If you don't hear from me for a couple of days it's because out team at work is staying on a Marae ( a good google exercise)

What do you guys do K? Sit around beating on drums and singing Kumbay-ai?

What's up with your hip?…or was that just where the bloods were drawn and it's crohns?

Is it me or is this getting a bit boring? How about a round robin story? sort of like...
It was adark and stormy night and I'd taken my toy poodle, Tarquin, out to do his business before retiring for the night. It was a route we followed every evening and we met several people walking their dogs whom we recognized. Suddenly...

Dare I ask what?????

Best not to Paddy !!!! As to your Round Robin idea,we've tried a few variations in the past.but we always end up being boring, especially Robert and El-A. If you have a look at the Adult/fun threads you might find something to test your mind.:confused2:

I have been hard at it since 7am - shocking really

Time for a break then.A nice glass of something and a square or two of Swiss choccy......Isn't it quiet without Teresa ? Poor Sandy's going into a decline.I think she's back tomorrow, hopefully without a little something in the oven :lol2::lol2::lol2:

*peeks in* I had a handful of fries (crisps or pomme frits depending on where ya come from) today! Fingers crossed that they don't tear me open!!

We have workshops after powhiri, workshops until after tea and then we have wine, then we all crash out in the wharenui to sleep. Wake up and have more workshops.

Hip, the doc thinks I may have arthritis in hip. Just have to wait and see.

I'm b-a-a-c-k! Here for my win. No wind storms, surgeries, foggy brains, or doctor's appointments at the moment, so I win.

How do you cope with Tramadol Kirsty ? I only took it for a week and had to stop.Nearly drove me loopy (er)

Wonder, you take care of you and that little one. But maybe baby wanted some "fries" too.:ylol:

It doesn't have too much effect on me now even with a glass if red wine. But it doesn't make all the pain go away either

It didn't do anything for me, at all. No side effects, almost no pain control. Used it for migraines for awhile. Finally realized advil (bad for guts) and diet coke worked better.

started acupan yesterday and they were worse,so I'm just going to manage my pain myself.I'm terrified of side effects, especially when they're worse than the symptoms they're supposed to help.I might have to go back to the demon drink to help me forget the pain  :lol2:

we thought - let's tie the dog up outside the pub and get trollied

Is that the sort of thing you meant Paddy?

Powhiri? Wharenui? You're just trying to keep us busy!!

Add arthritic hip to your toooooo long list K, but you just smile when you feel like crying!!

I'm up late because my son went out and its raining and slippery out I'm worried :/ But winning.

I like fish, and I like pie. Fish and pie do not belong in the same sentence let alone the same dish!!

I win!!

I win 'cos I've squeezed 2 days housework/laundry etc into 6hrs.Decided to risk the weather and take the caravan away for a few days. Not going 'til Sunday, but got other stuff to do before we go.It's been a loooooong winter and we need a break.

Fish pie...Ewwwwwwe

It's lovely Mary, unless you hate fish that is.White fish and prawns, smoked fish if you like it,hard boiled egg, creamy sauce and topped with mashed potato and grated cheese and sliced tomato browned under grill.I know you didn't ask and Trev probably does his differently to me,him being in NZ.

Teresa texted me (although I was asleep). SHE'S ON HER WAY HOME! Home in a few hours. YAY! I win!

(Americans don't do fish pie. I agree, ewwwwww!)

Hi Cheryl! will you quit being diplomatic and tell them fish pie is disgusting? (Actually, Carol, I've eaten fish sandwiches at McDonald's.)

Not the same,at least not from Maccy D's over here.Don't forget Robert & I Live (ed) in fishing ports so we're used to the good stuff. But I prefer shellfish myself.

Sandy.......don't know what your missing.Up North here we have a speciality, pease pudding stotties. Not a lover myself unless with a nice slab of honey baked ham.

you broke my phone. I was looking up what pease pudding stotties is and my phone keeps freezing. speak English  please.

Fish Finger butty - I only have one every few years or so and I always forget that it is probably in my Top 10 snacks - ever! Has to be pappy white bread though - nothing fancy.

Actually fish pie is a rude term where I come from.

This photo is for Cheryl - see what you are missing

Okay, I looked it up and that sounds good to me, but I would prefer with honey baked ham myself. just no fish.

pease pud is cooked split peas.We boil ham to make a tasty stock add the s.peas and cook until thickened, allow to cool and use as a spread.Stotties are flat, white bread cakes.I think stotties is only a local name.(We are Geordies).Like I said a nice slice of ham makes it tasty. But it can be made without the ham stock. The miners and the ship yard workers would take them for their bait (elevenses)with a bottle of cold tea,in the old days...........Ask me another, hahaha

Thank you Carol. now I'm getting hungry. I think I'll go have my corn flakes with banana and a couple of almonds (almonds to make it a complete protein to make Teresa happy). Love you all!

Babe, we will miss you too, and will continue to party hard in your absence.

she's backkkkkkkkkk!

And I love shepherd's pie, but didn't that dish originate in England?

I might find some sense of sanity now.

Did you catch it with your bare hands Trev?

sure did, a mate threw it to me and i caught it. just been to the RSA for dinner, scallops rapped in bacon, yummy.. dont know why i cant loose any weight.

Resting, eating, sleeping, drinking red wine or bourbon, gardening, watching the tides change, watching herons, shags and oyster catches, looking out for stingrays, playing with cats What about you Trev?

Hey guys! How are you today?

I have a busy weekend ahead. Friends bachelorette party. Getting ready for it now.. as in packing. We leave early tomorrow morning (too early if you ask me). Leaving at around 7:30.. its a 2 hour drive to an other city where some are starting the party tonight allready, but a lot of us are joining in tomorrow. Hope it will be fun.

Back to getting ready.. But I will take the win first.
