Well, the car had to go back to the mechanic after he put too much oil in during the service,so I was up with the larks.I feel like it's late afternoon instead of mid-morning.All done for the day, including prepared meals,so I'm going to have a lazy day reading. It's bleak outside, glad I got some cycling in yesterday.Mandy,I'll be thinking about you a work,(if I remember) and less of the "old" chum............winning

Oh i am so sorry Carol i forgot u are the young pup of the group ☺

Looking forward to seeing some of those amusingly clever TV adverts on British TV
About a month and a half to go and I will be there.
Can't wait to see the early beautiful spring flowers in the lovely green gardens.......then I will return to see the dawn of early springtime here.
Just watching a programme on the SATOR square found in early Roman ruins.
Carol will likely know of it........very interesting story
Winning.......

Haven't caught up with the ruins yet Trysha.I had to laugh at your enthusiasm for our TV ads. though. They drive me up the wall !!! They must think we're all brain dead and there are almost as many ad.breaks now as there are on American TV.Someone wrote in the paper recently, that there was a time when you could nip into the kitchen and make a quick cuppa, nowadays you can walk to the local for a couple of pints.A really good ad.to google is the gorilla on drums for Cadburys chocolate.

I got to come home yesterday (Friday) and it feels great being home. I'm feeling pretty good, just moving slow.

Glad your back home hun. Moving slows fine as long as you feel better. Take care love n hugs 💕💋

Now now children... of course Shanen being home is greater. You just bikering is naughty and im sending you both to bed.
Whilst i win 😆😆😕

So, we are agreed that either of us winning, is more important than Shanen being home.

No, you silly person. But I am winning. In spite of feeling like I'm losing (have a fever and flu like symptoms). So even if I'm losing, I'm winning.

Hi. Some people will have realised who I am by now. I have just received a message from jennifer, indicating that I was joking, about a reply I made to a thread named 'paranioa', by ronroush.

Some of you will know that I have been dealing with severe mental illness for a long time. To simply decide a post I made regarding these issues without asking is false, or a joke, is ignorant, incompetent, and insensitive.

Bleeding, thanks to what's happened. Before that, better than I had been for months.

Thanks for the welcome.

Glad you have had some good times. Sorry you are having trouble with the bleeding. Hope you are getting on to the docs re this.
Your welcome, missed you here.

Not quite what I meant, but thanks. Would be the Pdoc I would need to see about it, but there is nothing they can do, as my anxiety is too severe when triggered.

I have had a couple of mid-level flares recently, which has included a lot of bleeding ironically. This has now been sorted, thanks to the lovely pred, of which I took the last 5mg pill yesterday(down from 40mg).

Oh yes, winning as ever.

Won't be having many more wins, as the apology I demanded has not been forthcoming. Wont ask for the account to be closed like last time, just delete the bookmark and not visit anymore.

I also want an apology from whoever reported the 'offending' post, as they are as responsible for me having a gash in my arm as jennifer.

I agree with Carol. Dont leave us. We have missed you. I think the person who reported the post (who ever it was) was probably just concerned for your well being..

Doesn't seem like it.

To add what I said in rons 'paranoia', thread:

It revolves around what many people are feeling who receive disability benefits, that the DWP are constantely following them, trying to see any reason to stop said benefits.

They do actually sometimes do this, which, reinforced by the things I 'see' and 'hear', has made me so livid as to what I said in that thread being a 'joke'.

Thanks for your support.

Edit - Because jennifer holds a position of power here, it really is untenable for me to participate anymore, as the whole experience has been permanentely soured.

Thanks those who welcomed me, and offered me support over this. If I keep waiting for never coming apologies, this could end in a suicide attempt, as things like this build in me.

I agree with all the rest, don't go. We really missed you and were worried about you. The minority are just that and you are truly appreciated here.
I for one am glad you are back.

I hope you stay around Stu. Please realize that most people have good intentions in spite of how it appears to you. We care for you a great deal
Developing a good case of bronchitis to go along with everything else. But the fever is going down and we went for a nice ride Saturday to get out of the gunky air. We drove clear to Bear Lake then took the long way back along the back side of the mountains where the sky was blue and even into Wyoming a tad. We even saw a large heard of antelope (not a common site.) Losing in some ways, but winning in most.

Sandy, sorry your ill and I hope that you get better soon. Nice pictures. Stole your win - should go back to work just a quick scroll through all the posts to see what I missed whilst I was working and to see what the H#$$ was going on. Missed you all.

The pics would have been more clear if I had not had to shrink them so they wouldn't take half a page.
We've missed you too Grumpy. You can still consider this your win (for now).

Hey Stu, I'm slight confused, but I'm glad your back. I agree with Trev and hope you stick around

It's not the winning that matters,it's the taking part.

Whoever said that was obviously a loser and a twit.

Winning.

Well,we all love a trier Walt.
Taking the win from you without remorse......but a little thank you won't go amiss I'm sure.

Hahaha,no really Sandy that's OK.I know you're not well and you don't need the pressure of trying to stay ahead,on top of everything else.So I will happily take the win while you rest.........No Sandy,I insist, now go and LIE DOWN !!!

Shanen, you're supposed to be recovering. You may think you're strong enough to win,but we don't want a relapse now,do we ? Leave the winning to the fit and fearless.

Winning

Haha had a wee chuckle on opening this thread . Carol is on fine form today 😆
Shame she just does'nt realise yet that I AM THE TRUE WINNER, bless her i guess ignorance is bliss as they say.. :rof:

I rested now, Carol, and have been to the doc, and like Shanen, have nothing but time on my hand as I recover (mine not from surgery but from influenza with a side sinus infection and bronchitis.) The air around here is getting cleaned out over the next day or two, so it is all uphill from here. I am definitely winning. (*cough*cough*)

Sorry I stole your win Trysha. Sort of.

Get well soon Sandy
I will take care of the win meantime
Winning..........

Kirsty that fine as your sorry ..
Trev you were not sorry so thats not fine :rof:
So im taking back the win 😆😆

Hi all as you can see I have had a change of name, but I am afraid its still me...
I just wanted to post about a debate that is going on in the house of Commons on Wed the 24th of Feb re the treatment of crohn's and Colitis suffers in the uk.
It can be watched on the parliament channel on Sky or cable TV at 4.30pm. I will have to record it as I will be at work. Also if you do Facebook you can join the debate at. https://www.facebook.com/crohnsandc...isability rights for suffers or so it sounds.

*giggle* giggle*
Last time I was known to sleep eat (years ago after taking the sleep aid ambien which I have since been told not to take) I ate brownies, and before that potato chips (also with the ambien). At least this time I woke up with not a bag of chips on the floor by me, but a small half eaten bag of baby carrots in my bed. (And no sleep aid. ) See, I told you I'm getting healthier. :rof: :rof: :rof:
Winning.

That is a beautiful butterfly Mandy....thank you for sharing
The Natural History Museum in London has a collection of the most beautiful butterflies in the world
When we visited the butterflies at Niagara one sapphire blue one landed on my sisters shoulder, she was wearing an emerald green cardigan at the time....it was quite the moment..
She stood stock still not being one to like animals perching on her shoulder......
Feel better Sandy...
Winning...........

It is isnt it,but i cant take credit for it as it was Jennifer who posted it after i changed my username.
Love n hugs to all
If u feel good hope it continues,if u dont feel good i hope u do soon.💕💕💋💋

Evening all, stealing the win again. Hope you all had a wonderful day and have a great one tomorrow. Will talk to you then. Take care of yourselves or I will be forced to take time off work and travel copious amounts and come and talk to each of you in person and give you a bad time (yes like that would be a bad thing for me hee hee) :ghug:

Hi Grumpy, that would be a great excuse to travel the world, and I sure we would be glad to see you even if you were telling us off 😀:hug :

Temporary win, I'm sure sure, but I will be back to win later. On second thought, this is the end of the game.
I'm going to travel like Grumpy to reinforce the win, and I'm going to stop and see the butterflies while I'm out and about. So this is the end. Finito.
I win!!!

(quietly liking the butterfly)

Good Day All,
my body had a bad night.
my head is determined to have a good day.
what more can we do?

one little victory to get me started
peace
w

ps
Crohn's sucks

Due to heavy snow in 1891,the 3pm train from Paddington to Plymouth (probably a 2hr ride) left on March 9 and arrived on March 13th.Not much has changed then.
and in 1952 the Great Smog Of London was so bad that blind people led sighted people home from the railway stations.

Winning.

Lovely sunny day here but so.o.o cold.....have to go out swathed from head to foot...
The city has posted cold notices and opened warming centres for people
Just have to move really fast...not easy with so many layers.
It's winter...made for us to enjoy and further appreciate springtime.
I have some lovely fragrant primroses in my warm enclosed balcony.....hints of spring
Sorry to hear you had a bad night Walt...feel better soon
I noticed the butterfly gliding by on this page....
Winning........

The 1952 smog took 4000 lives.....really. A bad time in the London area
I was a young student in those days and travelling in that was ferocious....
No buses..... had to walk everywhere.
It was a choking experience with yellow fog full of pollution from industry and coal burning fires.....subsequently banned.
Thanks for posting Carol.....
Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.....

To all of you who posted after Sandy, Shame on You! She is the person in charge of LOW! If she says its over, its over!

Hmmm, Sorry Doug, didn't hear you, what was that, something about LOW?

The fuzzy butterfly left powder on my screen for a minute so I couldn't quite catch that and when I looked again there was another post.....

Sandy, sorry about your win, how's your heart?. Hi Shanen, how goes it, are you feeling a little better? Cool facts Carol, missed them while I was out wondering in the wilds of work, missed your sense of humour. Hi Mandy, I hope that you are well. Sorry you had a bad night Walt, I hope that you feel better soon and that tomorrow is a better day for you. Hi Trysha, how are you feeling? Didn't see Kirsty, but I'm sure she'll be along and I hope that you had a great day and that you are also feeling better. Hey Dave, what's up with you? Doug, seriously how is work and your health? Okay, if I missed anyone it was unintentional and I'm sorry and please let me know so that I can correct the oversight. For now I am taking the WIN without travel and guilt.

Hi Grumps, it's so nice to have you around lately. I like it when you have time off work. Heart is doing a lot better since latest med change, but I keep moving from one medical problem to another. :voodoo: I hope you and yours are doing well. Still taking care of your mother?
Carol, those were interesting tidbits of info. When our smog is bad we have mandatory "no burn" days, no fires in fireplaces, etc. unless it is only source of heat. (Which is half of winter.) You know such interesting and entertaining facts.
Shanen and Trysh, how are your recoveries going? Walt, feel better. Same with you Ron, I know your around somewhere and not feeling well. For those down under, come up from the southern hemisphere and say hi, would ya? Mandy, nice to see you fluttering about, hope you are well. You are always so caring and kind to others.
Doug, thanks for being such a good support and sweetheart. You're stuck with me forever whether you like it or not. 💖
Have a good day all. :ghug:

Hi you all, fluttering in for a win, which is also a win for Sandy as Doug has made my little wings tremble :rof:
Love you all, hope everyone has a good day. Flying off before Doug comes along with his net 😀

I just thought I'd point out that Butterflies have a very short lifespan.
They're also a tasty treat for other creatures, which can make it shorter still.:hallo3:

So enjoy your wins Mandy,it's later than you think :lol2:

I'll take the win while you consider your options

Oh Carol you fail to realize that I am a very special butterfly, and I have been given special powers. I have the POWER to take the win off you for a start :rof:
Love you loads Carol but not enough to let YOU WIN!!!
LOL...

I think "fuzzy" says it all Mandy

And I'm winning. Hope you're enjoying your time off work :soledance:

Morning all. Glad you've got a bit more free time to join us Grumpy. Hope things are well with you. I'm still on the mend but feeling better by the day.

Really glad to hear you're recovering Shanen. But please don't rush back to work (as if) ! :ghug:

Hi Shanen glad you're doing well hun, keep up the good work, soon you will be better than your old self, big hugs 💕Mandy

Taking my last win for today, so you all go ahead and play.
It wont make any difference, because I'll be back tomorrow, and as Dorothy said to Toto
"tomorrow is another day" Nighty night.
