It's 6 am here on Tuesday morning. You have the time zones well and truly sorted Sandy.
 
I had my hysterical ectomy 26 yrs ago (I was VERY young).Best surgery decision ever.

I had no problems like early menopause,flushes,hormones etc. so I was very lucky.

Are you on meds to lower your glucose levels Sandy,or is it diet.
Aint life a b*tch sometimes ???

Sorry to interrupt, i woke up (again). My turn, then i gotta get going and you two can fight it out. To answer your Q Carol, I'm now on two meds for glucose levels, glucophage (metformin) and a new one, a weekly injection, Tanzeum.

It's a miracle! I managed to have the energy to cook dinner tonight, and it was rather good if I say so myself. We had poached salmon, green beans in browned butter and lemon sauce, and oven roasted potatoes. Delicious. The Utahns win.

Sorry I missed that. Had to make do with Pizza Hut.
 
If we're comparing dinner menus I had to make do with baked potatoes and a pork tenderloin.

Much rather had Sandy's potatoes and a nice steak - but you know how it goes...
 
Pork tenderloin and rice for me.Managed to eat half of it which is usual these days.
I'm not bothered though,me and food have fallen out.Except for choccy of course.
 
Hi peeps, well i had poached egg on toast last night , all i could be bothered to cook :)
tonights tea/dinner is yet to be named as i cant be arsed to decide yet lol...guess i'll have to put my thinking cap on n make a choice !!
 
I picked up hubby from airport. They sent his bag somewhere else. Still waiting for it to be found and returned. We met a friend at a pub for dinner. I had a Cajun chicken burger. Not that you could tell it was Cajun.

My meals are only clear fluids and it is difficult to get them down
Now minus a large piece of the left colon....better out than in
The surgeon was great well the whole team was in fact
Best part of all the lovely and very competent nurses most important to recovery
Getting better is the hardest but progressing and hopefully home at weekend
So...I ...am...

Great to hear from you Trysha, good luck post surgery and I hope you heal well and pain is manageable or well medicated!
 
So far just an indication that my dopamine and noradrenaline are high, my urine is too strong, my sodium is low. My platelets are still high as are my ALT. that's it folks! Still got more tests to go...

Semi colon....that's cute Dave, I'm not sure if anyone caught it because your question mark was on top of it. Trysha I hope that you feel better quickly and that you heal well without complications.
 
Getting off for a pit stop. I've got to go take my meds before my nap I feel coming on happens. Life in the slow lane. I'll just enjoy the scenery.

Omega you mean like a mustang? I like MG, triumph spitfire he he he I love sports cars.
Shanen my back pain comes from an old skiing accident to compacted sacrum. I also get an achy back higher up, but it could all be related [emoji2]
 
up super early for a win , Shanen my back is about the only place i don't ache (yet), but as Kirsty says it may well be related, maybe check with your doc,incase it maybe some other reason x
 
Here for another win, I need one, life is throwing curve balls at me. For my win, i would like a yellow mustang convertible, thank you very much. (And my back aches all the time, but it has nothing to do with crohn's -- I don't think -- and yes, I'm whining Carol. )

Hey Sandy, a bat to hit those curve balls away is in the post, the yellow mustang is on order, so bear with !!!
A whinge is complusory now n then hun so knock yourself out there kid (the bat may come in handy ) :lol2:
 
Aw, thanks Mandy, but it seems all I do lately is whine. But i very much appreciate the bat, and the Mustang convertible, down to the yellow color, has been a dream of mine for many years.
 
hey no probs hun, i'll make a promise that if i win the lottery the mustangs yours, shipped to your door with bell's n bow's on kid :). As i said a good whine does need to be done some times, n sometimes more than other's.. you know where i am if you want a good whine, i have big ears , they dont call me dumbo for nothing,(least i think it's my ears they mean ??) x
 
You do have good listening ears, but they look like they fit your head just fine, and there is nothing else to compare you to Dumbo with. Perhaps you should be called "Happy," like one of the seven dwarves.
 
I would also take an MG triumph spitfire in lieu of the Mustang, you don't see those around here too much.

I mean the MG instead of the Mustang. But what do you want if I should win the lottery (which we don't have in Utah, one of the seven states which don't and I believe only one of two without some form of legalized gambling):rof:

how odd that some states have no gambling,while others do maybe it's not a bad thing tho ,gets so many people in to trouble ...
