what is going on with those here, so book away! I hope you get your results soon, but of course you have to wait thru the weekend. I'm glad you like your new job too, but even with good ones, it wears you out when they are new. Hang in there!

I think I'm going to try Zzzz again, so it's safe for everyone to post again. Of course, I'll be back for the final win. :)

Well, the bike might be a no-no.It's a bit too big for me.I need to be able to put my feet flat on the ground when I stop, and my legs are too short.(Unless I hunt my 70s platform shoes out hahaha) .Being vertically challenged also has a negative affect on my height/weight ratio_Oh,how I struggle !!!
BUT,since I've been on Amitriptyline I sleep really well.So that's something positive eh ?

Off for a walk,back later.Keep yourselves amused.I know you won't have a problem with that Trev.

Oh, Carol, that's too bad about the bike. Can the seat be adjusted down at all? And don't be discouraged, remember short people don't need shrinks, tee hee. :) I've been fighting a headache, so I probably won't be back today, but I'll leave you all with one parting thought:

I've dropped off my testing device for blood glucose levels. I've been to doc and now got antibiotics for my sinus infection and bronchitis. I've been in bed since getting home. Just resting and winning.

Kirsty, you just can't seem to win, can you? Feel better. Hope you get good answers on your tests. Mandy too. Hang in there everyone. :ghug:

hi all , hope you are good or get better soon if your not to good..

hi Sandy ,kirsy, carol, trysha, trev, and anyone i may have missed out (sorry)hope you are all good to today
well im off for a bath n early night,
back to work in the morning.
love n best wishes to all, you all take care now you hear !!

hi kirsty, typical isn't it !! the results of my scans is that they haven't got the result's yet !! hey ho we wait on i guess hun x

Oh Kirsty, no! I'll give this win back to you as it is time for me to wind down, almost 11:30, so not the middle of the night as much as the other night. There is nothing worse than waiting for test results, but to have to test and wait again...
I get to have a two night sleep oxygen test starting tomorrow night, but it is just a simple oxymeter taped to my finger (at home) one night with oxygen and one night without. I suspect I still need it at night, but that is not nearly as hard as tripping over the hose in the daytime.

Mandy, did you ever get your test results back?

It's was good to listen to the endocrinologist. Not that I understand it all completely. But this test will confirm the test results from the first test, which may help as some of my levels were high. The glucose test says I spend about half a night under 4 on average over 7 days. So they will arrange another fasting test in the hospital as well. But we are building a picture from which we should be able to manage life a bit better.

Sandy hope you get a good sleep hun x
Kirsty keeping fingers crossed for things to get better for you hun x

Shanen, what did you do with everyone? Scared em off with a little ol' "me"? I found something on Facebook and it made me think of you.

Getting over bronchitis. My test forms came in the mail today so I will go to the lab and get the containers and get blood tests done today. I'm doing ok.

You're really having a tough time eh? I hope you feel better soon me darlin' x

Gonna have a sloosh down and get me PJs on.Nights are cutting in now.It was the Autumn solstice on Wednesday, equal hours of darkness and daylight, but Darkness is winning the fight.
That reminds me.....where are the Princes of Darkness hiding themselves ? I think we have them beat girls. GOODNESS PREVAILS !!!

Hello ladies and... well, ladies. I hope you are all having a nice day. I know I feel physically better than I did yesterday (deprived of oxygen for one night's testing), but I am trying to figure out how we got word weeks after I finished physical therapy that I don't qualify (by the insurance company) for the second half of the therapy I had. Who will pay the bill? Did the PT place just get around to sending the request in to the insurance and just assume they would cover it? Or was insurance just that slow at notifying us? Did my neurologist have anything to do with this? These are all questions I intend to get to the bottom of, then somebody else may need physical therapy. Also, I think our next door neighbor has been stealing our newspaper for a few weeks. This is don't mess with Sandy when she had her oxygen last night day.:hallo3::D:blush::ywow::ysmile:

Hi, K, hope you're well on the mend. I get to go for a specialized ultrasound in just a few minutes to see if growth on my ovaries has gone away. (Yes, I still have my ovaries, just not other female parts after hysterectomy.)

Go back to bed if you can Kirsty.

I still got mine too. I'm still in bed Sandy. :). I hope ultrasound goes well. Chest infection on it's way out now. Yay!

Thanks Mandy, you take care as well. Trev and Trysha, positive thoughts for a quick surgery and short recovery. Winning.

We'll be here online to help you both with your recovery, eh Carol?[/QU

We sure will :ghug:

I want to know how you're going to help with your feet in the esky Carol, tee hee. (Just kidding of course. )
Actually, I'm sure you would do anything you could, given the right opportunity. All of us do wish you both well, Trev and Trysha. You will be in our thought and/or prayers. It seems I might have a minor surgery myself after a few weeks (I need to get my blood glucose level down first in order to prevent infection), but like I said, it is a minor surgery (to have ovaries with a growth out, oophorectomy is the medical term). They also are in the process of double checking to make sure the ovaries have stopped working so my hormones don't wreck havoc with me later on if they do that surgery (but I'm pretty sure I'm already hormonal enough, tee hee.) In the mean time though, all of our combined energies will be here helping you two mend.
Now I've had my say, i can go back to sleep for another hour before it is time for us to go get ready for church. Talk at y'all later, whether you like it or not.

All the best Trev
May the Force be with you....
Sharing the Win .........

Excellent win Trysha, maybe everyones being kind to you, given the circumstances, but alas I'm not one of them.....:medal1: I WIN !!!

Hi all, just back from the hosp.re the "unidentifiable spongey thing" they found on my Gall bladder, when they took it out. All's well. So maybe I could have kept my GB after all. I wasn't having GB probs.,they discovered something amiss during the usual Crohnie tests.Thing is ,it has to come out to be tested !!!

Not complaining though,just winning.......

I'm in about the same boat as you Carol (hoping the "growth" is benign in my case too). I just barely spoke with my OB/Gyn and although my blood tests show I have some very slight ovarian function left, she wants me to have them removed because of an abnormal growth I have (which is not causing me any great distress or anything). She does want me to get my AIC level (glucose) down first tho, so I have to wait about a month then go see her again and schedule surgery from there.
I'm winning for Trev right now, as i think he might be in surgery right now as his Tuesday is today. Trysha, we'll win for you tomorrow, because even though your surgery is on the same date, your Tuesday is tomorrow   .
Have a great day everyone (including Trev, hope you are not feeling anything except happy drug induced thoughts. :) )

It's 6 am here on Tuesday morning. You have the time zones well and truly sorted Sandy.

I had my hysterical ectomy 26 yrs ago (I was VERY young).Best surgery decision ever.

I had no problems like early menopause, flushes, hormones etc. so I was very lucky.

Are you on meds to lower your glucose levels Sandy,or is it diet.
Aint life a b*tch sometimes ???
