Born and raised here. Dad worked for Metropolitan Life, got transferred down to US as VP then got Prez up here so we moved back.

I have to go for now but, warning! I will bee back.... Just have some work to do around here and am getting hungry now!:ghug:

he threatened to edit it (I should have let him add the missing letter - can't even say that letter with this crowd - but I told him I would have added it again 10 times in a row if he did that.

Dusty, you know I can't "thank" or "send my support" to your comments very much, although I do, or I would be kicked over to the "dark side." I'm a little bit of a bad girl today, but Doug can't do anything about it, because (a) he is on his way to an audit an hour away and (b) I'm posting from my phone this time and he doesn't know the password.

another Christmas story. there was one year, about 48 years ago or so, that a tag fell off a tricycle under the tree. I was sure it was for me. my mother told me Santa left it for my brother Ross, but I demanded to know how she knew. I was a naughty girl back then, too.
 
I'm feeling a little too free with the Ashley situation and all. I've been on a roller coaster. Sorry! :eek:

Hi Sandy and Everybody,
I am now in St Abans - Hertfordshire -UK after a very good flight over the Atlantic, not a single bump!
Glad to see my family again, sister is doing really well at the moment.
Weather is pouring with rain just for me... I think Robert might have arranged this!
Kind of you to miss me Sandy---thank you.
Have a lovely Christmas and I will be thinking of you all at the Christmas Mass.

Very wet and windy here in St Albans Robert, but I think you already know that.
Probably the same in Ipswich!
I would be hopeful for some future decorum and hopeful it will last.

Spinny, I appreciated your stories. it does sound like a wonderland where you live. it is great to hear of other's traditions also. I really appreciate hearing traditions from near and far.
 
I just wanted to say something important...........I have decided that the name Kylie will never be mentioned in my posts ever again.I realise that I have said some very unkind things in the past.I apologise to the aforementioned lady and her biggest fan,aka stalker.It is not in my nature to cast aspertions on those less fortunate than myself,and all I can say in my defence is that this forum brought out the worst in me.From now on,you will see my true self.Quiet,sympathetic,caring............and boring.

c-diff? I am being tested for that too. My dad saw something online about poo transfers with a 90% success rate. Like they take healthy poo from someone and you get a poo transplant. Sign me up for that please bahahha. But seriously, it cures c-diff. Google it. I'm still in a very hyper/immature mood today and am laughing cuz I said poo so many times in this post.

And yes, no holiday hospital trips for you bug, or for any of us, not allowed!! :ghug:

I saw a show about the transplants and they really work. Cures crohn's too sometimes! I am not feeling great, Diarrhea again and just tired. Went to town to get a few things and forgot the main thing I really needed! My Mom and sister in laws bday cards! CHZZZZZZ<letting the air out of my head!!! LOL:ybatty: :lol2::lol2::lol2:

It is a very contagious bacteria that affects the intestines and causes severe diarrhea. Many people with crohn's get it because their immune systems are down and the bacteria they need (healthy ) in the intestines is not present either. This is why taking probiotics is so important!!!
 
it hadn't arrived to my phone yet. Darn delays in cell phone emails. I'm sorry you don't feel exactly well.

You dont have to have crohn's to get it tho....It is the awful illness people get on those cruise ships and everyone is throwing up and in the john. Great cruise that would be!!!:yrolleyes:

Thank you for the good wishes.
It is good to be with the family at this time and to enjoy Christmas together.
Time will be short since the Remicade is due to start Jan 3rd----all being well at the organisation end of it.
I am not reallly happy about it but have to follow the insistent GI orders.
So I choose to forget it until I return to Canada, and celebrate the festive season.

bug, hugs and hugs and hugs. hang in there! I miss talking to you here. we seem to miss each other. I'm sooooo sorry you have to go through something else.
 
Even though it is not night time, I though ya'll might want to know what the surgeon told me today. So I found out that I will be having massive surgery on February 11. They want to remove two different sections of my colon and remove the fistula that is connecting my bladder and my colon. They may also have to do some reconstruction of the bladder if it has been damaged because of the fistula. I could be in the hospital for up to a week, then on bed/home rest for almost 6 weeks. Please pray for peace in the midst of this storm because the recovery is going to be long and painful. Thanks everyone for your prayers!

Blah.. I hate it when you sit down with a nice fresh cup of tea to watch your favorite tv-show that you recorded.. and BAM.. it was replaced with some silly movie and my series is on a break. :( booohoooo.... I gues I will just go to bed early. need that too.

Eeek! That would be awful! And eeek! my phone is been particularly slow with everything. even printing out the letters I type. I will be back after I re-boot my phone.

For those of you that I offended in my earlier posts today, I sincerely apologize. It is not like me to act so coarse. I try to act like a Christian and was not doing a very good job today. And for some reason, I'm not even able to delete one post that I feel particularly bad about. Really folks, sorry.

Once in awhile just grab her up and take her into your arms and tell her you just can't resist her and take her!
Take her out on a date(a real date like dinner and a movie or let her pick). Once a week and I guarentee she will be happy Trev!!! I get excited from one long passionate kiss like he means it!!!:biggrin::heart:

Good points. If it is time, than I am thankful I found this place before the end of time. I am pretty sure I will wake up in the mornin wantin my cup of coffee though. Kinna like Y2K.

You never know for sure though do you??!!! Ironically, we are due for a terrible storm. Tonsa snow. 45-50 mile an hr winds, and snow drifts up to 6 feet high. We were advised to go get things we might need over the next few days.
