That's ok, I still got my presents! I got a new 16 megapixal camera and a new car and my hubs just had a stereo installed in it too yesterday for me! He must like naughty!!!:ylol:
 
I would have loved to get you all presents,
because you really are my friends.
But, money and lack of employment
have caused my present buying days to end.
You are all a part of my list though, if fortune should come my way,
And you never know it could happen, some fine unexpected day!
But until then plz know that I love you and
cherish you all, it is true.
I will remember these times and our laughter, as some of the best things that I do.
Life can be so darn demanding and people may sometimes let you down,
But friendship and love is worth sharing,
even in far away towns.
So remember me on Christmas morning, as you open your gifts from your fam
and know that I wished we all were together, and hope someday we really can!

You all Have a merry Christmas. I probably won't be around the next couple days. Enjoying Christmas with family and friends. Hope you all get to do the same. Now going to start up my baking for tomorrow. Love you guys you special bunch!
 
Just going to share one more christmas memory with you. Was chatting with my cousin fron America. She spent one christmas with us when she was stationed in Germany... so its really more her memory. But i was there too. ;)

On christmas day we go to my Uncles cabin in the wood near a lake. There was so much snow that winter.. it was crazy. So we have this big van or minibus that sits about 7-8 people in it. I was probably driving it too (since I didnt drink). We had maybe 16 people in a small cabin. Cosy. As we are going home the "fun begins". To get to the cabin you drive down a hill. Well to get out you drive up the hill. That van just could not make it up. We had 10 people helping us up the hill. My grandma (then around 80 years old) nearly peed her pants because she was laughing so much with the fun of getting the car up. Just as we had called the locals with a tracktor to come and help us up we managed somehow te get out of the snow and onto the way home. This was actually a re-acuring event on several christmases, but for my cousin it has been a menory she will never forget. It was a great christmas that year. :)

Just googled it, they are a caramel flavored, biscuit cookies. Sounds just yummy!:rof: Woke up with terrible foot pain in the right heel area. Couldn't walk. I think it might be plantar faceitis. I looked it up. Ever have it?
 
I've never even heard of it but resting anything sore sounds like a good idea. I'm battling nausea second morning in a row and feel like death. Usually passes in an hour or two tho. Womdering if I get blocked and once things clear ì feel better.

Before I was diagnosed, I was sick in the stomach for 6 months and didn't know why. Finally went to my Dr. and they sent me to a GI. They did a colonoscopy and lown and behold, crohn's flare! So that is the cause. You get sick in the tum alot!
 
I am so tired today could scream. Neurontin for fibromyalgia does me in too in the morning. Just want to go back to sleep! I might!

But why for an hour or two and then once I have a jillion bms I feel hundred percent fine.

I almost got ALL of my Christmas shopping done yesterday. I still have a brother in law ti buy for, and he is prolly just gettin a $100 gift card to the store Champs, and my nephew needs more presents. Much worse is, I need my husband's gift. Seems like that should be the easiest. But he sees something he wants, and he buys it!!! The stores are full of crazies right now though. And I still have to get the ham for dinner too. And pack an entire house and move it to another by the first of the month. Good news is I learned my brother is in town early this year, which means he has no excuse to not help move the furniture.

I fainted again yesterday. In the middle of a line waiting to check out. I was so embarrassed. Sandy, I can see how it would be scary going anywhere with your seizures. The husband went on uber protect mood then. Carried me to the car and wasn't going to let me go to the last store we had, but I found a wheelchair outside the door, so I was allowed. lol.

How is everyone??! Hope all is well!!!
ps..it goes without saying, though I was on top of things and got your addresses early, I have had all too much going on, and your gifts will be late!! But late is better, its like a whole nother Christmas! LOL!!
 
(And how terrible is this? I have three friends I buy for every year, without fail. This year, I am waiting until after christmas, for the sales!!!!)

Dee, I'm pretty sure the nausea is because you haven't, well, pooped everything out, through all constrictions (even if small) you have. Owie Teresa. what you told me in email I am almost certain it is plantar faceitis. Amidst everything else I have had, I have had that too. if there is something to get, I seem to get it. Foot surgery about year or two ago, get infection in the bone, it is now "mottled" and will probably have to have total joint replacement in about a year. it is really aching as the weather gets colder. I find myself walking on the side of my foot. about a year before that, had a sinus lift so I could get a tooth implant, got a major infection then, thought I was going to die for a few days. Back when H1N1 was showing it's ugly head more, I came down with it on thanksgiving day when I was in charge of it. That day, I was indeed grateful for my mother. also had pneumonia, but was not bad enough to be hospitalized. When having a spinal tap, ended up with a "spinal tap headache." (very nasty). One in ten chance of that. They do a blood patch. One in ten chance of that not working. Another blood patch. Another blood patch. Another blood patch. (trying to stop my spinal fluid from leaking.) Finally ended up in hospital, which was something like one in million chance. weird thing, nothing they were doing was helping until my doctor tried controversial method of curing - mega doses of caffeine. Weird, huh? Okay, done griping for the moment. Sorta. Also, Doug got me back home the other day because I wasn't feeling well before the seizure hit. Learning some of the cues and triggers! (not quite in time for that one, but at least I was home and didn't end up naked on the bathroom floor banging my head between tub and toilet, or in a store parking lot or in the middle of church like I have been.
 
And Doug is the one on the immunosuppressive drug. But as all you crohnies know, crohns is enough in itself.

How is everyone else?

I did have something really, really cool happen this Christmas season though. if you are all good, perhaps I will tell you about it later.

i have to agree with Dusty (first and last time) i wouldnt want my grandkids reading some of the posts on here, we should move them to the R rated section.

My cool thing is more cool than any cuppa or drink of any kind, but I agree that there is nothing like some time spent with good friend over a meal or drink of some kind, or good family. There is nothing like that time connecting, is there? I will share my present Christmas night (Utah time) some time. Gotcha all curious now, don't I? Trev, it is definitely not rated R!

Yes, a lot, but not cancer! That which does not kill us can indeed make us stronger. partially there, but still learning. life is for learning.
 
Hi, I'm still tired and in pain, but not as bad. We are leaving in half an hour or so. I don't feel like going anywhere! But, I wrapped the kids gifts and they will love them I'm sure. It must bee nice to bee a kid today! I got one thing when I was, and I played with it till it evaporated into thin air!!!:biggrin:(In other words till Mom threw it away and I would cry and cry for days looking for it, IE,my teddy bear with eyes gone and you name it all over it!):blush:
 
She disappeared! I hope she comes back like Christmas magic too. So, Dee and Trev, what are you up to?
 
Was googling plantar faciitis and they have all these weird looking braces for it. I need new shoes too. But will get the inserts today! I have to go now. If I am able, I'll bee back tonight!!! Loves and hugs too!!!
 
I'm blurry now, but at least not laying down on the job. Bee back later to fix it. A cinnamon roll is calling me.
 
I've never shown a pic of me with my glasses on, because I look so much better without them. I'm as blind as a bat without them, though, so thought I would show the real me. Thanks for your kind words, m'lady.

You are so beautiful Sandy and inside as well! You do have killer blue eyes and it is ashame you have to hide them. But, I can't see much without mine anymore either. The joys of getting older!!!:biggrin::heart:

i would come Sandy, but 300 hours on a plane would drive me nuts. i even avoid going to Australia when i can and thats only 3 hrs.
 
if we sent you a first class ticket, would that help? Or do I need to charter a lear jet? this is getting expensive.
 
sloppy Joe. ground beef or hamburger in a bbq sauce on a hamburger bun. easy and fast. And sloppy to eat.

you could move closer. i get bored in a plane, and i always get a kid sitting behind me who likes to kick my seat.

It's browned ground beef simmered in tomato sauce or ketchup with brown sugar and onion and some put sweet relish in too. You then serve it on a bun as sandwiches. They are sloppy to eat!!! Thus the name.
 
A reply to Angel I did disappeared! Can't wait to see the pics. Is she as pretty as you? I'm wearing my tatty old housecoat in my avatar pic. don't tell anyone. really miss you Angel! Party at 7:30 I think I said. or 6:30. Just show up and we'll all bee happy. We are getting a Christmas eve snow, but it won't ground any planes. forgot what else I was going say. oh, Trev is coming via lear jet

No but hubs took alot of pictures of the bridge. We drove as far north as you can to Copper harbor. We took pics of tons of waterfalls up there. We went to Pictured Rocks too. Ever seen them? Beautiful boat tour of them!

My girls are way more gorgeous than i. I love them with all my heart. Wish her the best. She's missed her connection twice b/c of storm in Colorado and construction in Texas, so plz pray for them as they are stranded on their way back to base in new York. Muah!!
 
nice!!! During Labor Day weekend you can walk the bridge. But only on Labor Day. It is some tradition that goes way back.
 
It was gorgeous. Went to Taquoniman falls or however you spell it. You should try to get up there sometime. there is copper in the water, makes the falls look brownish.
Who is in Michigan? Your parents, right???
