I really trust God :heart:will take care of her because she was given up for dead before. Was on a ventilator for days unconcious and bloated up all over. Had congestive heart failure and pneumonia. We went in with the pastor's wife and sang hymns to her unconcious person and the very next morning, joan went in to see her and the nurse said Close your eyes. Joan was scared, but followed her into the room and Paula who they said would be dead, was sitting up in bed, no ventilator and eating a full size breakfast and was fine! Got the chills now?:D:heart::heart::heart:
Wait, didn't see this post yet...

I believe it. when had first mini stroke, I couldn't open eyes (mostly) but could hear most of what going on around me. that is how I heard them say to have crash cart ready "just in case." it all was really weird feeling. people know who is there and what is going on.
my second TIA I got very angry and they had to give me a sedative or couldn't do CT scan. Also weird.

It amazes me when I hear different stories about people who know what's going on when they seem to be unconcious. Even those in coma's!

my sis was in coma for few days before she died. I know she could hear us by when she groaned, etc. little tiny things.

That brings tears to my eyes. I wish I would've had a chnace to say goodbye to mine. It's hard....

too hard. I knew she hurt and we would give her morphine through one of those pumps that are timed so you can't give too much. I know this sounds awful, but because I knew she hurt, I wished I could give her big dose so she wouldn't hurt at all anymore. we knew she was gone anyway. I miss her still though, years and years later.

This is also a time when the alumi come back, so I am going to a bnaquet tomorrow for all the the alumi. It is an exciting time to be back on campus!

Hope Alfie is ok.
